After v18C, now v18D is on LG servers but as usual it can not be downloaded:
http://csmgdl.lgmobile.com/swdata/WDLSW/LGP880/ADEUBK/V18d_00/V18D_00.kdz
I wonder at which alphabet letter they are going to stop and make it public.
like on p990 v28 was not a version to publicate. Only v30 was released. So i think its only a beta version and v20x will be the first official release

If that's true, we will have to wait a looooong time for the Jelly Bean version.
I bet on v18E.
Sorry, this has been reported before.
I had quest LG.
I had quest LG: Can you give me a download Link for the EU Open P880 Jelybean test Firmware (V18d) or so if you test it?
And it was answered: We are very sorry to say that we can’t provide any test version of firmware.
Please wait for official version.
Did anyone tried B2B now? it could be there (but i dont think so)
Anyway, hacking the website since the KDZ is there, shouldnt be that much difficult for someone who knows how to hack it.

No on B2B isn't online..
Referring to "hacking" the website, would it be useful to have an IMEI-number or a serial number of a developer-phone?
I could provide these 2 numbers.

Therefore I thougt we could trick the server by changing the user-agent based on the IMEI.

LG PC Suite uses the following user-agent:
LGE-ActiveDP/0.9
So I tried changing the number portion from 0.0 to 9.9 but it didn't work.
If anyone knows which LG tool a tester uses to download firmware, maybe I can try to dig into that application to find the proper user agent string if there is any.
How about this?

This firmware comes from the Official Insiders. I think the firmware is suitable for ME860 sold in Asia. The firmware is Android 2.3.4, internal beta. I tried to flash it in my ME860, but because of the firmware on my telephone-U4_2.1.1 ,French version,it failed. Now, I share the firmware with everyone, hoping that if someone can find a method to let all of us use it.

Didn't get it via OTA yet. Are those who got it unbranded? Or are LG apps required (I disabled some of them to save battery, Software Updatre is still alive)?
Unbranded, Germany, no OTA Update available.
Does root still work/has to be rooted again? Please someone confirm this correctly.

interesting that they're doing .kdz for a USA carrier. Seems Sprint is sticking with the .cab.

Easy. Jcase (i beleive that's his name) got root in his AT&T LG g4. He bricked the first one and the second was rooted. He stated he will NOT release the root until it is safer and more stable.

I beleive that once a major U.S. carrier g4 is rooted then the rest of the US carries will be able to work as well. The model number of the g4 is just to what carrier it belongs to. There is nothing different about the boot loader or any thing else. Since the Euro version has been rooted I believe that they had a different boot loader and TWRP (may have spelt that wrong.) that is was easily exploited. To some of us waiting for this root that one difficult root is a slimmer of hope of obtaining root soon.
