[MOD] Icons back NFC+(SXZ)Location-based Wi-Fi JB - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

Hi,everybody
With the JB update the icons from NFC and Location-based Wi-Fi in the statusbar are gone.
So I have made a mod to get them back.
Only for rooted phones with CWM
Icons back NFC and Location-based Wi-Fi
Flash the zip Icons back NFC+WIFI in CWM
If you want to go back to stock(No Icons)
Flash the zip No Icons NFC+WIFI in CWM
Updated with:
No icons and Location-based Wi-Fi from Sony Xperia Z
Only NFC icon and Location-based Wi-Fi from Sony Xperia Z

Re: [MOD] Icons back NFC+Wi-Fi on location JB
If you only want the location based WiFi, and not the NFC, just unzip and install the APK inside. It will install like any other app
Sent from my Xperia LT30p using XDA Premium app.
Did I help? Then please press the thanks button

Re: [MOD] Icons back NFC+Location-based Wi-Fi JB
It worked for me, if it doesn't work for you open the zip and delete the apk you don't want, then flash through CWM

How to do it manually for location base Wi-Fi? I was able to turn on icon by changing value of nfc icon from false to True in build prop.

Try to flash the framework.zip together~ see if it solve the problem~
Doesn't work for me. Tried with and without flashing framework.zip. also tried clearing davlik cache. The boot takes unusually long and the status bar is gone. Copying back the original files

Could someone please post the stock status bar?

Here it is.....
Flash it in CWM-Recovery (please wipe Dalvik Cache before flashing)
Greetz Paki
Won't work for me, flashed "with music"... without flashing framework I got a bootloop, with framework it booted but the statusbar was missing.
Wiped Dalvic Cache as suggested, some other step I might have missed? Or asked another way, can anyone confirm this working?
Running the leaked 20E and GoLauncher.

I would recommend you flash what you need from this, and then take customization further via the UOT kitchen.

I am planning to change the toggles icons, but not planning to change the battery icons.
But anyone is welcome to make his own theme and post it here.
Hi,
I have added my own take to this by changing the icons.
Use the quick panel settings to change the order of the buttons and which ones to show.
The download link is here
XperiaT_14button_toggles-gregbradley-mod.zip - 1.41 MB Now working again
Credit to peetr_ for the original port, all i have done is change a few icons.
EDIT
JB Version Here
Great, I linked your post in the OP.
Not work on Tx. Can someone port this mod for xperia Tx?

It is working, did you remove odex file of you come from stock
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
Oh, well, I forgot to mention that.
It's deodexed, so I guess the odex file should be deleted by updater-script.
For now, as the post above me says, delete SystemUI.odex, before installation.
nice mod, thanks!
BTW, there's a green square over the signal bars when wifi is disabled. Can you fix this?
Thanks in advance

Cannot switch keyboard using the swipe down option

Hi! all. I am having trouble switching keyboard types using the swipe down notification bar option. I have to go all the way to settings & assign the default keyboard from there. I have just update my phone to .253 firmware & rooted. This has been happening since the day i bought it & I thought it was a firmware bug & would be solved with the new .253 update but unfortunately its still there. I have tried other Xperia Z with same firmware & they are working fine. Hope someone can help.

we don't have any of that kind in JB, if you have updated to JB, then you have nothing to do for that...
in this case, the only way to personalize your lock screen is a third-party app, there are plenty of lock screen apps out there

OP, try removing the below apk from /system/app folder
UxpNxtLockScreen.apk
Tapatalked from my bricked TX
That week just give you the aosp lock screen not the ics Xperia lockscreen.
Try changing that file for the one from an ics Rom, not sure if it will work but give it a try and see
