Probably not, but try it and see

Tried to install this, it said installation aborted.. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

This was covered in the last page

That was a different error, the user on the last page got a status 1 error, I get a status 7
EDIT; Tried using a different memory card/formatted current one, still gave me the error I quoted above.. Could really use some help

I will upload another version with update binary for lt30p

I don't know if it's just me, but it feels like I almost always need to format SD when switching between ROMs. At least from stock to CM and back, things behave very strangely until I do a factory reset or format internal mem from CWM.
Looking forward to trying this one out!

Do not ask for ETA's of updates, it is considered bad manners on xda foums to do that.

new version for now is v3 to fix updater script.

[q] how to sign a rom...??

Can anybody tell me how to how to SIGN a ROM..??
I'hv developed a rom and sign it via zipsigner and flashed it via CWM but its not installing..can anybody tell what hppnd to it..??

Hopefully you have modded a Rom by simply extracting it. If yes there is no need to sign it

I hv tried to flash the rom with and without signing.. both are not working..

you must have did something wrong in the updater-script
what error you get while flashing rom

IT ONLY GIVES INSTALATION ABORTED ALL THE TIME...

First try mounting system manually. That might be the problem

that's not because of unmounted /system
as if system is not mounted it will just do the progress nothing would be copied but it will not show installation aborted
@op paste you updater-script here for further troubleshooting

Problem Flashing CM 10.1

Hi
Recently I saw the Post published the Cyanogenmod 10.1 Unofficial build
I downloaded and worked according to the instructions (this is not the first Rom i flash) and when I try to install the ZIP He writes me the Error in the picture
What can I do?

First, you need to install latest ClockworkMod Recovery 6.X, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2140681 and than flash CM10.1

Personally I'd use TWRP.

I use it and I've never noticed any problems with it.

i have a problem with my first selfmade Rom. I made a rom for me because i want to have a smooth and stylish rom. For this i used cm7..
All things a clear but when i try to install it i become a error: ``E: Can't open /sdcard/roms/x8.zip (bad)
in log :"minzip: Filename contains a invalid character '357' minzip: Invalid filename {at 84}".
I can't find the problem in update script at line 84: symlink("busybox", "/system/xbin/ps");
I hope you can help me:good:.

You get this error in starting or in middle

(Bad) error means file is wrongly zipped.....
Use winrar & choose 'normal' method while creating your zip from files..

Try another methods & see...
But I'm sure its not zipped correctly, happened with me..
U can try clicking 'test' to see if the zip is corrupted...

I used all methods in winrar and 7zip every time the same sh**. I tested it too but it say nothing.

Simply re-download the zip file.

I wanted to install a new rom (cyanogenmod 10.1) for my galaxy mini (pop plus), And i am got this error mesage:
"E:Error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip (Status 7)
Installation aborted."
The recovery is the original (Android system revovery), i tried to change for clock world mod recovery but the Odin doesn't recognize my phone.
The problem is with "package.zip"? probably damaged?

Don't install CM10.1, or you'll end up bricking your phone !

There's two CM7 that run, but still have many bugs. Not recommended for daily driver.

There's no Jelly Bean for GT-S5570i, my recommendation is either Hyperion or JellyPlus.

IT CAN'T BE INSTALLED, kay. Google yourself ! DO A SEARCH before DOING SOMETHING.

I am installed JellyPlus rom and wasn't working the wifi and the bluetooth, what could be the problem? (when I turn on, the phone is restarting)

U may contact the mod about why u don't have permission to post there, i cannot help u about wifi and Bluetooth as i dont hav this device and never read that thread and user reviews there
