[Q] Which is the best Cyanogenmod based custom rom for SGS?

I want to install a CM based custom rom. People around here lemme know which one do you think is the best one. waiting for suggestions

'Best ROM' threads are useless and pointless. ROMs are all about personal preference so nobody can find the best ROM for you because they are not you.
So try them yourself. Or just use regular CM7 like most folks do.

Just test a couple of ROMs and evaluate on your own.

I'm a little bit confused so my question is: which Rom of ICS versions is the best at this moment? I need stable Rom, without bugs

The official v30a, it's slow and the Camera config is worse then in GB but exept that its "good" enough for LG to release it. Most other have call bugs and microphone bugs.

WHICH ROM IS BEST threads are not allowed in XDA mate
this thread will be closed soon......but, let me give you an advice....try to do it yourself and you will learn such a vast amount of knowledge.....

The Best Rom?

Hi all community! I ve posted this thread because I change roms every day and I want to post a simple question. Some of these roms has bug or some of them has features that other roms doesent have.Around the development section I've found lots of roms like c- rom, cyanaosp,stock elitemovil gnexus rom, helly bean,other ports ect ect. Now I want to know what's your opinion regarding the best ROM for our beloved I9000. What do you think? Who is the best rom? Thanks

no one can truly answer that as there isn't a "best" rom it differs between users.
for one rom X is the best and for another rom Y is the best.
backup, flash and try for yourself. when you get to a rom that suits you - just enjoy

The best I tried is miui mintberry but unfortunatly the dev stoped developping it, so it stoped at gb

Altough someone will stuck on one favourite ROM and never move on from that one. :highfive:

Custom roms?

I require some help to choose a custom rom for my phone, so I wanted ask anybody about your experiences with roms.
The reason is that I really lost oversight over the amount of roms. I currently installed arragis cusmoized vanir rom and while it has more features than I can remeber to make use of, I wonder what other roms offer.
I mean it would be awesome to know whether other roms are stable and useful for everyday use. So far, I can confirm that with vanir rom, everything runs good and smooth, the phone sleeps good enough and much longer sleep time than on Stable CM release 10.2, the Voice search also works and the camera is from 4.3 and there is transparency for status bar.(Finally! I always wanted that).
I really want to know if there are roms out there better than my current one. However,I am reluctant to try them all out because I am weary of flashing and reflashing 500x times and risking losing my IMEI, which then would cause me to spend even more time. So please, any successful rom user out there,please tell me your experience.

Forget CM on this device. This community is to small for any developer waste time to develop it. You can do it yourself with some research because you have all information/tools here on Xda. Also you have one kernel for 4.4 and other devices already run 4.4 almost bugless. Just make your ROM and share to us
