Hey!
I heard that Samsung Ace doesn't support otg cable.
What kind of problem couses it?
Drivers or hardware problem?
Is it possible to make it working?

The Ace doesn't support OTG, period.
Why? Not the required hardware onboard.

SGA doesn't have usb host. Then this cable is useless for this phone

Hey all, I know for certain that my headset (altec lansing backbeat 903s) support mic input. I've tested it on my phone... so why not on the nook color? Last time I tried (on cm7 7.1 stable) it froze/rebooted my nc...
And I think I read something about there not being a bluetooth profile on the nc... anyone get bt working? instructions?
There are no audio input drivers for the Nook.

Could you elaborate? Does that mean no audio input is possible at all, or is it a simple matter of getting a driver running to allow input?

It is not possible right now and will most likely never be. There would have to be drivers created to support it and there doesn't seem to be much interest in getting it done.

anybody else had tried?
If you ask about the possibility I think the answer is yes. But actually implementation would require kernel level modifications. There is a thread by a developer on xda who implements USB Host mode if you provide kernel sources. I had seen that a few months back. But even then I Dont think our device can power the USB device or make the HDD spin. So most likely you would need the USB y cable to provide power externally and that will eliminate the possibility of using USB flash drives. Maybe devs can say more.

Anyone using one? I have a motorola usb on the go cable which works with my xperia S, but it doesn't work with my new xperia Z, is it a different pin out to the usual usb-otg cables or is mine faulty in some way?

I have the Samsung Camera EK-GC100. I read that the signal from HDMI is HDCP-encrypted.
It's work when i connect to HDMI monitor but when I use Blackmagic Intensity Extreme capture is not any signal to capture.
So what the way to make changes into the ROM section Samsung Camera EK-GC100 to disable HDCP-encrypted into HDMI output from the camera. I use Galaxy Camera ToolKit to make root assess but how to remove HDCP-encrypted ???
Best Regards
Charlie
I would assume that this works on hardware level. That would mean: no luck with a different ROM.

Well is a shame. I bay the stupid camera for good video sensor to be used via HDMI capture but right now is piece of junk for me.
Any way read that with Nexus 10 developers released a ROM that disabled HDCP?
Do I have some chance (hardware or software) to remove HDCP **** from HDMI output !?

Charlie
this should work.. what you think ? http://www.hdfury.com/hdmi-hdcp/hdcp-converters-and-strippers-boxes/
Any update on how you got it working ??
I am also trying to capture galaxy camera input with avermedia game broadcaster .
Thanks,
Suresh
I'm wondering about Xperia V can use with any DAC/Amp via OTG?
Has someone tried this way?
As Android supports USB audio I don't see why not as long as the voltage it pulls isn't more than the phone can give.
