THIS INFROMATION IS BASED ON MY TEST ON LG THRILL V20P BASED ROM:
WHICH ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS ASSOCIATED WITH COMPATIBILITY OF O3D ROMS ON THRILL?
Well the answer for this are:
i.kernel
ii.baseband
most of software component of O3D and thrill are identical except the thing that thrill 4G uses ATT kernel and O3D uses O3D LG kernel.As for baseband my thrill phone has V20P baseband but O3D has V21E,V21D.... etc.
HOW TO KNOW WHICH ROM WITH BASED ON SPECIFIC BASEBAND IS COMPATIBLE FOR THRILL(v20p BASE)?
If there had been custom ROM with V20P baseband on O3D then surely it would fit on Thrill perfectly but I have not found ROM based on V20P,however custom ROM based on V21E of O3D perfectly fits on thrill.
HENCE,I HAVE FOUND ALMOST ALL O3D ROM BASED ON V21E BASEBAND ARE FULLY COMPATIBLE WITH LG THRILL.
SO WHAT ABOUT KERNEL COMPATIBILITY THEN?
When you use LG optimus 3D V21E based custom ROM on LG thrill the kernel compatible on those ROM of O3D also give no error and are compatible on V21E ROM installed on thrill.(however there is a exception on V21E based promethius ROM on thrill,custom promethius kernel isn't compatible on promethius ROM but promethius ROM with integrated kernel is compatible with thrill)

Just one thing.
All basebands work on the LG Thrill. I flashed them all when a friend let me borrow his.
It's the kernel that usually messes up things.

well,lestat this thread isn't related to which baseband work for Thrill,I meant to describe which ROM is compatible when flashed over stock V20P based Thrill baseband & V21E based O3D ROM can be flashed over stock V20p baseband,IF thrill user want to try out other custom O3D ROM based on V21A,V21D etc..then they should first flash these baseband before flashing ROM,thats it....

All o3d roms work u just need to flash a kernel that is compatible with 20p

Oh. I was just stating that all basebands work.
So every O3D ROM works on the LG Thrill.

So since Im currently on V20p and say I want to flash ThiaiZ O3D V2.8 GB, I dont have to flash V21E and the thread states?
If thats the case thats pretty sweet.
I haven't tried that particular rom but other 21e roms have worked on my 20p baseband and the 21e kernels have worked in thrillseeker which is 20p based.

If you're on V20P, you'll have to flash the ROM and flash a V20P compatible kernel or you will not get any data connection.
Ahh. Or you can just flash V21E.

let me explain... i have a Thrill but as i am Brazilian and we had no 4G here i flashed O3D brazilian baseband and i used stock LG brazilian ROM until now... so i have no 4G just H in my connections...
BUT the brazilians companies r forced by the government to use 4G in 2013 beggining... some promisse us earlier implementation than this, so i want to be back to 4G signal... i had some problems downloading V20P so i tried , first, V21E... flashed it and installed Accura 3D Max ROM. I am loving this system, really good but i see in LG softwares i still have P920H model... and i am sad as i am not sure V21E has 4G connection... my plan was to flash V20P (if not broken as the downlaod was really hard to get... if u have a good link for it please, i'll thank i so much so i can download a trusty version of the file with good large connection). So my plan was to flash V20P and use same Acura Rom... with same kernel OC1.2 from the ROM... is it possible?

yah you don't need to flash V21E<I m also on V20P and flashed several V21E ROMS as like ThiaiZ O3D V2.8 and I found no any negative issues.:laugh:

Don't worry dude just flash Promethius thrill custom ROM it is V20P based and has 4G capabilities as it is build based on stock thrill ROM.Go this thread and download it.Yes this ROM has option for choosing other languages too.Follow all instruction properly on this thread and flash the promethius thrill custom ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1960787 .I am currently on this ROM no any issue till now.HIT THANX IF I HELPED

Try it mate....sure it won't boot.But make a backup of your present Rom before you try.
For your info v20q is GB
V30 is ICS.
O2X with Magical ROM and supersonic kernels from my buddies
It won't work. Such kernel was coded for GB, while V30B is ICS.

Actually I'm using V20S baseband, but I don't know if is better install v30b baseband.

try flashing v30b baseband ,, if its still there switch to stable cm10

Update: the only version I could find is from this post. I confirm that it is a modified build if TESCO_v2.9++ 3.0.88 and it works on ICS 4.0.4 AOSP (CM9 20130226 UNOFFICIAL by Szezso).
