Possible bootloader unlock? - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

Was just an idea.. If the bootloader is not unlockable because of the carrier, that would lead me to believe it is something deep in the firmware that is not deleted via a flash. What if you were to sim unlock the phone, wipe the os right off it and re format everything, flash a stock generic kernal and os?

Ok! Is there any info on why it wouldnt work? I mean I can understand wiping the deviceat firmware level wouldn't work.. But what if you went deeper? What if you were to repartition the disk, and start it from scratch?

If it were that simple it would have been done on every locked device long time ago... Sorry m8. But it's always good to have ideas.

Ah, your OP was a bit vague. The others, including me, were thinking that you were talking about the external storage. Have you unlocked your bootloader? Have you succesfully flashed a rom through Flashtool, without modifying any of the options?

[Q] recovery help htc one

hey guys i am new to rooting, unlocking, and installing custom roms, i have one problem i am bootloader unlocked and rooted but when i go to install a custom recovery, it tells me in the command window that it was successful but when i go to enter it, all i see is the htc logo and it says entering recovery but after 10 seconds on the screen the phone shuts off and does it every time, does anyone think im doing something wrong. iu really am stuck on this one and i tried to install both types of recovery.. maybe the root didnt work?????
You don't need root (super user) to flash the recovery. Try again. Make sure htc drivers are installed and the phone is recognized by the computer. Also, you may have had a bad download of the recoveries. Try downloading again. I just used the files from the sticky Q&A thread and my recovery install was very quick and painless. Good luck.

Long hold power and volume down. It should eventually take you to bootloader where you can select boot to recovery and restore a backup. If you don't have one, do an adb sideload of a known working Rom .

[Q] Unlockable Z bootloader won't unlock in any way!!

I really need help unlocking my bootloader. I know I can unlock it since it says Yes in the service menu. I've been trying both fastboot and flashtool, but none of them seem to work. It keeps saying FAILED <remote: Command did not succeed>. It seems that the key Sony sent me is not correct...but I checked it many times and I also made them resend me the key, and it is the same! Really I don't know what to do now.
I think you need to remove the last digit.
Read the instructions carefully.
Sent from my C6603 using xda premium
GM007 the last digit you speak about is the IMEI last digit, not the KEY last digit...Read the instructions carefully please. Sony won't even accept as correct a full 15 letters IMEI, wants just 14.Hower the result doesn't change, I have already tried in many alternative ways...

Did you manage to get your phone onto the EURO Firmware or you just unlocked your current firmware ?
To unlock the phone and install a custom ROM I take it that you must root the device first so :-
1) root
2) Unlock
3) cwm
4) custom rom
