[Q] Help joining two systemui.apk in one - Galaxy S Advance I9070 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello there, im a noob here in Xda Forum, so dont be so rude on me.
So, i installed this mod for my notification bar:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2137808
Because of the blue icons (they are very cool)
Looking for more to mod in my phone i came across this one:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2136082
Pretty cool too.
Then i decide to join both of them in one
Blue icons+No Brightness control
Here is the result:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_share": "Share",

}
Cool ha?
Yes, except for one thing!
The Clock.
I couldnt find the file to edit the color of the clock...
So guys, im asking for you who have more knowledge than me to tell me what file i must edit to turn the clock into blue.
I know that in the first thread(first link) the clock is blue, but after i made de join the clock became white.
So, if anyone know how i edit to blue i will be grateful.

That's pretty cool man, good job! I tried to do the same thing here but was unsuccesfull :/ All I wanted was tahapapun's great notification/status bar without the brightness slider. You happen to have an edited apk that you could share with us? Or a simple overall tutorial, that would be great!
Also, you should ask tahapapun, after all, he turned the clock to blue as well. Tell him about your work in his thread, he'll gladly help you

What method did you use to join the apks? The only thing you need to do to remove brightness slider, is changing one line in bools.xml. you could try replacing the bools.xml or you can edit the line yourself.

Xperia clock widget:partially working

Hi,
A while ago I installed a rom which had bits and pieces of the Sony Ericcson Xperia X10 look and feel. I thought that the digital clock widget could look nice on other roms so here it is.
The downside of this clock is that it does not look so good on bright colored wallpapers.To remedy that I changed the font used to a bolder one.
I don't know it this is a 'free' widget so if in any doubt I will remove it ofcourse.
Enjoy
Nice find have you been able to get anything else working from the x10?
Nice work. I've been trying to figure out how to port this to another ROM for a couple days now. Good job.
Awesome clock
Is there any way to make it larger?
I didn't do a lot to 'make it work'.
Used apktool to extract the bits and pieces. Changed the font and rebuild with apktool, resigned the package and that's it...
Changing the (java)code is not something that is within my capabilities though, if I could find a way to get the code I could give it a try...
I could try messing with some of the layout settings and such, but miss the time to do it. Will see next week...
screenies?
Any chance of putting up the one with the original font?
I prefer the original font for the more "clean look" haha.
here you go,

[HELP] Slider bar color

Hi, I've themed my different framework-res.apk for months, and I've been able to change almost everything, but for some reason I can't find how to change the color of the slider bars, as well as its shapes or borders. What I want to change is marked in red.
In the picture, those bars are electric blue, the three of them. I guess it's in some xml, but can't find the value. For the edges, well, it must be some png, but also can't find it :S

}
Could anyone help me? Maybe it's not framework-res.apk, so I don't mind if it's lge-res.apk (using LG), the equivalent to htc.resources.apk or so.
Thanks in advance.
progress_horizontal.xml in res/drawable.
If you wanna change the slider pngs you need to redirect the imgs in that xml.

If it works you will be my hero. Will test it tomorrow.
Thank you very much!!

Yeah it works perfect. I have to experiment a little bit because I made it all white but I know what to do (there are three values that I set to same white for testing).
About the edges, it's not png, it's the value "radius" in the same xml.
You were simple and clear. Thank you very much!!

Yeah I know about the edges, I was just saying, if you wanna use pngs for the bars (e.g. like in the honey bread theme), instead of changing the colour and the shape of it.
But yeah np

No since you have to push/flash framework-res.apk, and that requires root.

Faenza Theme for MIUI

Hi guys this is Faenza theme for the MIUI. I only collected stuff for this theme and put them in MTZ, so all credits go for people who made all that stuff in theme.

Awesome thank you!
good job Did you also changed notifications, dialer, sms etc? Or only icons, and statusbar?
Dialer is same, for sms are only colors change, and some color in system are change.
You should include the status bar icons from faenza, I did that for my old inexusmatte theme, had to edit the battery myself.
Looks nice man

SMS Icon

I saw this pic while reading an article and if you look at the icon for text messaging that on the phone in the pic. Its read and black instead of the standard green. I've been trying to find this icon everywhere cause I think it look hella badass but I haven't had any luck. Does anyone know where I can find it

Hard to see, but I think the red is from another app that's behind the SMS app.
I may be able to create a custom icon for you if you like

That would be cool of you, if you did a black SMS icon for me. How do you make em ? Photoshop ?
Also, i was gonna ask in your ICS THeme thread, but i will just ask you here. I just downloaded the latest update and i dig it. THe only thing that i think would be sweet would be changing the 4G icon to match the other ICS style icons. Just a thought. Oh and the lil loading spinner thing. I just did it myself using Metamorph, they had a download for it on DroidPirate, but that would be cool if it came with your theme. Also, are you planning on themeing some launcher/app drawer ICS-style icons eventually ? Right now I just the ADW Theme on top of yours and it works, but it would be cool if i didn't have to. And plus there theme doesn't change every icon to match the Icons in ICS, only a few of em. So right now I am going through and changing the .png files for the icons in the actual App folder, so that way it shows up on both the app drawer and the home screen/dock.
Looks like a blacked out android SMS icon with ics blue smilie face... its in a folder, so the red is from the app behind it... now I want that icon! Haha

[Jelly Bean 4.1.1] Where to find the file for blue slider in the notification bar

Hi there,
I am looking for the file, where the blue slider is located, when I pull down or push up the Notification bar, right under the name of the provider.
To clarify what I mean, I will add a screenshot down below. My device is a Galaxy Nexus - Stock Rom beside the small color changes I made.
Best regards, thanks in advance and sorry for the bad english
Gastalia
P.S.: I'm not allowed to post links, but I hope you do understand what I mean

Most probably in systemui.apk(system/app) or framework-res.apk(system/framework) . Though i didnt check myself...
That was also my guess,
so i decompiled both apk's, but I can't find anything reasonable in the values or drawable-xhdpi folders. Perhaps I'm also overseeing something, but I checked alot of statusbar or notification related files and couldn't find anything.
Does anyone out there know where exactly this is stored?
Thanks in advance

Thanks for the answer, but thats not what I was looking for. It seems you still have ICS and my "line" is where you have the green circle. So to speak the point where you pull down or push the notifications up.
In Jelly Bean you don't have this circle, but a grey line, that changes its color to blue when you drag it.
Besides that I don't find a titleDivider in the xml-files that are stored in the layout-folder.
I hope you know what I mean, otherwise I could send you the picture, if that helped you.
