Warning for blu life one x users: As I dont have blu life one x stock rom so please take backup of everything including nvram folder, Modem.img etc. The Sim unlock code is 12345678 and its same for other Blu devices as well apparently. The catch is you'll have to use it EVERY TIME you reboot the phone and you also lose 4G.

This is great stock Rom. You should try this. Before flashing this via SP Tool, take backup of IMEI by mobile uncle as it will ERASE IMEI. Restore by the same method. In WiFi It will show NVRam Error also; that can easily be fixed by the methods available on XDA Forum. (Or ask me in this thread)

15. Steps for flashing stock ROM via SP Tool:
a) You need to download Rom and SP Tool from above link.
b) Download AND Install MTK Drivers.
c) Reboot your PC.
d) Unrar S9311_MP_IN_MMX_15_flasher_user.rar and unzip SP_Flash_Tool_exe_v3.1312.0.139.zip using any Unrar tool like peazip, 7zip, winrar.
e) You will have two folder S9311_MP_IN_MMX_15_flasher_user and SP_Flash_Tool_exe_v3.1312.0.139.
f) Switch off Your Phone. Make sure you have sufficient battery charged or use laptop to do this. (Do NOT connect phone to PC)
g) Open Flash_tool.exe from folder SP_Flash_Tool_exe_v3.1312.0.139.
h) Click Scatter-Loading button, choose MT6589_Android_scatter.txt file from folder S9311_MP_IN_MMX_15_flasher_user.
i) Wait file to be added into Flash Tool.
j) Choose Option->USB Model, click USB Model.
k) Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed.
l) Click Firmware download.
m) Now connect phone.
n) Software start downloading.
o) After few minutes you will see big green circle.
p) Done. Boot your phone.
16. Rooting Method: Version Link Updated. It is working with all firmware now.

Steps:

Following precise installation instructions will not do that to your phone. Me as will as thousands have flashed the ROM without any problems. Please refer to installations instructions.

Use Hotspot shield (Google it and download) to activate a UK proxy then you can access Mega if you are having problems,or wait a bit until i mirror the update on AFH. Thanks.

hey..i just noticed... not sure if its only for me...was playing asphalt and i noticed some lag,, so checked the geekbench3 bench mark...
scores i got was single core 650(which is low) and multicore - also around 670... which is way off..... the benchmark scores give an impression that this is a single core phone thus affecting the performance....
i switched back to stock and i got scores of 700/1200....
Can you post your geekbench scores...

I'm also having problems with messed up graphics.
I followed the guide, only didn't I copy the boot.img because I can't find it in the folder.
Can you point it out where I can find the boot.img file or why my graphics are screwed?

Please read installation instructions and you will find that there is kernel included so please download this kernel and fastboot flash it.. If you are a LBL user use stock .205 kernel with recovery, and dont forget full wipes. I have played Asphalt 8 - Modern Combat 5 without any lag on the ROM and there are videos up on youtube of me playing them.

Sorry to ask but...any link where to read about lbl installation instruction for cm based roms?
I can use. 207 kernel with that rom or better. 205?

In fact almost all ROMs for M2 are 4.4.2 based
I don't think it'll boot on your 6572, 4.2.2

I used Carliv unpacking tool to unpack and repack sprout recovery and also to unpack an mtk recovery (it has two functions of unpacking and repacking, one designed for android recoveries like sprout and other one for MTK unpacking). So Credits are well done.

Can you describe the entire process you use to port the recovery? Please try to be as thorough as possible, that will shed some light on why my source built versions are not booting. TIA

Can you describe the entire process you use to port the recovery? Please try to be as thorough as possible, that will shed some light on why my source built versions are not booting. TIA

Congratulations. It booted up...but it lacks some features like: rebooting to bootloader, partition SD Card....
Still it is good it worked out
Until you add all features you can use my port as it already has them

On a serious note, Reboot to Bootloader is probably missing because I added the flag to remove it, I'll fix it. Partition SDCard is a feature for ancient devices, which the sprout (4|8) isn't. The credit for it booting up goes to you as well!

- Try fixing missing "Reboot to Bootloader" button
- Push patch to TWRP and make them do a new build

No problem. I will 21 on 1st May (damn....I hate when my birthday is on the same day with Easter and International Workers' Day.....). I am glad for your progress...and I am not aware that my thread will become obsolete... I only want to help the community . Users will only have to download the reocovery from my first post of thread or from your last post of a fully operational twrp

Instructions
Ensure you have LATEST TWRP.
Download and copy the ROM to your device external SDcard (preferred)
Wipe everything (SYSTEM,DATA,CACHE,DALVIK and preferably Internal storage all together)
Flash the ROM.ZIP
then flash the Compatible device kernel that you needed(make first boot with helios 3.6 kernel for safety,)
After the boot animation is on for 15~20 Seconds. Hold VolumeDown+power until the device reboots[/COLOR]
Setup your rom and READ the F.A.Q for more information.
To Root, Flash the latest Magisk Canary Build after a successful Boot.
