I ordered a samsung microsdhc 32gb class 10 card but I received a samsung plus UHS-I Card. Does anyone use an UltraHighSpeed Card ? I would like to know if this speed class is compatible with our razr i before I open it. Because if not, I will send it back to get the proper one I've ordered.
Thanx.

Yeah I'm not sure on the difference myself but going by the sandisk website they call it a UHS-I card so I'd guess its the same standard

Yeah, looks the same. Thank you. One last thing, when you use it for the first time, did you used the razr I to format it or not ?

I think I did, well I'm pretty sure it does it itself when it mounts the SD card for the first time, but don't quote me on that

Because I was migrating from a class 6 to a UHS-1 I simply dumped the card contents to a folder on PC, and transferred everything - so the formatting was handled by the PC. If you were to let the device handled it.
If you were to let the device format it and used it to copy any existing content over you'd be using horribly slow MTP - much better off with a card reader.
R: UHS-I [Ultra High Speed] microSDHC card
Hi,
transfer benchmark noticed samsung 32Gb class 10 UHS 1 to be x3 times faster than SanDisk uhs 1 (both found and bought on Amazon from hongkong affiliated shop)

There must be 2 symbols:
- a U with a 1 inside
- a circle indicating the class
it must be at least 10

I confirm that the Samsung microsdhc Plus UHS-1 32gb class 10 works great on the phone. I made a bench yesterday and got 11.9 for R/W

Hi to all again
I'm just woundering will my sgs support a 32gb sd card and also which class dose it support as well as i've been looking at the class 10s.
cheers

Yes the galaxy supports 32gb card, just make sure its a micro damn hard to make a normal one fit! A class 4 would probably be sufficient dont know if you would gain anything with a class 10 and would also be less expensive.

Lol they seem to lose a significant amount of integrity when you pound a full size sd card in a micro sd slot.
Swyped from a galaxy far far away.
Soz guys i ment an external micro sd card.lol

I replaced my Transcend 16GB Class6 microSDHC with a Kingston 32GB Class10.
According to SD-Tools I had 6-7 MB/s before while now it ranges between 9 and 13 MB/s. So write speed is definitely better.
Thanks for the help, were's the best place to get your sd card from.?????.
Cheers

Just search for the product ID SDC10/32GB
hi,
I'm just looking at upgrading my HD7 to 32gb. I've found a class 4 card that i know will work 100%, but i'd much rather buy a class 10 card. Does anyone know if SanDisk SDSDQU-032G-U46A will work ok? available on amazon. or has anyone else had a class 10 32gb card working in their handset?
thanks in advance
will keep this thread posted with updates to try help others in future!
I know some guys are using a 32gb - Class 10 - micro SDHC in their hd7's and just about any 32gb micro SD or micro SDHC card will work now... Just not micro SDXC cards. Not a 100% sure if the SDSDQU model will work for sure though, but if it's a newly manufactured card it should work! If there's a return policy, get it and try it, if it doesn't work return it and get the 32gb - class 10 - SDHC.
You can bench the card that you get in a PC using CrystalDiskMark 3 http://crystalmark.info/download/index-e.html
and use the 4000MB setting. Then you can post what type of card you got and the benchmark test results in this thread here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=883582
and theses guys should be able to help you further with it!

I just picked up a HD7 to have a play with WP7. Was not intending to upgrade it but when I inserted the sim it did not go in correctly so I had to remove the back anyway. I had a 32GB Lexar class 10 which I know people have reported as not working. I've been running it for five days with no issues. I've loaded music, movies and apps all run nice and fast with no stuttering
the only card that work very good is only old class 2...Sandisk is perfect!
Im using a sandisk 32gb class 10 the red and black one with no problems at all
rocking a sandisk 64gb here
I dont know wether my galaxymini support SanDisk Mobile Ultra MicroSDHC class 10 16gb/ Micro SDHC (TF) 16GB SAMSUNG Pro UHS-1 Class 10 or not ?
by the way, galaxymini support MicroSd Class 10 ?

YES
Mini has a little internal memory and a application like fruit ninja run much smooth with a big external memory ( need a lot of memory and data ) of course the microsd must have class 10
Any brand suggestions for class10 sd cards for mini? I'm planning on buying a 16GB sdcard.
I like sandisk, dont know why
---------- Post added at 08:47 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:46 PM ----------
But are there any big differences between different brands? I think it depends more on which class it is

thanks guys! I've used both kingston and sandisk but only up to 8GB. I'm concerned if the 16GB SDs from them can still perform well and I'm still looking for a class 10 though. It was always out of stock in the stores here.

I have been using that exact Lexar card you referenced for several months. I used it first in a Galaxy S3, and then moved it over to the Note 2.
I have not had any issues nor corruptions, and have been very pleased with it.
I would buy it again without question!
please of anyone tested both cards tell me
i need to decide urgently
Thanx a lot

Is Class 10 really needed for Mobile device ... or only class 4 will work for Mobile full Hd record and Burst mode shooting ??

about sandisk's bad reviews - a while back they had an ultrabad batch of cards that failed pretty consistently and they gained a bad rap for it - apparently they're better / fixed now, but fwiw, i've had every brand fail on me (literally; patriot, lexar, sandisk etc) but I might be the exception to the usage details as I'm swapping machines all day
My last card was a Lexar 32 c10 and it worked perfectly for over a year. It's now in my wife's G3. I've been using a Sandisk 64 c10 for the last few months and it's also working flawlessly. I think you're fine with either one.
i got the Sandisk 32 class 10
that is the first step to do to start using it now ?
format on computer or plug it to the phone directly ?

You could simply plug it in to the phone (while it's off of course) and format the card within the phone as well
I have done that too as well. I recently bought a 32gb micro sd for my Note2 sgh-i317 and for my gs3 a 64gb micro sd sgh-i747

I use a SanDisk Ultra MicroSDXC 64 Go Class 10, it work PERFECTLY in my SP even if normally it "support only" 32GB .
I just format it in FAT32, because some of root-app (i.e. FolderMount) don't like very much exFAT x)
I heard some said that even 128GB microSD is working with XSP
