Phone won't turn on without taking the battery off first - LG Optimus 4X HD

Hello,
I got my new P880 few days ago. I rooted it and upgraded to 10H.
I noticed there're two strange "bugs":
1. when I restart the phone it goes off and won't turn on. I need to take the battery off and put it on again to turn the phone on.
2. at least once the phone turned off by itself and wouldn't turn on without taking the battery off and putting it on again. after I managed to turn the phone on I noticed the battery was at 10% so it could be an explanation to why the phone turned off, but I can't understand why I had to take the battery off (and then putting it on) to make it turn on again.
Any ideas?
Thank you all for your help.

I noticed that few days ago, it's bug of battery management or something like that. When it happened first time battery was about 25% so I had pulled out battery and connected my phone to pc, after start batter was on 50% ..so I did made calibration and now it's ok

Well, I'm happy to know my phone/battery isn't defective
What app did you use to calibrate the battery?
Thank you.

Try this
charge ur phone 100%
reboot to recovery(cwm)
delete battery status.bin
unplug charger
done.
Dont forget hitting thanks......

No app, it will suffice to fully discharge battery 2 times and when the battery is on 100%, pover off your phone, pull out battery and put it back and that's all.

I tried reboot to recovery but without success (tried both vol up + power button and vol down + power button). It looks like the phone starts and then shuts off again, and again the only way to turn it on is by taking the battery out. Strange.

To boot into clockworkmod (cwm) you have to install the recovery given by dexter and boot it from the app...
There is no way to boot with vol-/vol+/power button...

You are wrong. The phone have stock recovery system! Although only with wipe options but have it.

Looks like it didn't work. After restarting my phone I have to take the battery out.
If I turn the phone off and then on it works fine.

It looks like it does the same as you suggested.
Still testing if it helps.
Edit:
The phone still won't boot after a restart (without taking the battery out first).

Update:
Downgraded to 10A and did a factory reset. Now the phone restarts without taking the battery out. Didn't root yet.
Is it possible that rooting the phone causes the problem?
Edit: Spoke too soon. Just tried to restart again the had the same problem.

Did as instructed, plus left the phone to charge for a few hours.
The first two restarts worked fine. Than I made a phone call and tried to restart again. The third time got the same problem.
I'm starting to think the problem is with the battery.

| Did a hard reset/factory reset using SmartFlashTool and still no luck. The phone keeps powering off (as if you were pulling out the battery forcefully from the back) after booting for a min or so when plugged in. When on battery alone, the phone wont boot at all, it just flashes the LG logo for a few times and dies (like turning a lamp on and off). I'm running out of ideas :S
Did you drop it or did it get wet? Is the Download Mode screen being shown for a longer periode of time, or how were you able to use smartflash?

| Nope, Nope, Nope, I was able to use SmartFlash just fine. When plugged into a power source, the phone did a factory reset and I was able to boot into froyo for a minute or so, and then it dies (like when you're pulling the battery out forcefully).
Try the following:
Download any kdz file, download cwm injector (look into my noob how to post 3), inject cwm, flash it with smartflash, then you should be in CWM, do a data, cache and dalwik wipe, flash superuser.zip (should be on your SD card of course) and try to boot again. If it still doesnt boot, I have no idea, of what is wrong with your phone...
I think it's hardware related. A link betwen power supply and motherboard.

I think it's a hardware problem too because smartflashing it to original rom still won't solve the problem. Guess I have to take it back to the store that I bought it from.
Try using it on USB alone with battery removed if its working normal, then it could be a faulty battery. If you can lend the same battery to test would be better than buying one then realizing thats not the problem but could be hardware problem.
Hmm, had u followed the correct steps about using smartflashtool?
Change the battery?

You can blindly charge for 2and half hours nonstop. (though phone says its charged)

Just have a start from beginning.
Flash stock.
Root and install CWM recovery
And again install a custom rom.
This will be a last try.
Should fix all problems.

So you can go to download mode, but can't turn on the phone or go to recovery coz you only get the vibration, which suggest (ofc, lol) the phone won't even properly boot?
Everytime my battery is near zero and the phone shuts itself down and near total death, that's what happens. It just vibrates but nothing happen. IMHO, I don't think that you're facing bootloop or anything.
In your case, you said that you charged it and by the time you wakes up it's a goner. I would recommend trying a new battery for now. Your current one might be dead as in broken or something. Trying a new battery won't hurt.

I have the same problem, but a little different. I've thinked that was battery problem as you, i've bought a new battery, but nothing is changed. I was running JetMod. When my phone has low battery and than shut down i try to recharge it but doesn't work anything! if i try to turn it on it only vibrates (with black screen, nothing happened). The only thing that can i do is go to download mode, but for a few time becouse after 10 sec it shut down, so i think that it has not been charged.. I observe, when it was alive, when i try to charged it, that not many time he started recharging, i don't know why.. i've tried different plugs or with computer but it works only when it wants to..

I don't know why, but i think is governor ( i use no frill cpu ), i tried some days ago to replicate the issue, changed governor to pegasusq , after some hours i plugged the power cable, but phone don't charge.( the power icon show me the battery in charge but % don't moving ).
Rolled to ondemand and interactive governer and problem go away.
I had only a good luck finding the solution.
This with cocore kernel 4.4 with 5 i haven't try... but is a very good kernel.
