[solved by myself!] Network unavailable to one particular provider

This is some unique problem i have got.
Whenever i put in any sim from Network A (tata docomo, india) i dont get signal.....it says network unavailable.
But if i put the same sims in another phone i get signal (so obviously not network fault).
I get signal if i insert sim of any other network other than network A.
This happened when i was changing roms (was on v28g then went to stock froyo and then to stock GB without prob). I tried reflashing roms, changing BB/RIL NVflash, smart flash...but no help...I dont know what the problem is...please help me, This problem is only for one particular network provider.... Currently on CM10 fixed by marsgod, with wifi fix by beenee, with default RIL with su660 30c BB.

EDITED: My IMEI or SIM are not blocked by network....saw it with my own eyes at customer centre...
Please help....

it seems my imei number somehow got changed....i solved it by restoring my original imei number by this method...too bad i cant thank myself!! :laugh:

Here is for custum ROMS
Changing IMEI on engineering sample
1. install Better Cut 3.3.apk
2. Connect phone by USB
3. Select Port Settings -> Select CP USB from Better Cut Widgets
4. Start hyperterminal, in COM settings select same port like in devide manager -> LGE mobile USB Serial Port, 115200
5. Type AT if response is not OK, change port number
6. Type at%imei, it should display your current IMEI
7. Type at%imei=x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x , where x,x,x... is your orginal IMEI number
8. Reset

[Q] Mini 2 network unlock problem

HI All!
I have got a problem: I have a Galaxy Mini 2. I do a network unlock for this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2205945
And the problems: When i do it this , my phone was unlocked. But when i put my simcard the phone not join for any network. The network signal is blink a few second, and after disapperd.
The imei is ok, a probally some other roms and etc...
This is the last status:
Rom. S6500XXLD2
Kernel: 2.6.38.6 [email protected]#1
My original carrier is Vodafone Hungary (216 70 )

Anyone have got nv_data.bin backup at old security? I read in a forum, mini 2 has got a new security and this methods is not working after. I thinks this is my problem.

First , try and go to settings / wireless and network / Mobile network / Network operators (Phone will search all available networks , it might take 1-2 minutes) / Select the network that your sim has , see if that works , if that doesn't work press select automatically ...Hope it helps.

Restored IMEI now no network issue

Hi XDA,
I have a Galaxy GT-P1000
My locality is New Zealand
Currently flashed;
2.3.6 stock firmware
Baseband JPZ modem
I recently messed up and didn't save efs while flashing and ended up with 0049. I paid a guy to fix it for me and IMEI is showing up correctly now. Serial # is still 000's.
My issue is;
With a correct brand new sim (and others tried) While signal is showing, I have no network, Under Settings -> About Device -> Status;
Phone Number : Unknown
Network : Unknown
Signal strength : (good)
Mob Network Type : HSDPA
Service State : Out of service
Roaming : Not Roaming
Mobile Network State : Disconnected
IMEI : (correct)
Serial number : 000's
I cannot make any phone calls, even toll free or to network support. 5 days ago this tablet was working on a network before flashing it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

You could try re-flashing the tab. There is a threads on re-stocking gsm tabs back to stock. If that doesn't work you could try manually programming the tab via the memo app. Open memo > in the search box type **772, that should open the programming menu. Thats as much as i know. You have to take it from here.

Korean Galaxy S(SHW M110S) has no Internet (3G data calling Enabled) but WiFi works

Dear Experts,
Few months back i had updated my Mobile from 2.3.4 (I9000, Scammed Version) to 2.3.6 (WF07)
Here with my limited knowledge & help from experts i tried below ROM's
Samsung Stock ROM WF07
Problem with this is
when i type *#06# it says "UNKNOWN APPLICATION"
but i can make call, send SMS everything except Internet Connectivity
i.e I enabled "3G Data Calling" even then Internet does not work
but WiFi works well, here my base band version is also fine
BBANANA WF07 Ultimate Edition
Here it gives me IMIE number when i dial *#06#
but same issue for some reason unable to use Internet (DATA)
even after enabling "3G Data Calling"
but WiFi works well
Also here if i go to Download mode except "reboot" if i try anything else it hangs

After upgrade no ATT connection

I upgraded to version MIUI 8.5.2 and now get in About Phone - Status - Sim Status :
For Cellular network type : HSPA : I need for GSM another one , but it greyed out and for cellular network state : Disconnected : Greyed out .
