I'm making this thread to avoid confusion now that there is a working port.
Well just heard back from xxbabiboi228xx and trock79 apparently will be using parts of his rom in the future, but until then.
Here is my port, everything seems to work and I do not intend on maintaining this. Hope this works out for anyone who wants it.
This is a straight port of xxbabiboi228xx's rom! I did not have anything to do with the development of this rom and take no credit for doing so, only for making it work on the inc.

Changlog:

Cleaned up the sprint stuff and added the gingerbread keyboard. Htc keyboard still there by default. Also added the htc lock screen back with an optional download for the vanilla lockscreen in the first post. You can try a flash over and it should work, but I recommend a full wipe, quite a bit was changed. Let me know if flash over works out if you try. Trimmed 10mb's off.

Updated to new host rom (xxbabiboi228xx' 2.4) Changed battery indicator to vertical green with percentage (gingerbread style). Theme changed a little bit here and there.
Integrated rosie right key setting (internet icon still present after change) and notification toggle widget changer (PowerControl settings)
No more bootloop on first boot (you don't have to wait to see the lockscreen twice anymore)
New clean and simple bootanimation, very nice in my opinion
bugs known:
4g settings and sprint apps are still present
Other than that, nothing else that I know of

mail and facebook sync
Just to be clear I do not intend to maintain this rom. If anyone else wants to take over from here, great! Its a really nice looking rom for sure. I only did this because it was requested and I liked the look of it. The rom runs great, check it out!

It's pretty much the theme that makes it what it is. I'd suggest checking out the evo thread for more information. Its a nice rom, runs smooth and looks great, everything is themed very nicely

@synisterwolf: Doesn't say Sprint for me, that is, if you meant the Operator Name/Logo. As br125 mentioned though, the Sprint apps should be present in the ROM. I hope that answers your question?
@Lsdozer: The easy answer to your question is, edit the file called, widget.txt, to your liking.
The file resides in system\customize I believe.
Unfortunately, the tool br125 posted, is only for the Cyanogen ROMs I think. And for the life me, I have been unable to effectively change that text file, using Root Explorer, ES Explorer, and SUManager. People swear that this is the easiest task to take care of, but for me, I have tried it all, when trying to edit from within the phone, and nothing has worked. If you consider editing the file on your computer and push it to your phone, one thing to consider is that I read somewhere that the file has to have a UNIX signature on it, for it to work. This is the reason why I was adamant to try to edit the file, while it was on my phone, well... that and because I have no idea how to push files using ADB or something to my phone... Hope this helps, please let me know if it works for you. If it does, please post what you did, thanks!
On separate notes guys, does anyone know how to restore haptic feedback to the lockscreen, when unlocking? The original ROM came with the Sense the lockscreen, as default, but I believe br125's port defaults to the Vanilla lockscreen.
Other things we can think about is:
1. Figuring out which kernels are working out well on the ROM, since it has now been ported to the Incredible.
2. Maybe getting that Gingerbread keyboard on here ?

I will take a look at gettin haptic working for you, i took out the htclockscreen when I ported it and forgot to add it back in. xxbabiboi228xx said that he will be releasing 2.4 tonight most likely and I'll have some free time tomorrow that I could possibly add in his changes/fixes.
As for kernels, any inc. sense kernel will (should) work. ie. incredikernel, heyitslou's kernel etc.
I've flashed Lou's kernel and it works great, I'm currently at 77% and been using it off the charger for about 7 hours or so
edit: the notification toggles shouldn't be hard to get the 4g outta there and add more useful things and I'll put the gingerbread keyboard in there if it works when I take a look at it. Basically I wanna clean up all the sprint leftovers and make it not seem like a port

BTW, I tried getting some of the GB keyboard flashed over into the ROM, from the forum. Maybe it's my luck, but I have never actually gotten a single keyboard flashed successfully through to recovery. Whether it was the EVO or the DInc, same results...

I recall having that happen on first boot, after reboot all worked well.

Ran fix permissions and rebooted and fixed photos and videos but still music app does not pick up music on SD.
Edit: now picking up music! Guess needed to give it more time. Maybe that will get Navigation working. Maps work fine but Nav still not.

Hello, can anyone tell me, which is the most stable ROM for my X8, and can i have a link for it? Im already using FroyoBread 2.2.9, but it keeps restarting alot, like when going on skype, receiving calls, etc... Oh and which launcher app (that stuff like app drawer and main screen.) is the best?

Ok let me explain one thing first,, There is atleast 10 more threads asking the same question
Bottom Line is there no best rom, roms are getting changed, updated, and downgraded everyday,, you have to find you own best combo,
FOR example my best combo is At the moment Gingerdx+Alfs+Jimdemtweaks+my own tweaks,, where some other people prefer Minicm7+Naa (which is also great) , also the atifroyo+ Alfs isnt a bad combo either,, you just gotta experiment roms and find it out on ur own

Having installed the "GT-N7000_SweetROM_V6.0_LSF (1)" on my GT-N7000 Note, made it happen that "S-voice", if I want to work with it, is always giving the message: "No network connection, connect to networks and try again".
Trying to make sure that it was not my phone itself that caused this problem, I unrooted my phone and reinstalled its Stock ROM (N7000XXLSZ_N7000XENLS4_XEN.zip) again. Then, everything worked like clockwork again - so the ROM probably must have caused the problem...
My question, probably to the developers of this ROM (although the Note users themselves are also invited for suggestions), is if they are familiar with this "S Voice" issue on the GT-N7000 where "GT-N7000_SweetROM_V6.0_LSF " was installed? If so, could you please tell me what to do to have "S Voice" also work with this ROM? Does it have to do with my settings or should there be an update needed to have this problem solved? I really would love to have this ROM reinstalled again and hope you can hand me a solution. :fingers-crossed:

Thank you for your reply. I have been searching the internet but all I found was that this issue was regarded to other smartphones, like the Samsung S3.
If there is a GT-N7000 user, familiar with this problem (having installed the SweetROM V6 and facing problems with S Voice afterwards) and knowing how to fix this, I really would like to hear from him with the solution he found.

All I can say is you need to read all the notes etc on the page you got the ROM from. If you had you will find this;

NOTES
SNote widgets are already set on home screens on TW launcher. They can be moved around the home screens by long press then move to screen of choice. If you delete them and then try put them up again from widget drawer they will now be wrong size. Sorry this is the best work around I have at the moment.
If you use the installed Xperia Launcher the widgets will be the right size.
Please note Snote may stay open in task manager/ active applications until you reboot. This is a known bug. FIXED BY THIS METHOD HERE
If you get SVoice "Can't get to network" error then flash fix above. This will remove S4 Svoice and replace with working one from S3.

As I promised, I would inform you if the "S Voice" fix dit its job. Well, naturally, it worked as you stated, however I now see that "S Voice" does not show a choice menu anymore. Is this the way this fix works, is this the same way that the "S Voice" is working on the S3 as well, or am I stupidly missing a setting option to have the S Voice choice menu appear again?
Also I noticed, when having the "Sweet ROM V6" fixed, inside "S Note" the virtual red recording button on the top task bar, does not activate. I was hoping this fix would deal with it as well, but it did not. Are you familiar with this problem as well and the way to fix this?
To be clear, I am not critizising at all. I just bump into small issues I would like to know if they can be solved...

This actually my first Q/A post and believe me, I've tried everything to find the right answer....I hope that you guys can push me in the right direction
Ok, here is whit what I'm struggling:
I've used the Zaiben rom, and it's really good - but some apps, like Chrome isn't really responsive like it is on CM10.1, so I swtiched to the official CM10.1.3
Everything is working fast and responsive like it should even Chrome.
But here is the thing, on Zaiben rom the button backlight of our phisical buttons would go ON only if I touched the buttons, so for an example: when I play a game, browse some websites or anything else, if I'm not touching the buttons they wont go on - and I loved it I'm not sure if it's kernel related or something else, but I really enjoyed it
Well, now I'm not CM10.1.3 and I was wondering if it's possible to have that same feature on it too ??
Does anyone know how to do it ??
I even flashed iodak v7 kernel and it's still the same...

Its rom feature. Requires lg framework to work like on stock, so noone has bothered to make it work on custom roms

for the ones that do not have the same speed like before, there are some things, everybody should consider:
1. go into recovery and delete "dalvik cache", "cache" and "battery stats" from time to time.
2. use fstrim
3. delete cache under ->settings->storage
4. delete all temorary apps -> press and hold home ->than delete all the running apps
5. set animation(s) at 0.5x
now you should feel a speed improvement.

Well, it seems that is not a priority for the devs, but they will do it (I believe on it)
A note for them:
You are making a fantastic job with your ROM for our Black, but as for usability a few notes.
- FM radio (no chance, that's acceptable, for me )
- GPS (come on, we had nice GPS with some JellyBean ROM's, Mackay ROM for ex. Thats indispensable for most users, and maybe not hard to fix as other things).
- Bluetooth (you have almost made the job, but bluetooth streaming has still problems, the music doesn't play flawless, impossible to listen a music).
For me, there are 2 things that keeping me out of this ROM (GPS and Bluetooth). But I'll keep trying every week.

black screen issue
After I install the firmware(2014-10-26) on the phone, run the phone, everything seems fine. But after when the screen is locked, I cannot unlock it , hardware button backlights is on, but there is no picture on the screen. I flash back the nightly 2014-4-13, everythings is working normally. so I confirm that' not the hardware problem .

GPS has always been causing problems on the p970. It was crap on stock and custom roms so don't get your hopes up on that one. I don't think that they will bother to try and make it work.

Oh.. Thanks. Then i keep on waiting for another OB like phone. I can't go back to ICS.. So far none of the companies made a similar phone. They either make giant phones or ugly phones ...etc. Z3 compact was a thrill when i first read about it. Amazing phone but it has a very serious problem. It can't be rooted unless bootloader unlocked. With cause phone to lose very important features....

Camera problem
It is the best ROM I have try for my P970 so far, everything work, except for the camera.
When I take a picture, the backgroud of the camera stay stock with the last picture I take. To be able to take another one, I need to close and open again the app.
Also, when I try to record, all my video have the extension .MP4.TMP and I'm unable to read it.
I try Google Camera and I got the same picture problem.
I use the nameless version : 4.4.4-20141215-p970
