I purchased a LG Opt 2x P990 today and did a ICS stock upgrade and now my SMS/MMS force closing all the time. Cant even start
the app.
What should i do?

By your post I think you are not rooted.....just try a factory reset and try again

Hi guys,
for know am running stock rom on mine so am forced to use tw but am intersted once ics is out to take full advantage of its UI but without tweaking with the rom and without adding a different launcher and without loosing any functionalities of my phonethe question: is it possible?

you would have to flash a custom rom thats its either cm9 or aosp version
So it is impossible to have ics stock Rom on my phone...:-(

It is impossible for all of us to have stock ICS on our Notes, since it hasn't been released yet.
But don't lose hope, the initial release is expected within a month or so.
But yout do lose s-pen with cm9!

I don't have a note, but we can do this on any other touchwiz device I've ever tried. Go to settings -> applications -> all -> twlauncher -> clear defaults. Then when you press the home button, it should give you a choice of launchers, one of which is the reg Google launcher. I'm currently using that I'm my leak build of ics for the epic touch. So I assure you, when they release it for the note, it will be possible.

I think youre pressing the clear data button rather than the clear defaults button.

or its quite possible that it just isnt available on the note like it is on other devices
my "clear defaults" button is greyed out...
I can confirm you only get tw launcher with the note. But you should be able to download the gingerbread launcher apk and install it on the note. Then jut uninstall the tw launcher.
in this case which one will be faster?

Hi guys, i have a problem with my Optimus Black (White). The LED flash camera sometimes not working. I've tried some other third party camera and the problem still persist. Anyone ever experienced same problem? Any solution?

Im using Marvel v 8 right now. There no one else experienced this problem like me.
Its normal in 5-8 first shot after flash or FacRes, but next shot the flash won't functioned properly, totally no flashlight.

Yes, thank you. Just flashed to stock ROM, test the led n still the same. But i'm happy today coz i've extracted v20e kdz and compiled to proper bin file also finally flashed my phone. Thanks to all xda guys

What rom are you currently using?
He is probably on stock(unrooted)
try using zeus rom
As i said i am using everything stock

Had this problem while texting. Key board would crash when I turned the phone sideways. No fix out there.
I suggest to you to root and flash zeus rom Its the same rom but a lot better. And to use PIMP MY ROM for get a optimal result
If you dont like the zeus theme(v6.4), you can flash an other one
Lg ob stock rom is pretty bad but an official ICS rom is coming soon... but i dont trust LG said...

Install cwm and flash(according to me...best result):
-zeus rom v7.3
-lg 3 ui from theme section
-lg keyboard from zeus himself
-pimp my rom if you want

I have the same problem!! I think that the problem is the battery... is defective, i have used a several roms and the problem persists....
i just want to share mms apk from lg optimus g phone,,,it has popup feature which is different from mms lg optimus 4x,,i dont has lg optimus 2x since it is at my home which is far away from my place right now..so maybe someone can try it..this is not flashable zip, so please put this apps at system/app and change the permission to rw-r-r-...make sure u copy the original apk before replac it, so if it not working u can replace back the original apk,,

it's normal, the apk works on its own framework guys.....
some devs could mod the apk to work on our device

or maybe there's explaination to what's causing the lag?
I disabled smart log service using NoBloat Free application.
Now I can uninstall applications faster like in ICS and the lag after installing applications is almost gone. (Hope this is not a plasebo effect)
