FmRadio/apk+odex file
You should be able to grab the app and the odex file from any flashable stock ROM.

I have been extensively reading the threads and cannot seem to find the answer. I apologize for my noviceness. I went to the HTC site and it gave me this ROM to update on my phone. I use the phone in the US:
1. Will this ROM change my US settings?
2. Has anyone up upgraded to this and is the performance better?
Thanks for your help.
surely this rom is better
all your data will be erased.
but when you make the download, you'l have to choose the country and operator and local settings will be fine. The roms are different between different countries
yup i upgraded to that specific rom. The language is still english. Everything on YOUR DEVICE (not internal storage) is gone. The speed of TF3D is much faster as HTC has removed many of the animations. The phone will also get better reception and become quadband thanks to the new radio.
Thank you, do you use T-Mobile Use.

I am not that good either, lol. I just do trial and error when it comes to that. But the program is free its called 7-Zip. You can right click on a rom (on PC) then click "open archive" it will then open the rom with-out unzipping it. From there click around and find languages and drag and drop into another window of 7-Zip (the one with your current rom) and then load that to your SD card and flash. Make a nandroid first though Or wait and someone else might be able to tell you a diff solution...
yaa but the problim hear is that the rom is for gsm and for another phone not a hero pluse its not for cdma so if i copy files it wont work on the hero cdma thats why i thought if someone port the whole rom it will work the way it is all of it
Any developer knows how to do it please

Basically you need the font and then a full translation of the whole rom. This is how miui was brought to the for front since it was originally in chinese. Basically you have to go threw alot of the rom and edit the values for each of the contained apps and then also for the framework. You need to decompile each apk and then edit the strings.xml... basically a pain staking process.
You can;t really port localization that I know.
is it just to pick the framework and the apks and the fonts and the lib from the system and add it to my own rom or what lol couse iam not realy a programer all i did is added the fonts to my rom but the letters are not connected what can i get from this rom to fix that and what is the trancelate files that you are talking about is it the lib ??
please let me know ..
thanx alot
Could someone pull the FM Radio from either the stock or a rom that has it working for the Ideos X6. I recently took apart my Motorola Triumph and it has a bluetooth/ radio chip integrated on the motherboard. I would like the .apk to see if I can get it installed and maybe working. Thanks in advanced.

You want to try this on which ROM ? Here it is, taken from RC2, deoxed, there were 2 files you need to search for the associated lib file which most of us have been doing unsuccessfully !....All the best
Well I want to just see if I can get it working on any rom. Now that I know that we have the hardware, it's just a matter of getting it to work.

Hi, there is a thread of this kind already in this forum. But no matter this. The problem is that JB nor ICS have FM Radio installed from stock (or custom). You need to download a separate application. The one I would recommend is FM Radio.
