Tethering proplem gb 2.3.3

I have a tethering proplem since i installed semaphore 2.5 iam running gingerbread 2.3.3 stock when i enable 3g tethering gives me error but when i enable tethering with out 3g works fine olz help as possible as u can thank you all

Did you try another kernel as well? Maybe it's a release issue. You could try a newer build like gb2.3.6.
It could be a modem issue too.

[Q] JB ROM or KERNEL witch work with gps

Hello everyone i'm used a lot of roms with jb sdk but i can't get gps working without internet. Kernel i'm using it's semaphore. Is it possible to fix it?

try faster gps
Edit : didn't read the without internet part
I thought you weren't getting a fix on your location

Try FasterFix ans GPSTest to locate the problem.

regarding bandwidth

hi all......I flashed my stock captivate to helly bean and my signal is dropping constantly and since I stay in India ....is there any way to get proper signals ?......please help me out ....if I need to change modem please recommend me one ......I was on vibrant before and used kb5 modem which had never run into any sort of problem ........now I'm on i9000xxjvt now ...thanks for helping

Happened to me too.
I initially flashed KG3, but right now I'm using the one that comes with LANIGHT 8.0 (totally recommend that rom btw) it's KC1 I think it works a bit better (might be just my impression).

I flashed 3 different modems and now I'm getting good signals but .......when I'm calling some one there are saying my voice is not at all clear .....this happens when someone calls to me also but I can hear properly .......I initially taught rom problem I updated to hellybeans latest one and same problem .......its killing me now I'm on my gingerbread stock kk4 modem .......should I Odin back to stock or flash another rom?

If your rom is jellybean, ics, cm, miui, or similar then u need to use i9000 modems for those. See this thread... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=16843698

omg tried 6 of them one Is working thanks dude ......

had the same problems.
somehow after several flashes my modem starts working on 1800 MHz band only.
flashed kk4 which enabled 900 MHz band but have me voice glitches...
then I flashed ugk3 modem and finally both 900 and 1800 MHz bands are working now with nice voice quality.
also i do recommend LaNight ROM too

[SOLVED] [Q] [ROM][4.1.2 JB]Ultimate N7000 XXLSC JellyBean 4.1.2 v5.1 wifi problem

Hey..
ok so I've noticed that right after I started using my Note with the Ultimate Rom installed, the wifi connection has become both weaker in signal perception, and MARKEDLY slower than it was before I did the upgrade, and much slower than other devices connected to the same wifi.
I must point out that I have not noticed any negative change in the 3G/H+ connection. That is working just fine.
Has anybody else faced this problem? and can anyone help me with a solution or an idea?

Am on XXLSC V5.1 and i cant find this problem with WI-FI.
But sometimes Wi-Fi cant connect and i need to turn it off and then on again.
Well i dont know what wrongs with your note...

Hi I'm using the same rom and my WiFi is perfect which kernel did you install it with you should use Philz cwm6 if you used this kernel try to reflash the kernel but make sure or backed up delet catch and delvik as well should be fine

I have used this ROM for quite sometime now, but have not faced anything like this.

[Q] WiFi not working on SuperNexus 3

Hi,
I fleshed SuperNexus 3 Bulid 1 ROM on my GALAXY Note GT-N7000 and now my WiFi not working and can't connect to any wireless router. Please help me. I don't like to downgrade to JB 4.1.2 again

I haven't used SuperNexus for quite some time now. But what you could try to do is to reflash the ROM after a clean install (formatting /system /data /preload) cache and dalvil cache, all while on a safe kernel. Another suggestion would be trying different modems.

First, I flashed SuperNexus 4.1.2 and everything was OK. Then, I flashed SuperNexus 4.2.2 and finally 4.3, but Wi-Fi not working. When I see the screenshots of other users with this ROM, it seems that they haven't this problem and this issue isn't reported. Is this problem related to my kernel?

ROM: Official JB 4.1.2 XXLT9
Kernel: PhilZ-cwm6-XXLT9-ORA-5.11.2-signed

On the official jb too, you have a problem with Wifi?

No. On the current ROM everything is perfect.

I solved the problem on SuperNexus 4.2.2 by the WiFix application:

But this solution does not work on 4.3

What exactly doesn't work with your WiFi, doesn't it turn on and can't connect to your AP or you can't switch it on at all?

My Wi-Fi turns on, but does not show my wireless network. On 4.2.2, by using the WiFix application I solved this problem and changed my country code, but this solution does not work on 4.3.
