Im using yahoo mail need the menu button instead og going into settings to change to different accounts
The app doesn't support the 3 dot menu button, you have to switch to the Accounts section and switch.

I was wondering if anyone has tried to remap the home button via the /system/usr/keylayout/ *.kl alteration method. Could be why home takes to only Amazon launcher.
Just a thought, to further launcher access. I did this on this phone to get rid of the sms button cause I use go sms, and the button launches stock messenging app only

I canned the stock softkeys. Using button savior pro now.

I too use button savior pro on all of my devices, I like it for the cam and volume and menu buttons on 4.0+ devices. But was wondering about the stock button bar if anyone has tried this method to bypass amazon's lockdown of the device.

The new HTC One has been released. However, only 2 visible button is presented. Home and back button. So do anyone know how the HTC One to access the other functions like "Multi-task" and "Menu" ? Is the "hTC" icon in the bottom of the phone also a functionable button?

From what I just read, double-tap on home brings up recent apps. Not sure about the menu though...it probably uses the 3-dot menu standard in ics and above.
If you ask me, I'd say they should've ditched the buttons or whatever they're called and just put some extra screen real estate and give us a software/onscreen navigation bar.

Double tapping home gives you the recent apps while holding down home will launch you to Google now. I'm not sure about the menu system. Its probably the 3 dot system like the above post.
Yes no one seems to know how to access the menu.
Access menu is the 3 dot on screen, just like htc one x

Are you running 4.2.2 at the moment? If so, go to Settings>Display, gestures & buttons and change the 'Home' button setting to act as menu
Just got S5 active.
Using app My cast lite.
Can't get into menu to turn off notifications without using the menu button.

There is a way. Download Gravity box (KK) and open it. Then scroll down and click on navigation key actions, then modify the long press and single tap for Recents Key

Nice tip about long pressing the button to get to settings quickly. Thanks
I had already enabled developers options by going to settings, then about and tapping Build Number a bunch of times, but your way is obviously much quicker.
Update:
Just found out that if you long press the home screen you can change watch faces.
For the record - Pressing it 7 times enabled developer tools
