Flashing REMICS over Slim ICS

Hello everyone
I have one (simple) question: How to Change from Slim ICS 4.0 to RemICS 1.2
I have a little experience in flashing and ROMS, maybe a wipe cache / dalvik cache before flashing would do it ?
I have actually a GT-I9000 with Slim ICS 4.0
Any guide is welcome, I have searched the forum but was not able to get a clear answer

Just flash over it I think do a cache and dalvik wipe to be sure but it should be a simple upgrade so to speak

First, I want to thank you for clicking the link I provided
I can actually read a step by step guide (How could I get into Slim ICS if I wasn't )
My question was targeted to hilight any ancompatibility of this ROM with the base of Slim ICS as for example, before going from a stock Rom to this one, I needed a CM7 based rom
RemICS is saying it is a CM9 ROM
Slim ICS is "fully built from AOSP sources with some cherry picks from CM and AOKP team" according to its author
So I thought there may be a need to flash a CM9 rom before and in this case, which one is the more suitable ?
And what about the modem ? (I have now a cm7 XXJVT)
Nevertheless, thanks for taking some precious seconds to type some precious words (...)

Firstly, incase other people read this, slim needs a cm9 base.
Directly after installation instructions at remics it says it is a CM9 based ROM.
Further to that, it is advisable to post these questions in the ROM thread as you are far more likely to get a clear concise answer

i am confuse , i want to install any ICS (CM9) or JB (CM10) Rom which themed like Galaxy SIII but without any problem like battery, camera or etc . so can anyone please suggest me any Rom based on Galaxy SIII if JB Rom is available than i want that otherwise ICS Rom.

i had but i am confuse b.c i dont have flashed any unoffical Rom so other people had they know which Rom is better thats why

Use gb roms then has almost no bug

ya i am thinking to flash with DDQ8 firmware . can i flash with other region firmeare ? i have arabic Rom ... if there is new firmware after DDQ8 so please tell me ...

yeah,S'Piriance is awesome..also try XWKTQ final has stock ui but its great.Im on it now...

I flashed my ace about....can;t remember about1000 time...best rom for me was XWKTQ final...can choose amount of internal memory and its fast...instaled about 250 aps&games...still no lag dude...

Hey, Amazing job (as usual)
I tried a lot of roms and this takes the cake. V1 and already running super for me.
I used Slim Bean ROMs on different Phones and the name alone made me blindly (trust and) install it.
i was having a lot of problems with the 4.2.1 rom.. felt ignored lol and now i'm really stoked with this ROM.
Tnx A lot for making it for the mini! cant wait for OTA's enabled

As I see in changelog, 4.2.1 RC1 ver came out, so will we got new update in furture?

Ver1 is SlimBean 3.1 and it has bug. when i enable navibar and weather, i can't see unlock icon, luckily, i can touch statusbar(this is a bug, too) and go to setting, then i'm in without unlock. Another bug is screen flashing with some lines(as screen has problem) when lock device.

Which Rom u using as base for the port? Don't u think u should mention that in credits even if u didn't ask permission from me/anyone else to port this?

[Q] Rootbox 4.2 build 9(5/14/2013)

I only have 2 posts so I can't post this in the proper forum. I just updated to build 9 of Camcory's Rootbox. On the previous release there was a performance option to mod the cpu settings. Is there one for this current release? If so, where is it as I can't find it.

Yes I did. I went through every menu on it. Unless it is hidden by some secret method, like tapping the build number to enable developer options like on some other roms, it's not there.

Did you install a over clock kernel to let the options be available

Yes, I have demons blood v5 installed. That shouldn't matter anyways because in previous releases, the performance menu was still available with the built in kernel, i.e. I didn't have to flash an overclocked kernel to get the options.

Cam didn't include it in this build just pull the apk from the previous build install it then move it to system/apps. It wont show up in settings but I'll
Show up in widgets.

IT worked for me try wiping everything flash the ROM and gapps then the kernel .

Does not seem to contain build 9, (2013 05 14)
Sorry if I missed it somehow, used ctrl+f, then read each one after that failed.

I'm also looking for that build. Was wanting to try Rootbox with the latest AOIP whitescreen fix kernel to see how it runs. I'm thinking that is most likely to work with it since it is also based on a 3.4.x kernel.

Sorry i just could not help it...

i am currently using cm9.2 by erikcas with no mods to scripts.i think that ics roms like cm9.2 or aosp and gb roms like stock-based or cm7 are best for mini since they are faster and smooth then cm10.1.

I use my custom build Mint OS (based on CM10 and CM10.1), no mods, no script + Badass Kernel.
My favourite ROM of all time is emanoN, the ROM saves my Mini from bootloops, soft brick and it's my first custom rom !

Its android 4.2.2 and for benchmark score I gonna post that in 10 hours( sleep)
But I installed 45+ app and no lag except for startup.
