Thanks but I hear it picks up oils big time. I have it for my I phone 5 and it is a grease magnet.

This is the nilikin slim case. I have it in black and white and love it. Doesn't add too much bulk at all and is still protective.
Doin' big thangs from my Note Deuce

bear motion has a very nice case. i got a grey one off amazon. it has some type of micro fiber texture so it doesnt slip from my hand when reaching across the big screen with my thumb.
i have a sf matte as well. bear motion is a lot nicer imo

I really like my case from cuzerliteits not to think at all. I actually didn't want a case but after having the phone slip out of my pocket and slide down carpeted steps... from the top everyone... yeah not good. Doesn't pick up grease either

[Q] Cant choose between two cases!!

So just got the nexus s 4g, wanna get a really really slim minimalist case almost a bumper type case, so I narrowed between two choices the Nexus S Ringke Case or the Incipio feather Ultralight Hard Shell Case. And i ddint seem to find any other good alternatives between those, any suggestions? I posted the link to both below.
http://www.rearthusa.com/Nexus-S-Slim-Protection-Kit_p_234.html
http://www.myincipio.com/Google-Nex...exus-S-feather-Ultralight-Hard-Shell-Case.asp
Incipio Feather is less bulky and more slim than any silicon/TPU cases.
If your picky and takes care of your phone go with the feather by incipio. Tpu case if your more caresless and drops phones constantly
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA Premium App
a review on the incipio site said the case needed to be trimmed to fit the 4g? I am also trying to decide on the incipio because its made for the nexus s and the NS4g is a bit thicker.

Incipio fits well on my NS4G, and since every case isn't exactly the same u might have to trim only little bit on top of power button cut out, more like scraping off some plastic, sharp knife will help. I strongly recommend that case, I love it.

ditto. my wife and i both have incipio feather case, i'm a phone in the pocket guy so need something light and thin that doesnt add bulk. only thing i wish it it covered top and bottom better, but no biggie. and my power button works fine, the cutout is not centered to it, i thought about trimming the top of the cutout like 1mm MAYBE, but not necessary. great case for the $, check deals on amazon.
i would go for the rearth ringke. Nice case and good deal on the bundle (w/2 audio plugs and screen protectors, even if they are a little small).
Man, im way to hard on my phones to use a sleek case. i tape two 4" pieces of foam top either side of mine

Cruzer Lite Androidified A2 TPU Case Review

Cruzer Lite Androidified A2 High Gloss TPU case
Cliffs:
Affordable. Just under 10 bucks.
Great grip & feel
Great fit, extremely slim
Ports easily accessible.
Aesthetically pleasing.
WISH THERE WAS A MATTE VERSION. Donot like the fingerprints that come native.
Great case all in all. Would buy!
Video review(long): http://youtu.be/IA2SlvLq4sY
Lifts up any screen protector that you put on it.
I dont have one on there yet. But that is interesting
I've also experienced this issue. Since the lip is a little thicker than some other TPU cases it will lift the screen protector in some cases.
Lifts my protectors

No issues with my SGP Ultra Crystal
these are super thin cases but why can't they make one that's just plain. Unfortunate that Diztronic decided to skip out on Note II TPU cases this time around

Elago slim fit case w/rubber grip

I bought the elago case off amazon for $10. Great slim fit case except no grip.
So I went to Home depot and bought a can of black tool handle grip spray. Taped case, scuffed where I wanted spray to stick with scotch brite pad and sprayed.
Now slim and grippy but not thick. It still slides in and out of pocket with ease.
Spray with thin coats every 30 mins untill desired amount. If you spray to heavy let dry and rub off with hand or scrapper. I speed dried with heat gun. Screwed up and to thick 1st time but perfect the 2nd.
Anyway thought I'd share with anybody looking for slim with grip case make you own.
Fyi, I only found black but they make yellow, blue and white I think..

Here is under side. Didnt tape 1st time so need to sand it as I didnt want to F up the fit of the phone.
Make sure you tape the inside and trim around anything you dont want sprayed

This is just a what I need. I love the thinness of my nillikin the case but it is white and cheaply designed so it stains easily.

Dude this is good stuff here. I just got this case in today. Its pretty nice but im thinking im going to do your spray idea but do the whole thing. Betting that spray is heavy and adds strength to the case.

Hi....same problem with the elago case.....has anyone else sprayed theirs? I would like to know from the original poster or anyone else who has done this if the rubber comes off, and damages clothes, gets on hands, is messy, etc. thanks so much....sounds like a smart idea!
Plastidip is the right stuff. I have done this a bunch to many different items. I sprayed the back plate of my note 2 because I like to use bumper cases. This gives it some grip. Like the op said, just use thin coats. If you don't like it, it just peels off when it's dry. It does rub off of the back plate after a while, but it is so easy to do again.

Sounds great! Will work on it tomorrow! Thanks so much for your reply!
Yes, thin coats and tape off the inside of case as close to edge as possible.
I went to pepvoys and found a can of trunk bed liner like rhimo liner which works better and hasn't faded or rubbed off. It sprayed thick but levels out nicely. Take precaution to any runs or drips on edges and with flat edge run along to cut drip and it should level out. I did just the outer sides

You definitely need to setup up lil spray area jig for case. I have kinda spray shop in my garage but basically just postisioned on 2 spray can lids and walked around spraying lightly. Waiting about 10-15 mins to recoat maybe less depending on room temps. Just keep eye on any would be drips and run them off with flat edge. I bought 3 elgo cases so I was afraid to F one up. Practice helps!

Otter box commuter or ballistics

Which one and why
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
I went with Ballistic.
First of all i didn't like how the otterbox for the SGN2 looks. They make awesome cases, but sometimes they are very ugly (ie the Otterbox iPhone cases).
another great extra is the ballistic is cheaper, u can pick one up on ebay for ~25-29$.
BTW, already saved my phone once.. it fell of the table, right on it's side and survived without any evidence.

I went with the ballistic too. Ive dropped it many many times lol, and so far no damage. My brother in law has the commuter for his note and its not bad as well. On the plus side the commuter has rubber covers for the battery and headphone jack but the ballistic has those corners. I wish the ballistic had bigger corners but im satisfied with its protection. Either way I dont think you'd go wrong.
The commuter. More solid and stylish with a cleaner look.
Which for more protection?
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
Specifically drop protection. I know the ballistic case has those big corners but the commuter looks thicker in general
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
I have a Commuter case and I'm happy. I had a Defender for my previous phone and it was overkill.
Don't know much about Ballistics, but I would recommend the Commuter case. It fits the phone nicely, and feels good in the hand. I dropped my phone once and wasn't worried about it, either,

I have a commuter and my buddy has a ballistic. Both offer good protection but I prefer the commuters build quality and feel. Plus gotta love otters customer service; replaced my case (loose silicon around the power button) no questions asked.

I believe that some people have used some spray on grip/rubber compound of some sort. One guy used it on a slim case of his to get proper grip, but I cant remember the name; google might say. I guess you could use the same on the commuter. Also there is always grip tape and you just cut out pieces for key areas of the back of the commuter.

Case feels perfect in my hand, and offers more of a gripping surface than the phone does without it. Further, since it isn't all notched up, the case moves easily enough into pockets as well.
For me, the case design exhibits a balanced compromise.

Otterbox commuter pics and thoughts

Figured id snap a few pics of the otterbox commuter since i didnt see any after searching. I really like the feel and looks of this case. It offers awesome protection but not much bulk. I had the defender but just really didnt like the design. I think otterbox did awesome with the commuter. Plus the screen protector is super clear and easy to apply.
Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
Awesome, been waiting for someone to post info/pics first hand of this. I have the Incipio DualPro but have been considering switching to the Commuter. The grip on the DualPro is a bit slick and I hate how the top and bottom flap around too easily.
Hows the grip on the Commuter and do any of the edges flap around if you flick your finger over them, or are they held tight? Hows the travel on the back button covers feel? Is it just as easy to press the buttons?

All the buttons are easy to press. I know for a while otterbox was putting out cases with stiff buttons. The flaps all real tight and require some effort to open them which i think is good. This case dosent seem as slippery as my other commuters. My s3 was a pain to grip. 1 week use and no scratches on screen protector

Thanks for this post! Got a quick question though i have a zagg screen protector on its and I'm scared it will peel the protector off

I got this same case and one of the otterbox branded screen protectors *similar to an invisishield* and it's a perfect combination, when I had the Optimus G it was the only phone I ever had that I broke the screen and my g2 feels really solid with these on it

I got one too, fitment is good, just a little too bulky for me to use everyday. ...so I use quick window for day to day, and otterbox for outdoor scenarios

How much bulk does the Commuter add to the G2 (compared to the Dualpro)? How about the lip around the screen?
It's at least half again as thick as the Dual Pro, from the last time I tried it, and the rim adds about 1/8" to the height of the screen. It makes the phone wider than the Spigen Slim Armor, which already adds 1/8" on each side and back.

Thanks for the input. Deciding between these two cases.
Eta:
Could someone take a picture of the phone naked next to the case (commuter) so I get the idea of bulk that's added. Thanks!
