Hi everyone !
I bought my Motorola Droid 4 for ebay one week ago, and I received it just today, but it appears I got a problem with this phone.
Indeed, every time i play a game, like Angry birds, I could play like 5 minutes, and then the apps restart from the beginning, I've got the same issue with Gensoid.
Also, with the stock ICS Browser or Google Chrome, the browser refresh itself every minutes, it's really annoying when I have to write text, because it erase all I wrote before.
Even with Titanium Backup, I could delete apps, but someties It goes to the top of the list, and I have to scoll down again...
I tried several rom, like CM10.1, Eclipse, I also reflash the last Stock ICS rom, but I always have the same problem. Do you think it's a material issue ? Should I ask a refund from the ebay's seller ?
Thank you, and sorry for my bad english.

Hi All,
Just wanted to get feedback on a problem that just occured today. So I had my Nook Color for about two months now, and pretty much autonooted it the first day I got it using Autonooter 3.0. Device was 1.1 out of the box. Everything worked fine, youtube, gmail, market and gtalk.
However today, when I tried to update and download some apps via market, it would just get stuck and downloading and stay at 0% with no completion. I also noticed that my google talk would also refuse to sign in anymore. Strange thing is my youtube and Gmail still work. Any thoughts or feedback anyone?
thanks for reading!
Sounds like a google problem, but you might consider deleting the data associated with those apps if your feeling adventurous.

What do you mean by deleting the data associated with those apps?
So what do people think that:

Hello, been trying to fix my youtube issue on my G1 for awhile now. Sadly nothing working. I tried reinstalling the youtube.apk, checked for clear cache and data on youtube, Didnt have anything to wipe. Just tried clearing the data for google apps and make me resign into an account. Still nada. Try to go into youtube, I get the 401 response.
Not sure what to try or if there is a youtube alt app to use. Really formatting the phone isnt an option, over 100 apps heh.. (3 years worth) and got it tuned up nicely with all the old lucidrem stuff. =)
Just wondering what could I do to fix this? Hell is there a updated youtube I could use. Or could I delete the youtube system installed app (kinda like how Google Maps was removed from a system install so you could update it) then put a better one on?
Edit: Ok FINALLY. I decided to play around after I didnt have anything to clear. So I did some searches, even tho it gave me 401's tried to do things. Then went back in, finally it gave me the clear data option. Which somehow it worked now. =) Yay! Wonder why it didnt allow me to clear data before.. nor sign me out... least now for some miracle or due to me playing around too much... It made me finally sign into youtube vs relying on linked data.
Man, I didn't understand... Do you need any help or not? ><
Hi everyone,
First post here. I did a search for this problem but couldnt find anything...
Purchased this phone a couple of weeks ago. So far pretty good, battery life is great but one problem my handset has is that the Album constantly crashes. Every single time I open the album, within 5 seconds it will give the error message, "Unfortunately, Album has stopped". I've restarted the phone, installed all the updates and its getting very frustrating now. I cant even keep the album open long enough to send a picture via whatsapp. I've tried installing QuickPic but for some reason it hasnt 'transferred' all the media that I have and it seems most programs use Album by default.
I've attached a screenshot of the problem (which I somehow managed to upload before the 5 second mark and error came up again).
If anyone can suggest the solution to this I'd appreciate it, thanks.

Thanks for the reply. It says 'All this app's data will be deleted permanently. This includes all files, settings, accounts, databases etc'. Does this mean I will lose all my pictures/videos?
Also there are two 'clear data' options, one for storage and one for cache. Were you referring to one in particular, or both?
Thanks again.
Clear data and clear cache
From here
And no. You will lose no photos or videos which are on your internal storage/sdcard.
Thanks for the suggestion. I did lose a few pictures, but not sure where exactly they were stored.
The crashes stopped for a few hours but has since returned.
Hey guys,
I hope you can help me with this.
My girlfriend has been using the HTC One Mini 2 for a while now, but about a month ago these ads started appearing at random places, the home screen in other apps, etc.
We've tried multiple ad blockers, airpush solutions, factory resets, opting out, etc.
After setting up the phone, about 24 hours later the ads started appearing again. We can click 'em away with ease, but it's really annoying.
Unfortunately I'm not able to post an image, because I'm a new user, but it's always a Google ad and it's about as big as a row of icons on the homescreen. It always appear as an overlay, but never in the notifications.
Hope someone can help me with this.
Thanks.

Take a screenshot while holding the Power button and the home key and post it here
Patching using Lucky Patcher, block ads on device and Turn google ads OFF. L.patcher will modify system hosts file to block all those crap ads. And it works for almost every devices I used before.
Give it a shot. Wish u luck!
Sidenote, it's root required.

This is one of those new malwares that cant be removed with a simple factory reset, you have to do flash the whole firmware again, if you have TWRP its easier..
You need to see if you can uncheck the restore apps after reset option in Back & Reset, if you cannot disable it, then the above is the only solution..

look like its one of the installed apps that's causing that. make sure they all are from play google and not running background advertising.
Thanks for the replies, guys.
Unfortunately I'm not able to post a screenshot yet, because I haven't got 10 posts yet.
I've tried rooting the phone, but that was quite a pain in the ass. I got stuck at installing TWRP, which still causes problems today with the phone freezing while booting and I have to use the "bright light" solution to reboot the phone. TWRP told me it had installed SuperSU, but it's nowhere to be found on the phone, so it's still not rooted.
It's almost impossible it's one of the apps, because we did a full erase of the phone. She'd never install apps from outside Google Play anyway.

check if the app granted the permissions it needs
Hello, thank you for your quick answer but unfortunately I have already looked for the permissions... I even gave all permissions to all apps and nothing changed, still FC for almost of them. The only app that do not have FC is google play. And chrome. And telephone and that's all. I cannot' even send texts no more!
