Hi,
Just new here,
I have unlocked the boot loader on my RAZR I today and am planning on rooting tonight using the root tool that can be found on here,
I am just wondering, would I be able to flash a different system version such as orange.gb as I am on retail.gb and then get the jelly bean update? Or is it able to flash jelly bean to my device upon rooting? I'm new to this and don't wanna wreck my phone lol
Cheers to anyone that can help

I think that you should go through the threads which are meant for newcomers who want to play with their phone and roms so that you know how to recover your phone if something goes wrong because doing things without proper knowledge can change your phone into a beautiful paper weight.Go through the following thread which can give a clear idea about flashing official ICS for Germany but I strongly advice to think and proceed or probably wait for your country's turn to get official ICS...

Hey guys I want to root my motorola hd atrix 4.1.1, and I have never rooted before. I just wanted to know if anyone can help me on how to root my phone, or tell me if there's no root for 4.1.1 yet. Thanks. :victory:
No root for 4.1.1 yet!
Sent from my Atrix HD
I think there should be a sticky for the half dozen or so users that still have the Atrix HD and have not taken the OTA update to Jelly Bean that we don't have a solution in place to root post update.
For Atrix HD this work?
Hi everyone, My devices AT&T AHD and Runing Jelly Bean. I want root my phone and downgrade to İCS. What is your ideas? Can I downgrade to İCS ? Can it be brick?
Thanks for the answer.
Unfortunately, there's no known way to go back to ICS yet. However there is a root method for JB, check it out: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2143437
Need some help!
I have a Galaxy S3 i9305 locked to EE.
I am currently running Liquidsmooth 4.2.2 v2.2 and I'm looking to Downgrade to a stock 4.1.2 so I can unlock the phone before selling it (getting a Sony Xperia Z).
I've searched around and can't find any concrete instructions on how to do this.
Can anyone help point me in the direction for a good tutorial?
Faqs and guides have all the information required .

Hello guys, I am very new to Android and want to get this sorted ASAP.
Having prior experience with jailbreaking on IOS, I decided I'd root my Razr I running 4.1.2, this process went very well, but I made a bad mistake and forgot to create any sort of backup for Stock JB 4.1.2 I am now deeply regretting this due to the fact on some ROMS my mobile data does not work and on PI-llama my phone seems to crash rather a lot.
Basically, could someone help me revert to Stock Motorola Razr I GB 4.1.2 software, without any sort of backup. Any help would be greatly appreciated, step by step would be very nice though. Thank you for your time
Here you go:
RAZR i XT890 Firmwares SuperThread (Jelly Bean)
You will need RSD Lite to flash the firmware.
You can also download firmware from here - But make sure it is 4.1.2, as 4.0.4 will most likely brick your device.
