hi can anybody help?
my phone stuck at samsung galaxy s screen..
i can go to download mode but cant boot into recovery..
i try flash using odin and pass everything but when i restart it still stuck..
please anybody help....

You need to dismantle your device.. I just remove and re insert the ribbon cable connected to the LCD...?

Have you tryed leaving battery out for a while then put it back in to flash I think 10min should do

It's a known issue.. Leave the phone connected to the USB..then remove the battery..unplug..wait some secs..insert the battery..restart Odin.. Connect the USB to the phone and try to reflash..should work now

Hmm... so try to reflash a stock rom with ODIN and after go into recovery and wipe data....

but problem is its still on stock/origanal firmware out of the box.
so not rooted.

I Know.. but if you are able to flash a custom recovery like CWM i think you can wipe data and\or flash a custom rom instead a stock

you dont need root to flash 2.3.6 via ODIN. if only download mode works for u you only have few options. 1 if u have warranty send it back to samsung. 2 install clockworkmod recovery via odin multi downloader or reflash gingerbread 2.3.6 via odin while your phone is in download mode thats it!. easily sorted when u know how if download mode still works.
strange for a new phone to have bootloop.
hi there after coming home tried to flash the phone
but only thing i get is i hear on my pc that it is connected but not to be seen on my pc.
when i put it in download mode odin doesn't recognize the phone what is to be done with this.
can't get into recovery mode either
happend only once did recovery wipe data but then i got e:

please help getting desperete to after flashing my sgs2 for over 20 times without any problem
i think the problem is yhat it's not in debug mopde but there is no way for me to get it there becaus cant get into the damn thing

I have tried many times but after completing the flashing process, while the phone rebooting remains blinking without starting up..

Flash froyo and then try to upgrade to gingerbread

then just upgrade with bootloader firmware

tried but the same result.....
i got the same problem.
now do as i tell
flash stock rom using odin
it will show same problem ,now move into normal recovery mode.[not CWM]
wipe data
Again flash stock rom using odin. IT Works
I did same worked for me......TRY it WORKS......

After flashing also I can't enter into recovery... the phone blinks with showing samsung logo when i press the combination..
did you released the keys when you see the Samsung screen

sorry yaar I have tried but now no samsung logo. I can only enter into download mode only. And after flashing while rebooting the phone starts blinking. Can anyone tell me wether its a brick problem or mother board failure or any other type of problem. The warranty has been expired and I have taken it out to samsung care and they told me that the mother board failure and it costs rs 4000 for the replacement. Shall I show it to outside samsung care or what?????? Please solve my problem please............

ya i have tried it too.. Can any one tell wether it is a case of mother board failure???
Once again I will clarify my problem to u that I can enter only into download mode and PC detects the phone and the mobile does not start instead it starts blinking....

it isnt brick
i had exactly the same problem that u r telling..
now my phone is working fine

frst i flashed some rom used for a day
then again flashed stock rom...i got same problem told (screen struck & samsung logo blinking)
i ws trying for a 3 hrs & finally
then i did as told in earlier post & it worked......

now the phone won't start, whenever I connect it to PC the screen starts blinking...
I have been trying to root my Samsung Galaxy S I9000 without success. I used Odin and flashed I9000XXJVK_kernel.tar but when I switched the phone it doesn't boot. It is stuck on the Galaxy S GT-I9000 white logo with black background. I then tried to install using Odin the CF Root-XW-XEN-JS3v1.3-BusyBox but it failed installing on Odin. Now the worst has happened. My Samsung Galaxy S i9000 will not switch on now. All I get on the display when I try to boot is an exclimation mark icon in the middle of a phone and PC icon. I fear it is bricked.
Anyone know how I can save my phone?
Please advise

Anyone know how I can root my Samsung without this happening again?

If you need only rooting without cwm then use unlock root Google for it its easy and simple and never brick your phone

I just tried to install new android version for my samsung galaxy s advance, i installed it with odin and it was offical firmware AND NOW MY PHONE WONT TURN ON!!!!!! what do i have to do????? please answer quickly!!! please !!!!
Can you access download mode? Of you can't I fear you'll have to take it to a Samsung assistence center

If you flashed I9070 firmware on I9070P phone you hardbricked it.

They need to change motherboard, I am not sure how much but it is not little.

Does it still power on and wont i continu with boot ????
or does nothing happen at all ?
i had faillure with booting once but when i connected to pc and start up odin , it still recognized the phone and was able to flash back to stock and download other rom which is now on my phone ..
