[Q] Download link for Recovery-Only SBF for Milestone 2.1 is down

I rooted my phone (Milestone) with the SuperOneClick method, but it seems that that isn't enough to flash custom ROMs, and I need to use OpenRecovery to flash custom ROMs. I'm trying to follow this guide but the link for Recovery-Only SBF for Milestones with firmware 2.1 is down. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of that? Thanks

Why would you want to use the deprecated version? That guide needed an update more than a year ago already .

Yes, if you have Samsung Galaxy Pop/Mini. Odin v4.38 is a must.
But, I see you have I9003, which device is it? I think you should stay away from the post in these forums as you might brick your device if you follow these steps/solutions. Flashing wrong firmware in wrong device will surely lead to a bricked device.

1.ya, its work so does the euro too. (i from asia )
2. ya, its official n originally from samfirmware or sampro is just the same one.
3.for your own benefit, if u dont like the upgraded version stay with the old if not u can give a try.. above all is not wrong..

the official version for EU is still 2.3.4 KQG build so no, this is far not official...
you can check this with checkfus downloader which uses kies servers

[N8000][OTA XXBLJ9]Official OTA stock Jelly Bean

I do not take credit for any of this, I simply wanted to point out that it is indeed possible to upgrade manually to the JB OTA ROM instead of waiting for it to be released OTA in your region

I'm pretty sure it only works with N8000 so far, being that it carries an N8000 kernel inside I'm not sure if one is able to replace the kernel and make it run. I figure it would take a lot of modding.

Also interested to see if anyone has tried it on a 8013.

I have the beta kernal running on my 8013 on JB without any problems. I just had to set the scaling on ondemand and I limited the min to 50MHz and the max to 1500MHz based on previous user experiences. I did have a couple of random reboots but the ondemand and min setting fixed them for me.

Dude, you dont find any update for Advance on Jelly Bean. Only Russia and Serbia have that update official.
So, if you want Jelly Bean you must flash a FirmWare from one of these country. If not, wait for Samsung release an update for you country.

i used odin3 v3.07 and last Firmwares [Serbia] and USB dirver above
and i got problems

Did you follow every steps correctly? If you have kies installed, did you close it? Did you wait until it says PASS?

Yes you can use it. Also your warranty still intact as you only flash original firmware via odin. This will not increase your binary count.
