My uncles one was unlocked mate. My normal gs3 from them is unlocked to as I'm using it on amaysim

Cheers, I figured it would be. Its been awhile since I have seen a decent phone locked to any Telco and I suppose its also because of how easy it is to unlcok them.
The reason I ask is because I have obtained a second GS3 4G and I will be selling it so I needed to know if its unlocked before I off load it. Id prefer to leave the phone sealed in the box,
I would try mine but 1. I dont have a foreign sim to try it on. 2. its already rooted and had a custom rom installed so there is a good chance that would have unlocked it.

Does the ROM for P7300 compatible with P7320?
I want to make sure it is compatible before I buy it.
I was attracted by the CPU clock 1.5GHz....LTE is not important to me.
Cause there's no LTE in Taiwan

Most of the time it just comes down to the fact that no developers own the device.
But what about official rom leaks from att or Samsung ? Cause they've been leaked for the skyrocket and galaxy note, can't someone leak us one? Or is it too much? I just saw on Android forums that telus is planning on updating their tab to ics in mid to late july

Correct me if I'm wrong, but once there are roms for SGH-i957, it should be easy to modify them to work on GT-P73200, shouldn't it? I mean, both 8.9 LTE Tabs are basically the same hardware wise, the only difference is the partition table layout.

I would imagine you are correct, just partition differences. I think some people on the 957 side have tried to flash 7320 roms and failed

Hi,
My question would be what is the difference between:
Samsung SGH-i957 Galaxy Tab 8.9 16GB
Samsung P7320 Galaxy Tab 8.9 16GB
thanks
Have a look at the thread Rooting the 7320. Basically, it's the same hardware, but partition layout is different.
is there any cwm custom rom for 7320?

Hi All,
Yesterday I just got a AT&T's Galaxy Note I717 that is unlocked to work on my T-Mobile which thread do I go to root it? And what rom thread do I use?
I have unlocked phones to flash roms but never had a unlocked phone for a different carrier.

Do I root it with ATT root instruction or T-Mobile root instruction? Again it's the At&t I717 unlocked and using on T-Mobile
Model # SAMSUNG -SGH-i717
Android version 2.3.6
Baseband version I717UCLA1
Kernel version 2.6.35.11
Build # GINGERBREAD.UCLA1
Thanks for all your help.
Would this be possible to do? And if so, If I flashed all the stock firmware from the Dev edition, would it be possible to recieve ota updates from HTC?

You have to consider that point.
I would say flashing firmware from the 64gb version will brick the 32. Again I'm pulling on experience from my s3 and flashing firmware from the 32gb onto my 16gb.

This is plain wrong
The storage has nothing to do with the os. Android automatically adjusts for the capacity

I can't see, atleast from a hardware standpoint, why this wouldn't work, but I am not experienced enough with android to know for certain.

Hey! My cousin just got an htc one (second hand) from someone, and it turns out to be an unlocked sprint model. Now the problem is that the software is stuck at 4.1.2 as the firmware option has been replaced by UICC unlock as the phone is unlocked...
The phone itself is rooted and it has s-off
Thanks!

is there anyway i could identify whether it is carrier unlocked?
Since you 're s-off and rooted you can always flash a rom based on newer version with Sprint support.

Yes. If you put an at&t simcard into your phone as long as it's the SM-N900A you should be able to update to 4.4.2.

If you install 4.4.2 you won't be able to root or anything else for that matter. If you really want to update to 4.4.2 don't worry. It won't erase anything on your phone.
