Super one click root
Hey all,
I just saw a youtube video on a root method called super one click.
Would that work for my nexus one 2.2.1 frg83d???
Please help.
I really want a easy root for my phone.

Yes it's really easy. I rooted my phone using that just 2 days ago. Only things you need to do is download the android sdk download the driver and the adb file. The unlockr.com has a tutorial on how to set up your driver. Then after that you connect your phone and download that super one click and use it. Good luck

thanks.
So you sure I could use it for frg83d?

The link I gave you in your other post suggested reading the wiki. The wiki will tell you what methods still work for FRG83D...
Yes, it will work...

Good grief Charlie Brown - how many times do you need to ask the same question?
Since your bootloader is unlocked, just fastboot flashort a custom recovery, then use to install a custom ROM or rooted stock ROM...

Put some effort into searching.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=705460
Also, see the Wiki Sticky thread above yours...
Can't believe he'd come in here to say "explain here and don't give links".
What does he expect? Pretty much if he can't handle figuring it out from the wiki or guides out there, he shouldn't be rooting at all.

Hi there. Welcome to the Internet. Let me explain to you how a forum works.
1) People make posts to contribute to the overall knowledge bank of the forum.
2) The posts stick around - forever. No information is ever lost.
3) If someone has an issue that isn't previously covered by another post, they post a new post looking for clarification. That post (and the posts that answer the post) also stick around forever.
4) Before you (the user) make a new post, you are expected to look around to see if your question has been answered before. This keeps the forum from being cluttered with redundant posts, and makes the useful posts easier to find.
5) You will have to click links, read multiple posts, and do a little bit of thinking and processing on your own to use what you have learned.
Please, search. Even easier, just look at the stickied threads at the top of the board. They contain links to information that covers everything you need. No one here is going to hold your hand every step of the way, at least not until you put forth some effort of your own - like the two minutes of effort to look around the board and find the information you need. If you aren't willing to put forth that effort, and expect someone to hold your hand, you really do not have any business trying to hack your device. You'll just break it, and won't know how to fix it.

First link. Now, that took approximately 4 seconds. For future reference, check out the links in my signature too.
Not closed yet, if any more threads appear, I'll just close them and warn you.
Seriously, again?
Stop it.

Has anybody found a way to remove the page share button in the stock browser?
Thanks in advance
I would like this as well, or even link it to the default share options instead of the blur social app.
Or possibly make it a refresh button.

Why? Why would you post this in development? It's a question. Did you develop something?

I thought the development section would be appropriate due to the fact that it requires accesses to root of the system of the phone, I always thought general was always for basic questions, im am so sorry for posting that in the wrong section.
I appreciate you contacting a moderator swiftly to fix this apparent huge mistake that I made.
Thanks for taking your time out of your day to correct my honest mistake and then reply with a degrading comment, your a true forum hero.

If it's a question, it's not development.

Dear Custodian,
I am assuming that your job is to keep some sort of building clean and in order. (If not, I have been mislead by your username but the following still applies)
An internet forum (and an especially large one like XDA Developers) is very similar. They need to be kept clean and our beloved mods are the custodians of this place. So Mr. Custodian, please help us keep the forums tidy and next time you create a new thread, use that search bar in the top right first to make sure you aren't creating a duplicate.
Thread closed because of the reasons detailed in the two posts above.
Hey guys I am really new to the android phones and I just got my first one recently. Wanted to get everyone's thoughts on rooting their Android phones. Like is it worth it and can you undo it as well.

I think you should start from typing HTC one in forum "find device" box above. And read stocky threads and guides to learn how to root. There are enough info when you search benifits of root. Which covers the question..

I am about to attempt to root my Nexus 5 (2013). Is SuperSU the best approach for my device or is there something else I should be using?
Thanks in advance for your help, appreciated!
You should search or find this question on appropriate forum, cos every single phone it has its own thread, so you may look at Nexus 5 forum on xda and I'm sure this question will lay there, simply take a profit from that forum instead of asking or making the question in a separate thread.
