That code, 11W29, stands for 29th week of 2011. Chips created from then and after have the security hole effectively closed.
So in short, you should NOT attempt to unlock.
No. As Chris said about the security hole, unfortunately your phone is a 2012 production meaning its to late.
So, unfortunately you can't unlock you bootloader.hope I helped

It's a hard brick.
The only thing you can do is send it off to Sony Ericsson. The motherboard has to be replaced. There's no way you can revive your phone yourself
Oh no... please, next time you wanna do something you are unsure of, please ask us first...

Yes , you have to send it off for repair. If your phone is under warranty , just tell them that you are unaware of what happened and suddenly the phone stopped working and responding.
The warranty is expired

You are a goner
Maybe find a mechanic/repair shop nearby who can do it at a cheaper price...

oh noooo, thats the end of it....... Your only choice is to either send it off to the nearest sony ericsson shop to get it repaired or send it to a repairman. I know someone who encountered the same problem 2 times! He sent it off to sony.....
hope it helps

Successfully UNLOCKED Xperia X8 11W35 just hour ago!
I was scared with all disccussions here but I wanted to try, however it could finish.
I had followed this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1254225
I am not encourageing anyone to do so, but it is good to know that 11W29 is not the limit, maybe it is 11W35?
Or maybe it has something with guidance? For me, guides by SpiderX were succsessfull.
U can by paid method

This is rom for S5830i , not ours S5830 ! So you probably bricked your Ace, sorry!
So your tried rum? Liked it?
Kidding.
On a more serious note, does your phone go into download mode? Press Vol down + home + power button at the same time. If it does, you're good.
If it doesn't, tough luck, mate.

If you can't boot into download mode, that's probably the end of your ace.
Sorry, mate.

Try this-
Remove Sim card, memory card and battery.
Press home + volume down + power and holding these buttons, ask someone to insert the battery.
That may do it.
Best of luck.

You can't install any ROMs for the S5830i on the "normal" S5830.
I think that this is the reason for the brick.
Good luck!

So building or buying a USB Jig would would be cheaper.

The usb jig doesn't work on my galaxy ace... i send it to repair shop, they told me motherboard broken, so better throw it n buy a new one. Cost of repair will be enuf for us to buy a second hand galaxy ace.

Motherboard broken? Really?
I can't believe that. Why should flashing a ROM for a different phone model break the device?

Hard bricks render the motherboard useless. It doesn't mean that it's physically broken ( just in case you've misunderstood.... ). I dunno the details of how and why It happens. But it is feasible that that op might get a motherboard of some other device for his phone in case if that of ace is outta stock.

Hey guys,
I'm extremely sorry for opening this thread.! Please forgive me. I posted my question in another thread but didn't get a reply. I am from India and I want to buy Xperia T (which hasn't officially launched in India) from eBay. I was worried about the official jelly bean update for the phone. As tge phone hasn't launched in India the eBay people are providing imported phones. I found a tutorial to manually update the phone here: http://android.sc/update-the-sony-x...o-official-android-4-1-2-jelly-bean-firmware/
This is a flash tool method to flash the official 4.1.2 update only for Xperia T LT30p. I just want to know whether this method is COMPLETELY RISK FREE and there is NOT EVEN A SLIGHTEST CHANCE TO BROCK THE DEVICE BOUGHT FROM ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD???? I want to know this as the Sony service centre in India won't even look at the phone if there is any problem! Please asure me of this flash tool method by taking a look at it and also,
can you please refer to this thread:
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2136173 and tell me what can cause this type of problems? The person who started this thread who has posted 'something' about Xperia T and he is from India! And he bought his phone from Germany! I tried searching the net for 'Xperia T India' but I couldn't find a thing. So I just want to be sure about the flash tool method mentioned in the above link. Has anyone done that before?

Then how do you suggest I update the phone safely and securely to the official jelly bean update? Or could you please give me a link to a thread where the question has been answered or to a safe tutorial to update the phone? I tried searching but I wasn't able to find anything that answers my question! And does this depend upon the region from where the phone is? Will I be able to update the phone using this method? Can anyone please help me with a detailed answer?! PLEASE!!
There is no 100% foolproof method, even the sony official method can ruin your phone if YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS.
However, IF YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS it will work.
Just try it.

Thank you very much... I was just looking for some confirmation. But now I got to know that this flash tool method is as safe pc companion method(correct me if I am wrong) I am pretty good at following instructions and also I have a rooted, bootloader unlocked, swaped xperia x8 running CM10. I am just so worried because I'm 17 and hence I don' t earn a single penny myself and this xperia T should last me atleast for the next 3 years. Would you please give me confirmation once again just for my satisfaction and also some general advice you think is necessary before following the above method? Like region verification, build no., kernel & firmware version, etc

Yes, rest assured, it's totally risk-free, using flashtool and flashing STOCK roms and kernels is risk-free, provided that you carefully follow the instructions...
for the firmwares and kernels, regions and the rest, don't worry about these things, as you know, you can flash ANY GLOBAL firmware, whether it is for France or M.E. or Malaysia, so don't worry, just search and see what build number is the last firmware for your T, then flash it, and thanks to DoomLord, you can root it even you have locked bootloader, using his rootkit, so don't unlock the bootloader for now
wish you best of bests, bro

Yup.. I did give it a thought! But its out of my budget... or otherwise I would have bought a nexus 4 16GB! Though xperia T is nowhere near the nexus 4 in terms of looks and hardware but it looks much better than SP. Also the SP has just 5.8GB of usable internal storage.... I felt really sad that I can't buy nexus 4 as it costs 100USD more than Xperia T and SP costs 70USD more... But then I thought I'm just 17! Not everyone of my age is lucky enough to own such a phone.. Many of my aquiantances can't even operate a Galaxy Ace!

Hey guys,
I'm extremely sorry for opening this thread.!
