ICS deep sleep problem finally and totally solved

Dear all,
I faced all the problems you mentioned in the other posts about this problem. I used all the impractical solutions also mentioned to remove battery and to go to plane mode and to download cpuspy and other applications.
What really solved the porblem for me came to me just by accidentent. an ad for app came to me. it is called NQ security, it is actually a security suite more than an app. My battery was almost consumed after four hours of full charge, now it is running for full two days without power save or disabling anything 3g, wifi or bluetooth or even display was left to auto.
This app NQ security scanned my mobile and found two applications as threat, I don't know why they were threat. I downloaded them from google play not hacked. NQ asked me to uninstall them and of course I did and voila everything was solved as I explained earlier.
Why did this happen, it is my only guess and might be wrong. Some applications acts crazy due to not a full compatibility with ICS that made some services keep running and prevent deep sleep. This mad activity was detected as abnormal or a threat by NQ.
Please if any has a better explanation please post here.
Thanks to all of you
Interesting. I wonder how wakelock app were perceived as a threat. Maybe it was a coincidence...
Personally I use CPU spy to see if he phone gets decent sleep time and if not I use system panel and battery stat apps to identify misbehaving app.

I used CPUspy for a while, but warmth of the phone is quite a good indicator that it has no deep sleep. Please try the NQ security to see it yourself.
regards
I've found a different solution. I'm using speedmod kernel and do a simple reboot just after unplugging in the morning and my phone makes it to the end of day with 30% battery. Without speedmod and the reboot it use to be dead 2 or 3 hours before I was ready to plug it in. Works for me anyway.
I will give NQ a try and report back.
This sleep problem is driving me nuts.
Just lost 33% battert in a couple of hours after full charging. checked CPU spy and it was sitting on 200MHz.

hi, from what i know ur situation is that u always stay in at least 200 mhz of cpu using after unplugged, right?
i have the same problem too in the early days, but problem will gone as u notice some glitch below:
if u usualy charge the phone in switch off states, it's ok, but if u r charging the phone in switch on states, take note that when u unplugged the phone while it was still screen lock states, the phone system will think that u didn't plug off the charging, although ur screen didn't show, and the cpu will kill on active in 200 mhz states, so, all u need to do is to reboot ur device, to reset the detection of the charging, and remember next time don't unplug the charging while its under screen lock states.
also, if there is too many noticefication on the top bar, it might too active the phone too 200mhz, clearing it would solve the problem.
now i can keep my phone over night (10pm-8am) with just 25%, and just 1% for the night, sometimes even less

Phone Runs at 51Mhz while charging

after update to V20a Euro Open, when i put to charge my phone at nights, it's never get fully charge, i use CPU Spy and notice that the phone, runs at 51Mhz all night, i installed BetterBatteryStats, but i don't see none application running overnight, how can i do to know what is using CPU at that speed? obviously the phone doesn't enter to deep sleep mode, but when is not charging, the phone enter in deep sleep mode normally
When it is charging it can`t enter in deep sleep because its working on 51Mhz(charger produces that frequency..)
Are you telling me that is normal? Even when the battery only reach about 95% of fully charge? When i had v20a leak that behavior never happens

How do you mean the batt only reaches 95%? You can`t fully charge your battery?
That's right, rhe phone runs all night at 51Mhz

Yeah, but with the phone running at 51Mhz, it should be able to charge completely.
Even running at a higher speed, i.e. browsing the web, playing some lighter games. It might not be the healthiest thing for your battery, but it shouldn't impede a full charge.

well but that is the problem i'm trying to find a way to know what process are running when the phone is charging and i can't find an app that show me that, the only thing that calls my attention was Audiut2 Wakelock i thought that is the problem, but i was reading and some foros says that wakelock is normal when you use some sounds like the screens sounds or lock or unlock sounds, or something like that
You have to do a dumpfile with BBS. Allow all root access and thick all options in advances settings. Leave the phone over night and in the morning do a dumpfile..

please, can you explain how to do a dumpfile? in options i check all options available in dumpfile except other stats, partial wakelocks stats, and kernel wakelocks stats, now, how can i do the dumpfile, or is automatic?

Other stats, partial wakelocks stats, and kernel wakelocks stats are automatically checked. Go into advanced settigns, there everything is checked except "private storage" and "enable while charging". Charge your phone, leave it over night,in the morning do a file dump. you have a share icon at the top, click it and then share as text dumpfile..And then you post it on XDA!

[Q] Disable temperature check?

Is there a way to disable temperature check for battery and CPU on CM7 rom on X8. I know that i can delete sysmon.cfg for some rom-s, but this one doesnt have one.
the problem isn't in the app, maybe some modules, why would you want it removed anyways?

Do you use an app for that?
i need to disable temperature sensor becouse of wrong readings, i have battery that overheats and turns off the phone, but when i tape middle pin on battery readings are fine, so i need software solution to disable readings of android temperature

Enable Battery Saver with NFC?

Anyone know of a way to enable Battery Saver mode via NFC? I know it's easy enough to go into the settings and enable it manually but just thought it would be cool if I could just tap an NFC tag on my nightstand before I go to sleep.
As explained on your AC thread you need to read up on battery saver, as it does not do what you think it does. Enabling battery saver in settings turns on savings from 15-0% by shutting down background data. Has no effect above 15%. Chris

You're right. I read in one article that you could enable it at higher percentages but that was wrong. My bad.

Temperature Sensor - Battery Charging Issue

I recently changed batteries. After a single charge cycle, the temperature sensor now gives an obviously false -30 or -20 C. This prevents the battery from charging. An Xposed app called Sensor Disabler allows you to control the sensors. Unfortunately, Xposed isn't working on Nougat which I am running. Anyone know of an alternative app for this purpose? Anyone know how to write an app for this purpose? Anyone know where the temperature sensor is located and how to replace/ fix it? No longer under warranty, so that won't work.. Any other suggestions?

My guess is you messed up putting one of the plugs back in... The battery temp sensor is in either the battery harness(probably not) or the wireless charger (more likely)...
Take it apart again and make sure the connections are made properly

Right you are! Thank you for your help.
Hello. I've changed battery too. But battery temp always 25 degree C°. And moreover any app can't display cpu temp anymore. How can it be? I admit the battery sensor is bypassed (China's battery). But what happened with cpu temp sensors?
Thanks for your opinion.
