Hi,
i just flashed the Eagleblood after a brick and back 2 life with nvflash, what's happened now is the gapps, won't work ,more precise the play store,it says server error-retry and that's it.First i installed this version "gapps-jb-20120726-signed" and then because of the same issue i just looked out for another, and i found this one and installed "gapps-ics-20120317-signed".
Gmail is set and work,wifi-ok ,play store ... retry...
Could i have any help ? otherwise can't download anything from market

clean wipe(data, dalvik and cache) ....format system from advanced menu in CWM....then reflash the ROM and then the ICS gapps.....your issue will be solved/
DONT FORGET to make a backup for your personal data including user installed apps.....use Titanium or GO backup
These gapps freaking me out... i did flash cm 10 but... after few days i did the update from the cm menu, installing was ok,everything but...gapps of course.Tried to install the udate from cwm also ok, after installing gapps when open the phone it says gapps was stop or something else was stop and is broke cant use it.
Done again the flash on proqmaq ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1975274 ), installed gapps = working.
If i try to udate somehow no matter if i do a clean wipe or not i'll have the message at starting that some is stop .... and so
What i do wrong or what should i do to have everything working after update ?
Thx in advance !!!!

So the question would be, what do you mean by 'doing the update' ? Are you going from CM10 to CM10 or maybe from CM10 to CM10.1, which would probably need you to install different gapps, since you are coming from 4.1.2 and going to 4.2.1 .

Hi everyone. I just recently flashed the new 6.0 froyo cyanogen and its amazing. At first, when I flashed it I had 2 problems.
1. No Market app
2. I didn't get a setup screen for my gmail.
That problem I fixed by downloading and flashing the google apps zip thing.
Now, there's a new problem.
1. Market continues to say "connection failed, retry or cancel" for everthing I try to download. I press on and download.
2. I basically cannot download anything at all.
3. Youtube as well isn't working... I get the same thing as the market.
I did see a google chrome apk in a cyanogenmod website, it said it would help? I don't remember with what though.
Do I need SDK in order to use apps?
- Thanks.
Did you flash the correct google apps? It schould be named gapps-mdpi-FRF91-3-signed.zip.
Did you wipe before flashing?
What version of CM6 did you flash? If it was a nightly, try another one ore RC2.

Yes, thats the name of the Google apps i flashed. The name of the cyanogen rom i flashed is -
update-cm-6.0.0-DS-RC2-signed
I tried flashing everything once more on my rooted G1.
This time i flashed DangerSPL. It was probably the reason it didnt work. I will post back if it works.
If i install http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1313650 my i9001 will be better at battery and more faster or it is only for desing .. ?
why dont u give it a try? u have nothing to lose, and flashing takes less than 10 minutes
if i install this ... i dont know how to back to old sys ... i dont know somethinks like a backup or somethinks and i want to know if is better to install or no ?

I think you can just reflash a stock ROM with Odin.
i'm new in android .. explain me what is reflash .. delete all application , games ?
Just take a look at my/sakindia's site.
http://sakindia123.prophecy.li/how-tos/install-cranium-rom-rc8
There is all written what you need to know.
I mean its not that hard. So i think you can do it also
For me -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1457437
better as CR8 alway make my phone lag.

Reflash means flashing a ROM over your existing one. Deleting all user data is called wiping. If you're new, you should read the Wiki before doing anything with your phone.
rc4 installed working phone but email menu forced to closed :;((
rc8 odin end cwm mode installed i9001 not working
boot screen opening to restrart boot screen wipe all data not working
You just need another Kernel and flash it over RC8. Try v6 Kernel or Feamod 1.2/1.3/1.4.

Hello everyone , i have had this problem since forever , i can't get a normal google play store
first , the ( APPS ) homepage of the store doesn't update it self meaning that it gives me recommendations once and forever
2nd , i can't access the homepage of the market by clicking the top left google play store icon ( it's just not clickable ) , iam running the latest triamislim rom on ICS and i have the latest GAPPS installed :s
i have had this problem on JB as well , i tried marketunlocker / market enabler . but they don't seem to do much but show me the payed apps
Try this steps :
1- go to CWM and >> wipe data/cache/dalvik ;;;
2 - format system .
3- install any Gingerbread rom using odin.
4- open google play and install any app.
5- done.... you can flash any rom without problems now !

Best & simpelst is to come fresh from stock so when u encounter problems during process its easier to help so we dont have to ask what changed, when it occured (we dont know all the changes that have been made in the past) & come with solutions that"ll fix it or **** it up more & ull be more frustated. Just say the easy "factor". Plus I know in most cases it will be running without problems afterwards & ull be satisfied with x-bean or whatever rom u prefer. Just start over from "scratch" starting with flashing 3 file stock rom via odin.
Here odin & pits use 512 tick repartition: http://db.tt/yHvd2Brm
JVU rom: http://db.tt/z0WBjcFk
Flash it
When done flash
Cf root: http://db.tt/2Qre1j2k
Now u rooted go into recovery, do a full wipe (data, cache, dalvik), flash custom rom of your choice. U may have to flash custom 2 or 3 times. I recommend x-bean cuz its Running smooth & stable here. Hope u like it 2.
My tip is make a nandroid backup when custom rom is just installed & running fine. And make some more at several points of satisfaction when personalizing your rom
If you make changes afterwards & problems occure & cant fix it or find a good solution, u can just restore with the nandroid backup so u dont have to start from scratch again. It just saves u time in the future.

Did the problems also occure in GB? Or did it start when u were on jb? Either way try JVU like i mentioned in previous post, see if it makes a difference in gb. & maybe the gapps u flashed werent suitable for the jb rom u chose. X-bean has it included by the way.
About x-bean I would give it a try. Experiences are just opinions. There are always complains about every rom. But for me I dont have problems multitasking, battery life i can manage a working day, average i think between 4 or 5 hours screen on time at lowest brightness. When I go 2 sleep & wake up (mostly 8 hours) battery draining between a 2/5 %. I keep wifi on.
My settings LiveOc 120, big mem 404, ondemand ui, noop/sio, rasd 1024. Still satisfied Running smooth & stable
But at the end its on u to try it out.just flash a couple different roms, experience it & make a choice. The beauty of it is, if u dont like (anymore) flash another one till u find ur "dreamgirl"

First, you should always flash the Gapps right after flashing the ROM to avoid random issues.
Now, when flashing in between ROM, do you clean flash? (wipe everything but sd)
Did you try going back to stock KK4 (without bootloaders) and working your way back up?
thanks a lot for your answers, I just installed again Slim Bean and Gapps and there is no error anymore so yay!
have a lovely day everyone!
I've got a GT-I9350, and I've been on RipperROM for a while, and I just flashed v20 onto my phone.
Now I can't receive any phone calls at all, the ringtone goes, but the screen goes black, then com.android.phone crashes.
Tried wiping my data, clearing google framework, all that, still doesn't work. I'm in desperate need of help this is killing me.
Try reflashing the rom or install your back up
Tried both, tried downloading a fresh version of RipperROM, wiped all my data, cache, dalvik, several times, fixed my permissions, and it's still crashing.

Use another rom .
Or reach ten posts and ask in the rom thread .

Don't know why I'm getting this and you're not, but I think it's a repeat of a known problem in the i9300 posted here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=33003918&postcount=2683
It doesn't happen if I haven't flashed JB Domination Theme btw.
In general I'm getting FC in almost every rom I flash. Really don't know why it's gone this bad. I switched from PA to RipperROM because my phone app started suddenly acting up.
Now since this post I've tried a few roms.
Flash PA -> get a crash trying to log on to google account (google framework FC)
Flash Sentinel -> ASOP Keyboard FC, can't write anything, back button doesn't work
Flash RipperROM -> I have a functional phone as long as I don't flash any themes, don't trust this to last at all
Should I go back to stock in odin and then root again?

There is a stock pre-rooted rom for odin.
Maybe try Slim Bean rom?
