I was wondering if there is some kind of mod to enable fast charge my phone takes a insane amount of time to charge. I need it to charge faster Ive read that the snapdragon 600 support fast charge. Or did the kernel htc make limit it or is it a hardware thing ?

HTC didnt enable it because they wanted to get the most life out of the battery they can since its a nonremovable. Not sure if its supported on custom kernels or not.

Yeah I read that that's why they did that but I wonder if someone could enable it. This phone takes like 3 hours to charge lol that's not very convenient for me personally

Hi, I have broken nexus 7 (dropped) with working battery. I bought new nexus 7 few months ago. I also bought leather case. I took battery out of my old nexus and it's slim enought to fit inside case without any notecible bumps. I wonder how could I connect it to my new nexus to get that extra battery life. I assume usb port would be just fine, but what about charging? Any ideas are wellcome. Also I know my way around soldering gun.

I assume that black wires are negative (ground), red are positive. And white with yellow should be data to inform device on battery stats/charging etc.

I could get micro usb connector and solder wires to apropriate pins. But I don't know about data pins. How could I charge it? And how I would know if it's charged. Is that board soldered with battery capable telling me if battery is charged with added led diode or something.

So after googling for a while I found out that white and yellow wires should be data/trehmal. Don't know wich is wich yet. And don't know how to read it. I pressume I should create extra board for reading battery charge and adding basic led indicator for charging/charged information.

I don't have the iriginal charger, so I use a 1amper charger I used on my Sensation. The charger of the One seems to be the same, so why does my phone charge so slow? For the first time today I played a game and the battery discharges while the charger us plugged in. Maybe the input is limited, cause the phone knows it's not the original charger? Please help

Battery monitor widget. It's free and shows the current charge in mAh and graphic. Note that the phone charges faster when on low battery and than slows down. Anything over 900 mAh is a good charger

So you know the charging icon when the m7 is switched off? Is there a way to display that when the phone is charging and switched on?
