I d/led from Google server the 4.22 file. Used the fastboot method to flash.
Wiped everything before the flash.
When I goto:
Phone
Dial *#*#4636#*#*
at menu select WDMCA and then select preferred network type
Select LTE/GSM/CDMA
The LTE/GSM/CDMA option is still there. I thought it was disabled in the
4.22 firmware? Maybe the FULL flash keeps it as opposed to the update zip?

Try selecting it. It changes to WCDMA preferred.

Which loaded on a rom? (XWJQ4???).
What is the exact problem?
GSM network = edge/2G
UMTS = 3G/Hspa
Settings/Wireless and network/Mobile networks/Network mode --> chose WCDMA only or GSM/WCDMA (auto).
The data may not be possible to go?
-To set correct APN settings!!

Hi,
As stated in the topic, i have a HTC One (International version) that has been running HD Revolution 11. Today I upgraded the firmware on it, and installed HD Revolution 11.5, and now it seems that it no longer have LTE support.
When i go into the settings and try to enable it, i have longer have any LTE option, just WCDMA, GSM or GSM / WCDMA auto.
Is this HD Revolution 11.5 that is doing it, or have the firmware upgrade messed it up?
Seems like its the rom and not firmware causing this since *#*#INFO#*#* gives me the option to enable LTE, its just not showing as an option in the settings menu.

11.5 is based on the Taiwanese 4.2.2 release for the M7_U model which does not have LTE capability and thus the reason why you can't access LTE in settings.
You have found the solution to re-enable so you should be good but note every time you try to access in settings LTE will be disabled again.
This is temporary and will be resolved when the WWE 4.2.2 build appears.
sorry for my bad English, i use a translator
Bought yesterday on the phone and it worked 3g HSDPA, after flashed on Viper ROM only works in GSM!!! Help please ((crying:
Try changing the network mode to WCDMA only, Type *#*#4636#*#* in the dialer. Select phone information and scroll down to network type and then select WCDMA only.
You might also want to check your APN settings, If your network provider has different APNs for 2G and 3G, you will have to select the 3G one.

It all happened after i flashed my phone to stock rom by using guru reset 3.x
I was using 3g successfully on bad boyz rom 5.x..
Now i even have got the OTA update for lollipop but my 3g doesn't seem to work at all .....
Please help !!!!
Couple of things:
1. The icons have probably changed. To get back the H and E symbols you'll have to edit the default.xml file. Navigate to system > customize > ACC > default.xml. I'd recommend downloading Root Browser to do this. Open the default.xml file using RB Note Editor and scroll all the way down. Around 20-25 lines from the bottom, you'll see the line

xx

The xx will be a numeric value like 98 or something. Change this value to 42 if you're from Europe or 33 if you're from Asia. You can also change it to 0 which is the default HTC value. The line should now be:

42

Make sure you save it before exiting. Reboot your phone and you should now see the E, 3G, and H symbols indicating your network connection.
2. Did you do a speedtest? What speeds are you getting?
Hi there:
I had a rooted nexus 6 with Android 6.
I was playing with chmod and root and messed up some system permissions.
I have re-installed several Nexus 6 Google images 5.1 6.0 etc...
I have everything except cellular signal. It says no service and sometimes no sim card.
I have taken my sim and put it in another phone and it worked.
When I go to *#*#4636#*#*
It says GSM: emergency service only and GPRS service: disconnected.
I tried to change the network type to GSM only and others with no success.
Any help to further diagnose this would be appreciated..
Thanks

Very good point.
When I flashed 6.0.1
under cellular network settings , I only see Data raoming, Preferred network type and System select.
no APN settings
When I re-flashed 5.0.1 , I could see the apn settings, but when I go to it, it says something like that the user doesn't have permission to view the settings. I even tried to add a new settings and save it, but the message stayed there and I see no APN list at all..
I might have messed up the APN permissions with chmod, but I would think a system re-flash would have corrected it..
Thanks

Does your IMEI match the number on your SIM card tray?
Suddenly phone lost all its signals. I tried other SIMs, they work in other phones but not in mine. I also flashed MIUI in hope that it will recover my signals, but to no avail. Has anyone else gone through similar procedure and fixed the issue? Thanks.
Flash using fastboot
Sent from my MI 3W using Tapatalk
I had such issue when i selected radio band of usa in *#*#4636#*#* menu. I lost my signal. I flashed different roms using twrp but none helped.
Lastly i flashed official cm 13.
In it i selected automatic in radio band and signals were back.
Very few roms are there having automatic menu under radio band menu.
*#*#4636#*#* -> phone info -> three dots on right upper side -> radio band -> automatic.
Hoped this helped you.
