Hello to all devs! I am asking this because i see that cm 11 developing is more and more growing. I couldn't keep up with the dev of cm11 unofficial for personal reasons, so i am asking if someone could give me a heads up. I remember that oficial cyanogen rom kept the old blobs and our devs, were using new blobs. But after that there is only chaos... Could someone please tell me what is the point we are now?? What works to what rom, and what is buggy? I do not want to know what rom is better or personal opinions. Just the facts. Thank you!!!

its simple all unofficial roms using p880-dev sources (unofficial) and all official releases are based on "official" CM11 sources
unofficial ones are based on grouper blobs but there was a problem with camera so @Adam77Root made a little hack to get it work. So now camera is working ( little bit buggy) video rec is not working till Adam end his hack, but screenrecording is working here and not on official. overall IMO grouper blobs seems to give a smoothier experience than official ones, and they can give us hope to bring future releases of android on our p880.
there was also many many other thingsXD

Hey guys, i am curious if cyanogen is going to support our O2X for next big update to 4.3 JB. I don't think they will support 5.0, but at least this can be somehow useful and I am worried that all developers will jump to another devices and we will get stuck at nightlies. What do you think?
you can't predict it yet. I'm trusting in our developers though, nothing is impossible.

Is cm even going to release a stable cm 10.1, or will we remain nightlies only? I have turned to devs instead of the regular cm rom anyway, cm isn't that stable on the p990.

Many of us abandoned official CM for the releases by pengus77 and tonyp on the new bootloader. RC seems adamant on supporting the old bootloader despite its problems, as he feels a lot of users aren't knowledgeable enough to NVFlash their phones and doesn't want an influx of support questions. And he and official CM don't seem to be paying any attention to the fixes made by pengus which make some functions actually work (i.e. wifi hotspot) and improve stability a lot.
i understand there is no official cm support for XSP yet. i also know that freexperia project has cm versions for XSP.
i'd like to ask which of the cm versions in the FXP site is considered a stable build. are there any bugs? or which funtionalities are missing?
because there aren't any details of the ROM versions in the FXP site.
Thank you very much

Well, they all are initial released and they will all come with BUGS which you can live with. However, if you still want to flash it, just flash the latest version as in every NEW version bugs are fixed and performance is improved!
I will suggest wait a bit and you will soon have a stable CM for your phone!
Good Luck
Hi guys, I have a little question:
Well, as you know, the guys who worked making the ROM's of the N1 is awesome.
But I have to see some opinions about the performance of 2 ROMs, Evervolv and Beanstalk.
Now I'm using the Evervolv ROM, wich last update was on May 21st, but some people says that Beanstalk is smoother than Evervolv. I see the last update was on April 17th (or something like that)
Does anybody can help me if I stay with Evervolv or go with Beanstalk? It's just way to have better perfomance on my phone (as everybody wants, too)
Please answer if you tested both ROMs
Evervolv always

I found Beanstalk buggier than the Evervolv ROMs. (I have used both as my daily drivers)
Evervolv ROMs are more stable than other ROMs because others use libraries and source code from Evervolv.
If you want a boatload of features, then use the Beanstalk (trust me there are A LOT of customizations and added features here) but if you want a more stable ROM, Evervolv is always the one to go to (IMHO).:cyclops:

Hi Xda Developers
i found unofficial build of Resurrection Remix 5.6.4 marshmallow but can't post official thread cause i haven't tried or test it or have any changelog or source , bla bla
due to my phone in sony supporting center i can't test it but if any one want to test it and report if camera work and if there some bugs
i'm sorry if put it in wrong section but this for discussing
Download
Sorry again
note: another build found now but aicp u can found it on android file host by search for Honami
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...-resurrection-remix-lollipop-t2996238/page116
Yes, I found AICP, CM 13, Vanir MM and that RR MM, more Marshmallow roms are coming
with some fixes on SELinux may be data work but
the real problem in camera blobs
some builds of AOKP fixed it but it's laggy i hope the next builds will be more stable but
i want to ask .... is AOKP ready for daily use or for dev only now
@DectonX Aokp is just missing camera. So if you never use your camera, so you can flash this ROM I think it can be used as daily ROM. And trying and reporting bugs are free. So you can try and see
@benplay i hear that some devs send on github that fixed it but it laggy
as you i installed crDroid but i faced battery problems (high Drain)
so i wait for aokp to be very stable, i don't care the camera at this time
Hi,
Since CM site closure, where can I find Official CM nightly rom ?
Are CM Rom compatible for Madagascar ?
Thank you for your help

CyanogenMod is discontinued, there are no more updates. Unofficial releases can still be updated through the normal means, if the developer chooses to continue support. LineageOS is the new Cyanogen. It's available for most popular flagships and previous flagships. I don't think there's one for this phone. You can always look into compiling one yourself, though!
