Hello,
I bought a galaxy mini for my girlfriend's birthday, the version with a slightly better processor..After spending hours on it the battery was very drained and needed recharging. Problem is, after it went under a certain threshold, the phone blocked all network related operations : No incoming/outgoing calls and no SMS. I read this is normal, but when she plugged in the charger it didn't fix the issue and I told her to reboot the phone, which did the trick. Is there any way to fix this ?
edit : by the way, do all the roms for s5570 work on s5570I as well ?
edit 2 : ok so which rom is the most stable for this device ?
Don't even think about it ...
That 2 have the different hardware ...
if u flash the 5570 ROM on 5570i , phone will brick ...

Hi friends,
i am new to the galaxy s i9000, and i have a few questions.
first of all its the battery life.
my battery is draining very fast, under one day without wifi, gps on,
display brightness at lowest level and underclocked max 800 mhz.
even a 3500 mah battery brings no change.
i am not an heavy user, the most time the phone is in standby.
only 2 calls per day (5 min), 2 or 3 sms a day and sometimes
a little game for 10 min.
so i think the battery life is inexcusable.
can it be solved by a custom rom, or will this change nothing?
and if its possible, which rom should i take?
i need nothing special... the best is a lite rom with only
the "must" tools on board.
here is my current phone status:
Android 2.2 Froyo Build XWJS8
Baseband i9000XXJPY
Kernel 2.6.32.9
i have flashed some other phones before: samsung galaxy 3 i5800, HTC Touch Diamond, HTC Trinity, so i am not new to flashing.
sorry for the bad english, i dont write every day in english.
thx so far,
Oliver

I have no issue even if the charge level is down to 1 %. I run Cassie's 14.8 Jelly Bean rom.
You may try to downgrade to ICS to see if it still blinking but I think that your battery is dying.
any another opinion ?

Buy a new battery - it's a normal behavior - you'll find a lot of posts here related to this - and:
I made that experience myself. Bought a new (exactly 2 new batteries) and everything is ok again.
Hi guys,
I have the Razr I since 3 days now, i orderd it via ebay on a german website. I really like the phone, its amasing fast and works really great. I've compared it with the Galaxy SIII and Xperia Z from friends, and the Razr I wins on almost every thing we testet (loading webpages, opening apps, scrolling etc).
But since i use the phone, there's something wrong with the battery (i think!). The phone just randomly shuts down for about 40 till 60 times a day, my record for keeping it on is about 1 hour.
This is what I know for now, by observing:
- The phone is working correctly (on of off, doesn't matter)
- The battery gives an empy signal (but isn't)
- Due to the empty signal Android thinks the phone is empty and starts the automaticly shutdown process
- When the phone is off, i can just turn it on and the battery level is where it was before
- This cycle happens randomly, in 1 minute til 1 houre...
What i've done so far:
- Searched on google, a few similar problems, but no solutions
- Caliberate the battery
- Factory reset
- Disable apps that may couse a restart (but i don't think its a software issue tough)
- Playing with different settings, profiles etc
All those things doesn't change the randomly showing cycle that i've wrote above.
I also send an e-mail to the company where i orderd the device, so i maybe can return it and get an other one.
By the way, the phone was on JB when i received it.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? Or is it just what my own conclusion is, a broken battery?
I hope someone can help thiking about my problem!
Cheers
Could be a bad flash...
A friend got almost the same problem with his SII. Or faulty battery
Check with that company and demand for a change

Hi! I recently adquired the O4x and have been using it with my sony smartwatch 2 on bluetooth.
However i have noticed that the bluetooth on this device drains the battery much more than on my previous device, the Samsung S2 LTE.
If I connect the smartwatch in the morning i usualy get like 60% of battery left by lunch whereas on the S2 LTE I would still have around 80%...
I have tried disabling the bluetooth visability but battery usage remains the same.
Also, i'm on rooted stock 4.0.3 rigth now. Do you think I should upgrade to 4.1.2 ? I´m asking because I read that the O4x gets very laggy and with low RAM after update... I dont want to flash any roms yet...
Thanks

AFAIK it will only get better if you upgrade to 4.3 or further, because there's Low Energy Bluetooth that uses considerably less battery (as I've read, I don't own any Bluetooth component to try it).
Hi all! I have a galaxy s3 LTE! I flashed the Galaxy Project v19.01 KitKat 4.4.2! When the phone turned on! I saw display glitches and problems on my screen! I flashed stock 4.3! When the phone is charged (more than 20%) is works okay! But when the battery decreses to less than 20% I get the same problem display problems and then the phone shut down and wont turn on only when plugged into the charger! Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance
Maybe that isn't connected with the rom itself but your battery worn out coincidentally with the rom changing.
If you have a chance, try other battery (from friend, family).
