[Solved] Return to Samsung boot animation - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have galaxy note (international version) with rooted stock ICS 4.0.4 with philz kernel 3.99 and cwm6.
I changed the boot animation with Boot Animation Changer, but now can't find a way to return to samsung animation as I didn't back it up.
I uninstalled it but no use. Is there a way to go back to samsung boot or I need to do a reset to factory settings?

[Q] Problems with flashing

Hi. My last firmware was from late 2010 (it was a custom if it matters).
Now I decided to update to 4.0.4 and selected a CM9 firmware. I did as usually, made a backup, factory resetted and cleared cache.
Then after I updated to that new firmware my phone got stuck in the first boot screen where it says like "Samsung GT-I9000" etc.
I wasn't able to get to recovery mode but I managed to get to download mode and I flashed a 2.3.6 firmware which I believe was stock (got it from sammobile.com). However it didn't help as now I'm stuck in endless boot animation where the "S" flashes and sometimes it just starts the animation again but nothing else happens .
I tried installing another kernel, then installing the CM9 firmware but then it just boots endlessly to recovery mode.
Now I have the stock 2.3.6 firmware installed with nothing else, still can't get past the boot animation. Anyone could tell me what to do or is my phone a brick?
Is your phone rooted? Do you have cwm?

Firstly I don't think its bricked if you can access download and recovery mode ....
I recently did the following to fix everything wrong with my phone.
I flashed to a stock rom (gingerbread 2.3.3)using Odin, then rooted my phone again. Then I flashed darky's rom (GB 2.3.6). After that i flashed tiramislim 9 (ICS 4.0.4) & that worked out for me. Hope i helped.

Reflash your last kernel (same of your backup).
In recovery flash kernel
Reboot in recovery and flash your backup

i can get into download mode,i need a stock kernel i think, anyone got one, please.
It's the best to flash a complete stock ROM. You can get some on sammobile.com.
Otherwise you may flash Semaphore and try getting into recovery mode.

Stuck on Samsung logo screen after flashing stock ROM

I tried following the steps indicated in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997. I was able to successfully flash the ROM N7000DXLR5---4.0.4/12.07.30-N7000OLBLR2---Download--Philippines (Smart) . I was already on the last part where the phone should reboot and would install some applications but the phone is just stuck on the Samsung logo screen. I waited for almost 2 hours already. I tried taking out the battery and rebooting the phone but its still stuck in the Samsung logo. The Volume down+home+power key is still working as well as the volume up+home+power key. I don't want to take another step because I'm afraid of my phone getting bricked.
I previously had a Jellybean custom ROM installed but don't like it since S-Pen features aren't working.
Install philz ics kernel from stock recovery and reboot into recovery. You will see cwm. Now do a factory reset. Then reboot.
You need a factory reset but 4.0.4 is not a safe kernel, that's why you need Philz kernel.
If you want a full stock ROM with kernel (like I need to send for warranty repair),
flash any GB stock rom appropriate for you, (still hang at samsung logo),
factory reset on recovery and update using kies to 4.0.4

if you are using N7000 then siyah kernel is not meant for this device as yet.
try to philz kernel if you can access recovery and then try to flash alliance rom.
or simply flash stock rom accessing the download mode.

[Q] Clockwork mod fail

I recently installed the Clockwork recovery mod on my gt-1900 while on the process of installing android 4.2 jellybean, and my phone does not want to work now. I turn it on, and all it does is flash the Samsung Galaxy S logo on the screen (like once you first turn it on) for hours until the battery runs out. I've tried everything to fix it, I think I may have deleted my phone's RAM by mistake.. can someone please help me?
This might work.
Try charging it up, then boot into recovery (if it is showing the logo constantly pull the battery out and put it back in first).
In recovery do a factory data reset then reboot.
This worked for me recently on my tab 8.9.
You can install and perform jvu with odin instalacion.Saludos again.

[Q] N7000 Samsung Boot Loop

Hello everything,
I know there are plenty of samsung logo boot loop threads out there, but honestly, I didnĀ“t find one specific to my problem.
So I was running [4.3][CM10.2][11.10]Team Asylum CM10.2 ROM on my N7000, but I need to downgrade my phone to stock ROM N7000UBKK8_N7000UBKK3_N7000TCEKK2_HOME.tar
So I went ahead and downloaded Odin 1.85 and flashed que mentioned ROM, but I am now stuck at the boot loop.
My phone shows the GT-N7000 screen, then the "Telcel" screen (carrier) and then the Samsung glowing logo, and the loop starts. It goes back to the telcel screen and the samsung glowing logo.
I read so many threads, that I didn't know what to do next. Still have access to download and recovery mode (stock), but before I hard brick the phone I wanted to ask you guys, what I should do first.
Thanks for your help.
The rom you flashed, is it jellybean or ICS? If JB then boot into recovery and do a factory wipe.
If you are unsure, install Philz kernel from recovery and then using Cwm, wipe data.

The ROM I flashed is GB. Can I go ahead an flash stock ICS and do the factory wipe?
No ics is not safe. Gb is safe. Boot into recovery on gb and wipe data. Then reboot.
Hey, thanks a lot!
Wipe data worked great. Now time to upgrade via OTA to JB.
Thanks again!
