4.2 Keyboard and camera

Android 4.2 keyboard with gesture, its as good as swipe.

After installing go to languages and input and check Android Key board

Now, getting it on your device is going to be easy for some of you, and less easy for others. You'll need to be on Android 4.0+, to start.
If you're on a phone with a UI overlay that has the stock keyboard disabled (eg, Samsung TouchWiz, HTC Sense, Sony), you can just download the apk below- no root required. To install, make sure you have "install from unknown sources" enabled in your phone settings, and after installation, go into your phone's keyboard settings and enable "Android keyboard." Then, you can switch to the new keyboard. This may also work on some "stock" Android custom ROMs - but it will not work on stock Android builds distributed by Google.

If the apk doesn't work, you're running a phone that is either A.) running stock Android (as in, AOSP), or B.) running software that has the stock Android keyboard as an option, you'll need to download this ZIP file, and flash it in recovery. That also means you're going to need root. as you'll be writing to /system/apps. Before you do, though, either back up the stock keyboard (if you don't know how, you probably shouldn't be doing this) or create a full image backup, just in case. Here's that ZIP file:

I'm gonna test and report. Btw camera photosphere is useless for mini, until we get a functional camera on jb and ics.
Edit: Just tested and i can confirm not working on jb rom by Rohan (15Dec build) It doesn't force close, but the keyboard just doesn't appear

I wanna test the camera app. But mediafire's link dead, and I can't download from 2Shared
Edit: Whatever, it will never work for our Mini

Hey, dude.
Do you understand what ARMV6 and ARMV7 means ? If you don't, you totally N00BS.
This keyboard pretended for ARMV7, keyboard will fit on any screen, our Mini doesn't really have ARMV7 Processor.\
Libs ? Do you even understand Linux yet ? If you don't understand or at least TRY it, don't talk about libs.

Totally agreed this is not going to work on our armv6 phone please don't try this as it is just a waste of time

Not so sure that can be ported as it may need PA/CM kernel. (But I am no expert on that)
In the mean time you can use this app which I have been using for a long time. Its similar but NOT the same as halo

No you wouldn't need kernel since its just framework mods it could be modded in and yeah I've had that app since it was in alpha Lol that ks tho!!!!!)))

well if its just framework mods there is a possibility now that there is a thread explaining how to recompile framework-res.apk without bootloops...

There is somewhere one indeed, if I have time I may implement it in my ROM .

Find stock systemui.apk and replace it with one you have now. You can find it in deodex zips for our phone.
You can use flashable zip for that s4 one, just replace systemui.apk file that is in zip, with the stock one. And install it like you did with the one you are using now.

Any chance of porting group play from the s4 (i9505) onto s2 (i9100)? My 3 year old has my s2 for his games and learning apps but steals my s4 so he can play some match game on group play

No rush I've got my eye on a few roms bit none have it yet but its only for a clued up 3 year old. Tried a few ported apps but no luck but rememberee I removed root and returned the phone to stock before giving it to my son so that may be my problem but always looking on here anyway

[Q] Xposed framework

Hi guys, I'm writing here just because I want to know one thing about xposed module:
- does it work on Desire c running cm10?
I've just looked the official thread and I saw this
I develop the Xposed framework based on the AOSP sources. I'm personally using CM10.1 on an I9100 (Samsung Galaxy S2, bought in Germany). Basically, it should work on any phone which with a ROM based on Android 4.0 or later and an ARM processor (this is the processor architecture, most smart phones and tablets have one). Exceptions might be ROMs which are different from the original Android code in some very internal, central code parts (which don't need to be touched for most theming and enhancement modifications). Examples are Miui-based ROMs (see known incompatibilities below). But this is related to the ROM, not the phone itself.

I know, I can make a backup and restore it in case xposed module doesn't work, but I don't like so much to make backups (it tooks very long and I don't know if is just my phone that spend all this time or not)

I'm using two modules XBlast Tools and Hack Connectivity.
Ignore the second one.
The first one is awesome.

I'm trying to use xblast tools too, but I don't know how to use it... I've installed xposed installer, rebooted, installed xblast tools, checked in modules, rebooted again but it doesn't work (I tried to set a background image for notifications)

Make changes using Xblast
Reboot
Apparently, we cannot change the notification panel (color or image) using Xblast. I tried a lot. I wanted transparent.. Then finally, I had to do it myself by decompiling SystemUI. Now I have transparent..
Try the other options like center clock and clock color, Status bar color, Carrier label. They all work

I second that. It works great.
Another module I use is XlockY by the same developer as of Xblast tools. It helps do some cool things in lockscreen like changing lockrings and all.
Although some ROM-dependent features dont work here too.

CM10.2 Porting/Modding Galaxy Mini S5570 Touchwiz ROM

Hi there,
I'm looking for someone or many who can collab with me in doing a Rom base on jenkins cm10.2.
Cause i don't know how to build a ROM, i just know how to port/mod
Now I've got SVoice working ( partial ) , Touchwiz Magazine UX, and some other apps
I've already port the apps to the Rom, but i think i would be fun if i could share it with others
We can work as a team, and build a Touchwiz ROM base on CM10.2, just like its from Samsung (update)

i am done with everything except ui...

lovely, well i can give you apps that i already tried, and working as Touchwiz, and some lib, framework, permission files etc, everything that a must for Touchwiz Rom,
anyways i would love to have a kind of Original Samsung ROM, look like Samsung Official update..
I've already done it porting the ROM, but this morning when i woke up, the screen went black and stuck, and i also tried the new S Voice, its partially working, but force close at weather command. Maybe there are some lib files and fixes needed...

yeah we can work as a team, somehow it a theme that i got somewhere in the internet, let try to make it as an permanent Touchwiz UI

please make status bar look KITKAT and TOUCHWIZ UI they gonna be awesome!
