Features
Linaro CM 10.1 M1(Feb 8) v0.1.zip
★ CM10.1 Experimental M1 snapshot build
★ Contains bionic optimizations from CM as of CM10.1-M1 branch
★ Stock CM kernel
★ All CM features as of experimental CM10.1-M1 branch
★ Stock launcher instead of Trebuchet
★ Removed CM File Manager and CM Updater. I prefer Solid Explorer and since this is not an official CM build, what are you going to update, eh?
Linaro CM 10.1 M1 (Feb 10) v0.2.zip
★ My Personal Daily Driver until M2 is built (by me of course)
★ CM10.1 Experimental M1 snapshot build
★ GPS bug fixed
★ Contains bionic optimizations from CM
★ Stock Paranoid Android kernel (Great color reproduction)
★ All CM features as of CM10.1-M1 branch
★ CM File Manager & Trebuchet are back
★ GPS bug fixed... Thanks to CyanogenMod and the devs behind it
★ Removed CM Updater. This is not an official CM build, what are you going to update, eh?
Facts about this ROM
★ This build is the product of my enthusiasm since I bought my Nexus 4
★ No original coding and patching. Just build it from CM sources after removing some packages.
★ After searching through Development forums of the Google Nexus 4 device, I realized that there are concrete efforts from developers with respect to ROM development
★ CyanogenMod was my favorite even before my first Android device and thus I decided to build from CyanogenMod sources
★ This is strictly a result of XDA driven guides' and threads' implementation from a newbie who has some knowledge of operating in a GNU/Linux environment
★ I have built this ROM to authorize myself that I can build from sources :victory:
Reasons you should prefer other ROMs
★ Trust: I am not a trusted and recognized developer
★ There are other regularly updated and maintained unofficial CM10.1 builds
★ I have discontinued development for this ROM and device as of v0.2
People/Organizations to thank
★ Google
★ CyanogenMod for its sources and wiki
★ Paranoid Android for its kernel source and its color optimizations (Featured in Feb 10 build) Pure awesomeness
★ EvoXOhio and trailblazerz11. Go thank them here.
★ Imperticus for his wonderful guide
Download
★ Linaro CM 10.1 M1(Feb 8).zip download here
★ Linaro CM 10.1 M1(Feb 10).zip download here
★ Gapps: Banks or Goo.im
★ You can try any kernel which supports CM with this ROM. There are many great choices
★ Flashing Instructions: Full wipe not necessary if coming from a CM10.1 ROM but preferred if you are on Nightlies newer than Jan 21
Re: [ROM][LINARO][Unofficial][4.2.1] CyanogenMod 10.1 Experimental M Snapshot builds
First! Reserved. Let's see if I can get away from one of my ROMs to try this. It looks nice. Nice job with the Linaro as well .

You surely can try... I am running this and so far it is a pleasant experience. Not the fastest of all in terms of benchmarks, you can have superior performance from other Linaro builds. I guess that's because the bionic optimizations which were updated after Jan 21 are not considered in this build.
My main goal was to make it as par as CM10.1-M1 build regarding stability and source code usage.
This is my first build and I am learning to edit manifest files to use different packages and kernels. I might try building it with other kernels and updated bionic optimizations.

The GPS bug is present with this ROM also.... I have used the CM10.1-M1 manifest to build this ROM but some changes in the M1 branch might be triggering the GPS bug or it might be something else....
Will update with a new build and test it properly...
I believe my first build was not entirely a nonusable thing. Will try to build with some customizations after learning more....
Re: [ROM][LINARO][Unofficial][4.2.1] CyanogenMod 10.1 Experimental M Snapshot builds
Flashed and tested the first build. During the time I tested it, I didn't experience any lags, stutters, bugs, etc. Nothing! The build was bug-free and blazing fast.
Don't let the OP's low post and thanks meter think that these are low quality builds. These builds are definitely not low quality. If the OP keeps this up, his thanks meter might go up a little bit more .

Once this rom has some of the customize-able features incorporated into Jellybeer, I'll be all over this. I'm still looking for a variant with center clock, nav bar height/width and some other knickknacks. Thanks for starting the development on this, I'm looking forward to seeing its progress.
OP updated with the new build...
More solid and stable. Used Paranoid Android Kernel which promises great color reproduction and it shows......
@Mattymat.. Sorry brother, I am not going to add any customizations which are outside CM. Kind of like to keep it that way.

All good man, I understand. I'm hoping someone takes what you've done and maybe adds them in (if you're okay with that of course). I've gotten used to jellybeer with all of its customizations.
Re: [ROM][LINARO][4.2.1] CyanogenMod 10.1 M Snapshot builds (Updated: Feb 10)
I am perfectly fine with anyone who wants to continue this work. However this is no serious customisation and stuff.
It's purely build from sources but the difference is that it is build with Linaro toolchain rather than GCC

IE reporting your link unsafe
Re: [ROM][LINARO][4.2.1] CyanogenMod 10.1 M Snapshot builds (Updated: Feb 10)
I do not have any other link. I shall try to upload on other account tomorrow(maybe Dropbox).
I assure you that's a safe link. It's uploaded to mega.co.nz, a relatively new service which encrypts your files and thus IE thinks it is unsafe. My chrome does not report it unsafe.
FYI, mega.co.nz launch was very successful and i admire it dearly.

Hello to all devs! I am asking this because i see that cm 11 developing is more and more growing. I couldn't keep up with the dev of cm11 unofficial for personal reasons, so i am asking if someone could give me a heads up. I remember that oficial cyanogen rom kept the old blobs and our devs, were using new blobs. But after that there is only chaos... Could someone please tell me what is the point we are now?? What works to what rom, and what is buggy? I do not want to know what rom is better or personal opinions. Just the facts. Thank you!!!
Sent from my LG-P880 using Tapatalk
its simple all unofficial roms using p880-dev sources (unofficial) and all official releases are based on "official" CM11 sources
unofficial ones are based on grouper blobs but there was a problem with camera so @Adam77Root made a little hack to get it work. So now camera is working ( little bit buggy) video rec is not working till Adam end his hack, but screenrecording is working here and not on official. overall IMO grouper blobs seems to give a smoothier experience than official ones, and they can give us hope to bring future releases of android on our p880.
there was also many many other thingsXD
I'm looking for a stable ROM for my i9305 which has strong release management: I don't want to run nightlies/weeklies and would would expect releases to be bug free or at least have an itemised list of know issues.
In short, I'm more interested in stability than quick releases of new features. A solid release every month would be ideal.
Sadly, CM11 is out - the dev doesn't seem to want to release the "milestone" or monthlies that our brother the i9300 has.
What ROMs have a track history of bug-free releases? I'm after a longer time between releases, and solid stability.

I'm a bit wary of unofficals after my previous unoffical ROM developer (Archidroid - rodman01) just put [discontinued] on the xda thread and then walked away!
I settled for LiquidSmooth (which I believe is based on Slimkat) and did a DIY on Boeffla

Thanks, that one looks really good. I like that it's possible to select kernels at install time. Also a great selection of pre-installed apps.
I've since installed LiquidSmooth, but will keep this one firmly in mind!!

I bumped into C-ROM looking for a ROM wife's i9000. It looked quite impressive, but I found that updating her kennel did the trick, so didn't try it. I prefer AOSP over TouchWiz, I'll keep one in mind, thanks.

I was running liquid smooth 3.2 nightly(currently on carbon ROM). Btw are you using the CyanogenMod or omni boeffla kernel?

Are you sure that Carbon rom have stopped development?
Latest nightly is 2014 11 03 after that for most devices there are no nightlies out but looks like they are preparing for Lollipop. IMO, 3rd Nov. isn't that old nightly.

Development for the Atrix HD has not stopped. Atrix HD development was merged with the msm8960 family earlier this year. After the RHD KK release, Atrix HD and other devices not upgraded to KK became their own family, known as the msm8960_jbbl. This also resulted in the development of the popular ROMs that you listed to have msm8960_jbbl not supported. THIS HAS BEEN COVERED EXTENSIVELY FOR MONTHS ACROSS SEVERAL THREADS. ANY BUILD BY THOSE DEVELOPERS ARE OUTDATED BY AT LEAST 6 MONTHS. CM10, 10.1, 10.2 development has stopped per Cyanogenmod. CM11 development is about to end, with patches being released by Cyanogenmod through their nightlies. CM12 (per our branch (msm8960_jbbl) developers have stated that they will start building after our main branch (msm8960) is more stable. TecknoFreak stated that he would try to get a CM12 released, but has not put out any ETA. ALL OTHER ROMS YOU HAVE LISTED HAVE EITHER HAD THEIR DEVELOPERS STOP DEVELOPMENT FOR ALL DEVICES, STOPPED FOR OUR DEVICE, OR ARE DEVELOPING LOLLIPOP VERSIONS.

there are quite a few lollipop images now available. Following is my review on them,
Vanir - Have NFC error during setup so can't complete setup
Validus - Stable. battery life was ok.
Blisspop - Random reboots
CM - Seen some random reboots and little laggy
PAC - No update. Video playback seems to not work.
Mijju - Quite stable but little laggy.
Please share your reviews on these roms and which rom gives you better battery and smooth performance.
updated the thread.. let me know if I had missed any new ROMs..
There also was OSE rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2495568
I think development stopped on 4.4.4. On 4.4.2 had an option to change max frequency to ~1800Mhz.
Regarding, last updates of lollipop roms (tried Blisspoop and Cyanogenmod) WiFi calling (WhatsApp, Hangouts) doesn't work.
On OSE, there also was a strange bug with WiFi calling (WhatsApp, Hangouts) after last updates. After connecting phone started to make old-modem noises via main speaker at max volume, the only thing that stopped it was shutting down the phone.
There's also the CM11 via RHD's page. Its an unofficial build, but it essentially is the EOL'ed build with stagefright patches.

Our devs and their work on Lollipop made a lot of progress in the last weeks. We got a few good working Roms! So i decided to make an Index with all Lollipop Based Roms for our beloved LG P880/X3.
First of all, which ROMs are included here? Well, I just searched and chose the active threads (even if the ROM doesn’t have any recent updates, the thread should at least remain active, with constant feedback from users and devs) but this isn't a must. But for no activity in the thread for atleast two months will not be listed in the NEW Repository. Please remember, the most important thing is to read the thread of the ROM that you choose, take a look at the benefits, user reviews, bugs, FAQ, etc. And then, flash it. Of course all the feedback is welcome, if you see some wrong information or want to see a ROM added/removed, you can post a reply in this thread or send me a PM.
The Roms are ranked by their release date

Fixing an issue with d800 being too high, but as I just told you, hopefully after I test tonight's build, I'll be able to sync up and work on p880 a bit more. I'm glad to hear you guys have been able to get nfc working as well.
