I just noticed today that Dodo has expanded their Nexus 7 offerings. I ordered the classic case.

Can't tell the difference between classic and solid besides the color and price.
I think its a difference between a black exterior vs. a colored exterior. Both seem to be made of cloth.

Update: Although the site says to allow 3-4 weeks for processing I was shocked to receive my tracking number yesterday after ordering my case Friday night. As of this morning the package has already been processed through the sorting facility.
the hardcover seems to be the only one making sense in terms of quality and price (yes, i had a dodo case for my iPad4), but i wish they have a magnetic lock instead of the strap.
The case was delivered today. I will work on putting together a review to share.
It bears repeating that the company's site states to allow 3-4 weeks, however this case was ordered last Friday night. Quite a speedy turnaround.

Stopped in at the local Barnes & Nobles while walking off a heavy dinner. They have all the Kate Spade and Jack Spade cases for 75% off original priced at 65, 75, and 125$. Got an awesome canvas style Jack Spade for 17$, cheaper than standard B&N cases and very stylish. Definitely worth checking out if your a stylish man, or your in the dog house and your wife loves her Nook as much as you do.
Thanks for the H-U! I've been looking to get something a bit more robust than the nylon sleeve I've been using
Only on nook, no nc on sale

My store had the nook color cases on sale, but only the Kate And Jack spade collection.

Mine just has the original nook cases on sale.
I haven't been in since I first got my NC about a month ago they only had the Jack/Kate Spade cases on sale for the original nook.
There were many really good looking cases and I have become increasingly dissatisfied with my Lautner Cover in Night.
I was just in my local BN yesterday and they had the NC Kate Spade cases on sale along side the original nook.
too bad i just went there yesterday...

Yeah, I went there the other day with my girlfriend to pick up a case for my Nook Color and saw this sale. Was only for the regular Nook. Still a great sale! She got herself a new one (she has a Nook) for ~$33 ($125 normal)!
I just got some regular blue cover with some book-related quote on the front. I'm satisfied.
Hey Folks;
Just a heads-up that tpu-cases.com is accepting pre-orders for their matte black and matte smoked cases for our Bionics with the extended battery covers. Expected shipping date is between the 27th & 28th October. Yes,... Tomorrow or Friday. It is $12.90. Just got done ordering mine.
I am not anyway affiliated with or have any vested interest in TPU-CASES.COM. Only a Bionic owner wanting to pass the word.
Take care,
Tony
Thanks, just ordered one.
Here's the link straight to them.

Just got mine and have to say this is a nice case with at a great price. It looks good and offers a lot of protection. All ports etc are available and it adds minimal bulk, fits very snug. I'd take a pic but my phone's my only camera! Highly recommend. Again, I appreciate tpu-cases.com updating us in a different thread. More companies should be as pro-active as them!
Will be ordering mine on Tuesday

Just received mine after ordering mid-week. Fits great and I am jonesing to have some actual battery life now. It's not Otterbox-quality coverage, but good enough for office use.
Mine came today after ordering Wednesday. Fits nicely, smooth not sticky, all ports and buttons are open. Very nice case, well worth the $12.90.
Been waiting for this. Just ordered mine...
Received mine a few days ago and loving it. Great material.
Just received mine; awesome fit-and-finish, and am happy to report that it it fits the cardock (with the cardock insert removed). Excellent! =)
Received mine today, couldn't be happier with the product. Everything I wanted in an extended case, nothing I didn't...

Ordered Thursday, received Monday.
Ordered day before they started shipping any, got three days later, so actually two days.
Love the case no issues with either the desktop or the car docks.
Does this fit over the wireless charging back plate?
ordered after 3, and still got same day shipping, it's on it's way to me already
Probably gonna give this a try...been wanting the extended battery but not willing to give up my defender case
It arrived today, frickin awesome delivery time. Took less than 48 hours to get to me.
Fits like a glove

Just got this info off the Portenzo Facebook Page! Pricing has not been announced yet but I'll be looking forward to it!

I may be blind (must stop doing that naughty stuff ), but I couldn't find a link to the N7 product range from the portenzo main page .
Anyway, here's a direct link: https://shop.portenzo.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=bookcase-for-nexus
Look pretty stunning, not too bulky. BUT not cheap! Particularly if you're shipping internationally.
I think I may get one...
/edit: Notes/warning
1. Introductory offer starting at $39.95 so 10 bucks off.
2. I've read some pretty negative reviews about delivery time and customer service (from iCrap discussions) - a month or more to get the case, company deletes negative reviews and warnings about delivery times etc. So. Premium may come at a price that is more than just dollars!
edit2: Oh dear: Not what you'd expect for such a premium product: http://insofar.org/blog/portenzo-ipad-case/
Aww man it doesn;t have all the options like the ipad ones :|
Great find. I was looking at some cheaper cases but nothing really looked worth the money. Ordered mine tonight, hope it ships soon!
Since it has the smart cover magnets, I am in for one.

That was an interesting review. I love the book style cover and I guess after a year the case starts to wear out. I've read mostly positive reviews about their cases and only complaints really was about shipping time issues. Either way I think I'm going to give them a shot. Just emailed them about prices for the other style cases.
For some one who ordered it already, what options did you select and what was the final total?

I've had a portenzo case back when the Ipad 2 just got released.
Amazing product my case is still intact today, im totally going to get one for my nexus
wow these cases are expensive. I might invest i'm not sure yet...
Nice looking case and a little cheaper than Treegloo.
I think the mark of a good company is not necessarily an excellent product, but what they do when things go wrong. It seems that this is where Portenzo falls a bit short. And a 90 day warranty? If you're pitching something as a 'premium' product, and you're only prepared to offer 3 months on that superior workmanship, what are you saying to your customers ?
I don't have a lot of respect for iSheeps - they're generally little lambs being led to the slaughter with wallets held in front, and I'm just a bit wary that this is a company that takes this into account :silly:.
Having said that, I have ordered one - it's the kind of case I'm looking for, so I'm going to take a chance. Will review as soon as it arrives (and also comment on speed of production & delivery). They claim that they'll be shipping the first ones by Friday, but I assume these will be a batch that they've pre-made and it'll be to people who just happen to have ordered what they predict will be the most popular format...
Probably gonna end up keeping treegloo. Treegloo looks slightly nicer. Also has a yellow cloth inside to protect the screen.
I'd be all for Portenzo if they had a composition book style for the Nexus 7. I'd also like a better warranty.

I emailed too. Heard back today that there will not be a composition case. Bummer! I'm looking at GT 7.7 cases now since the dimensions are similar. May give Zenus a look.
I have a Kayscase coming as well as screen protector. There's also a chance I'll stop there. I can get a little case crazy. You should have seen me with my now sold iPad. I was obsessed.
Would like to see a better design, with magnetic strip enabled rather than a $10 added on feature.
too bad no grey cover.
I can't make up my mind between treegloo and portenzo.

I didn't see any threads discussing cases/screen protectors for the Note 3. Worth such a big screen and price tag I feel it's ab pretty valid discussion. I am currently using the black Incipio Watson Folio case. It was my pick of the 2 options att offered when I bought it Friday morning. Along with the Moshi I visor XT screen protector. Which was also 1 of 2 options available.

I let GayT&T soak me for a rapey $47.56 for a BodyGuardz Pure. Is comparable to the Spigen GLAS.Tr, but the Tr doesn't come out till the 10th, and i needed protection pronto.
Is a piece of glass that sticks to your screen. hardly noticeable. Very smoothy. I am very pleased. doesn't appear that it will begin to lift around the edges or anything. It is slightly corny up at the very top, it almost appears to have a negative taper that is beginning to collect slight amounts of pocket lint, but nothing really.
Sales on the Pure don't include MOH hardness ratings, etc. does seem inferior to spigen with higher price tag to boot. first day in the store was yesterday

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using xda app-developers app
I've been an invisashield user for many years and yeah it will get crazy like that but not that noticeable if at all when the screen is on. It will correct itself over time but continued use of the s pen it won't ever really have time to heal. I don't think it's that bad at all myself but that's just an opinion.

Im without a case myself at the moment too. AT&t had one really cheap and sad back plate case (made of cheap plastic). So I am waiting for something to be released, the AT&t guy did say he had some memos saying Samsung was working on one, just sad it didn't drop on release. But I guess I can wait, at least until I drop my phone and then scream "Damn it if only I had a case!"
I just picked up a Nexus 10, and wanted to get a tri-fold book cover for it. But to my surprise, they don't exist.
In fact, I cant find any book covers for this device besides the official one:
https://play.google.com/store/devices/details?id=nexus_10_cover_gray&hl=en
Why have no 3rd party case makers taken advantage of the removal back, and made more book covers for this device?
Sadly, because this tablet has not been a sales-breaker. In fact, there are rumours that say that Google will not keep the full size format in next gen.
Apart from the official one, you can check this page, where you can see some options, and then search them on amazon/ebay:

eBay!!
Hiya,
I just bought my nexus 10 and while waiting for delivery I went on eBay to get a book cover..
Quite a few from U.S. suppliers, Quality makes, delivery makes it a tad expensive for us down under,
Several from the U.K. quite cheap, and the usual offerings from Hong Kong and Mainland China.
I bought from the U.K. cause mail from China takes wayyyy to long and things get lost...
( an sometimes thing's arrive safely and reasonably within time.) But you never know..
So hop on EBay if its available to you, or Amazon probably have them to.
Kogan's also have nice book covers for N10, $25...
Go check them out...
Love in my N10, my old TF201 just had to be replaced...get on it
I like this one:
http://amzn.com/B00A9G985S
The 3rd party ones are bulky and heavy. I think I might bite the bullet and get the official one even though I can only find it in red and it doesn't double as a stand :/
I bought this a year ago and absolutely love it. Unfortunately I waited about 3 weeks for it to be shipped and haven't seen them for sale lately. If you can find one I highly recommend it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/YOOBAO-Slim...-Cover-Case-For-Google-Nexus-10-/261178402054

This is the one I picked up. Also come in a number of colors and designs but very thin and functions just like the google branded one without the lack of back protection

I got bored of waiting and picked official one. All this poetic/moko/yoobao seems to be the same crap for me, only 3 models: the trifold one, the tristand and the one with a holster.
