Received OTA Gingerbread update! But root doesn't work, any info?

I just got a G2x yesterday, and the OTA just came this morning, and I tried to root with SuperOneClick but it doesn't work, is there any info on how to root gingerbread or do i have to revert back? (And yes I'm on my sensation cuz I ain't set up all my apps on my G2x yet, didn't feel like setting up xda app just to post this thread, cuz I'm trying to root it first)

Ok thanx, my bad 2x owners, kinda off subject, but did the 2x have the same problems G2x owners did, because I want the 2x OS on my phone if it's not to buggy, not really a fan of stock android

And the gingerbread update is coming in.......who knows. So if you did switch (if that's possible ) you'd be waiting a while for the bug fixes

i don't understand why LG think G2 is more important to get GB update than optimus 2x...

Simply put I think the network forced them into it. Over here there are less users over many more networks that don't have the same clout as those in the USA

it's that because of the court? so G2x will have the first GB update rather O2x users

Gingerbread update coming November 28 in EUROPE

Good news for All LG Optimus users! Looks like LG officially confirmed Gingerbread for all Optimus users, including Optimus black. AS for OUR phone, it will arrive November 28, 2011 in Europe.

Not that impressive but it does have kind of a cool concept... I also heard that LG is upgrading the optimus 2x to ICS and is planning to update more "high end" LG phones. Hopefully that will include the revolution!

LG: all will go to IS except 2X ?!

Lg will upgrade all her mobiles to ice-cream sandwiches but 2X is directly rejected. Is that a joke from LG? 2X is a flagship product, just remind.

The official LG ICS update will contain a couple of these features.
If you're looking for something specific you need to post exactly what you're looking for.
Oh and it will probably be possible to port apps from the LG Optimus G to other phones - like the port of the LG UI 3.0.

Just watched the video and some features are amazing. Love the overlay notes while dialing

What u mean is: is it possible to make a full rom (like your amazing pa cm10), but with all the features of the amazing lg optimus G, so it is like we have the software of the G on our device.
It would be a great idea to develope a rom with the features of the optimus G
Or....
To make THE BEST rom on the lg p990
With the features of the lg optimus g, sgs3 and other great ideas of other.devices
