Well I was installing a custom system ui. And I didn't make a ss backup. My bad I know. Well the phone wouldn't boot up past recovery so I deleted the ROM slot and created a new one to reinstall a fresh copy of joker but when flashing the gapps the screen flashes off then goes back to the add zip screen. Any ideas?

Is the joker ROM deodexed?
I didn't try the ota kitchen with my deodexed ROM, but I did notice a few features with it. For instance, double pressing the Home key would bring up voice commands. Not sure if it was because of my deodexed ROM, or my three year old messing with settings

Hey guys so after days trying to fix the camera I bricked my phone and waiting for replacement now. ICS camera won't work I was able to get it to connect but then it would crash and the device would reboot. We need boot loader unlocked or 4.2.2 I'll be back to give it another try .

How do you brick a phone while on safestrap? I tried doing the same with JB libs and any crashes were solved by a simple hard reboot.
Which libs were you messing with?
That's odd. How'd that brick it?!

Mounted /system, wiped and reset, then flashed Batakang Rises and gapps... I can't complain at all! Haven't had any FCs or anything. Battery life is much better for sure!

I was looking through my files in a file manager app and I came upon a folder called "0" (zero, or maybe the letter o). I opened it and it contained a whole bunch of folders filled with stuff I had from old ROMs I installed. I was just wondering if it is important or not? Can I delete it?

Not sure about that. I would keep it unless someone that knows more says it's fine to delete. I don't think it's used by holoblur, but it may be used by other ROMs you may want to flash later.
I have that in my stock ROM as well. I don't think there is an easy way to get rid of it.

You have to leave it. Something with the roms causes that to happen and if you delete one it'll delete the other.

make a backup in cwm then first test by renaming and if you do not come across issues then delete
ps this is experimental so you must be prepared flash back to stock and lose a'll your info

I've noticed that as well on my phone, tested a couple of custom Roms like LiquidSmooth before coming back to HoloBlur. For me it was data files/folders from the stock build, was in a folder called "0" in the root of the internal memory. It's old data that I needed so I moved it back to the root directory and overwritten/merged with whatever new folders that were created (since they were fresh/empty folders anyway) and then I deleted the 0 folder.
It's safe to do so, one of custom Roms that was flashed moved all the internal data to that 0 folder during the install.

What ROM did you come from? Usually CyanogenMod makes directories like that. I am running my own customized version of CM and my sdcard is not "/storage/sdcard" but is really "/storage/legacy/0 (or 1 depending on internal or external sdcard)". If you are sure that it is from an old rom than by all means delete it if you don't want it. (Note: I take no responsibility for lost or damaged files)
I always do a system format and data abs cache never had this pop up
