I have same problem, use 2.3.3, internal device memory ~2Gb nearly full, internal USB storage still 11 GB couldn't be used for some apps. Total internal should be 16GB. How to use the internal USB storage for apps? Should I root this ? and then what ? Came to Samsung Service Center but they couldn't help at all....(

Not sure about a solution
But as a workaround, and what I do anyway, is take the sdcard out and connect it to your computer with an adaptor

Yeah that's a ball-ache. I'll stick with v4 from what I've been reading I guess.

It was hard to ask that question on Omega kernel thread?
If you read it, you would know that somebody else tried it and it is not working.

It should be like you put in USB port of your computer. It shows like another partition in phone beside internal and external SD memory.

But it seems that we do not have hardware support for it. I am just guessing . I never used it on any phone.

First of all I think that these drives meant for otg. Coz noreason for them to be here in "storage"....in phone memory.
Secondly if our phone does not have a hardware compatible with otg why to even try to port this feature to advance.

Nobody is sure whether our phone is hardware compatible for OTG or not. At the moment SGSA is not powering up the connected device. It might be also because of the code also.

Dear All,
It can happen to you. All of a sudden, you run out of room on your internal and external (SD) cards. What would you remove?
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 with an SD card of 32 Gb.
Please assist.
Kind regards,
Shiraz.

[Q] How do i move apps and data to external sd card? cm10 4.1.2

Hello
I have a i9000 with 8gb internal (Internal: 1.48gb usb: 5.63 gb and external sd: 7.39gb), now that most of the internal memory is filled with big games. move 2 sd option doesn't move the data to External SD Card.
1. How do i move the app and their data to External SD card?
2. set default location for apps (external sd card)
3. Set location of storage of camera images and videos to use external sd
SGS i9000 4.1.2 cm10 20121225
semaphore 2.6.5
thanks,
PS: Couldnt find a solution on the forum so made this, Sorry if this is solved before.

gl to sd is not a user freindly app, is there any other way to do that? now that i have installed 4.2.2 version of os, gl to sd has been reported to have bugs on 4.2
4.2.2 already has that option

I believe that 4.2.2. already has this option to move most of the apps to sd card by default. Use App2sd to see all the movable apps at once. So that you can get the idea of movable apps in one picture. Or use Advanced sd card app.
You may be knowing it, but your question has confused. Apologies if you already know about it. Just wanted to help.
Cheers! ! !
1 App2SD app by droidsail in Play Store
