Wouldn't a flash drive take...like...almost nothing? I'm thinking MAYBE...is my non technical opinion, perhaps Half a % more per unit of time?
Well I'm thinking you would have to power an entire new board providing 5v at varying mA

Hi
Anyone knows if I can use this to charge my original battery? I have its 3100mah battery and this charger. Was thinking of using this to charge my original Samsung battery when I'm using the details seven battery. Will it spoil my original battery? Thanks.

It'll work fine but it'll take longer to charge.

Shouldn't be a problem.

I wonder if it could be enabled with a update or would it be a hardware thing.

I understand that, what I should of said was, I wonder if the hardware is there and can be enabled, and why would they put it in the DNA and not this phone

There is a fast charge on the wolfpack kernal... Don't know if that is the same thing or not...
Sent from my HTCONE using xda app-developers app
I don't want fast charge. Doesn't that reduce the life of the battery faster?
Sent from my HTCONE using xda app-developers app
Think fast charge is how the phone charges over usb... Supposed to charge just as fast when connected to a pc as it does when on ac charger
Sent from my HTCONE using xda app-developers app
Thought they left it out to save the battery over time since it is not user replaceable ?
Anyone else seeing their N7 take FOREVER to charge? When fully charged, 100% lasts a long time, but once it hits 99%, buh-bye battery... Then while plugged in it takes hours just to get a 10% increase in charge... It started while running 4.2.2 rooted stock, and continues running 4.3 stock Unrooted... Just wondering, kinda annoying...

Try resetting your battery stats..

Are you using original charger and cable, and not charging via USB?

Purchase a better charger. I use my HP Touchpad charger which pulls 1000mA.

Yeah, original charger & cable. Charges faster on my AHD cable than it does on its own...

Just want to second what others have said: it all comes down to the charging cable. My HTC rezound and Galaxy Note 2 official chargers work, but others (like my Kindle fire charger) take forever

I've noticed that, but it only started within the last couple weeks. Worked fine for about 6 months then (fart noise)...

Mines slow as well. Stock rooted. Using the charger it came with. I'm gonna try to use my HTC one charger since it pumps out a higher voltage.

Mine did this too. From what I've read its a common fault with nexus 7s. Mine was less than a year old so I took it back to where I got it from and they replaced for a new one.
Managed to get a 32gb one instead though as they didn't stock the 16gb one anymore so that was pretty sweet.

When mine did this I just installed a new ROM, been on Sentinal ROM for a few months now and battery life and charge times are better than ever

Have you tried turning it off and charging it? Or booting into recovery and charging?
I have tried it off and how do I charge in recovery?

Boot into recovery and leave it plugged in. Philz touch recovery will actually tell you the percentage of your battery charge

Well, it was worth a shot. I hope you find a solution to your problem . It might involve buy a new battery. I would recommend the eb40 ghetto Maxx mod if you're going to buy a new battery anyways.
