weird problem in both JB 4.1.2
Unable to send any files via solid explorer and cm file manager when Bluetooth is off(Bluetooth FC)
work around for this problem which I found out with trial and error method.in stead of directly sending switch on Bluetooth in settings before you choose to send the file.
other things are working fine apart from the mentioned bugs.
suggestion for next update(if possible)
there are 3 apps related to Google search in the system (Google quick search box,Google search,Voice search) out if which one can be retained.
Android market 2 apps are available in (vending and Google Play store)vending can be removed.
4.2.1 Clock,Keyboard which is better than the present can be used instead of 4.1.2 (camera is already updated)
Not checked the GPS performance I hope it works as usual.
APN works automatically no need to input access point manually.
overall the ROM is cool and too good.

this ROM is based on aben CM10Rom
some minor difference seen are
APN is automatic
gapps are preinstalled
4.2 camera by default
Holo launcher HD is used instead Trebuchet
torch power widget can be put in status bar(in aben ROM this was not the case) but light not ON
tough OP suggests for CK kernel I'm on Aben's kernel still the performance is great.
in JB thread vivekb mentioned about WiFi tethering working. I tried not working.
So far this ROM looks more smooth but still testing ..

I mean to say the base is aben CM10 rom you can check the signature of most apps in settings.
except for system ui and settings apps which signature says synergye...

I had same issue with both cm10 even viber calls are mute but now music player are working sometime if it doesn't work use vol up and down buttons but still I like this ROM cm 10

yes there is aproblem with audio output it happened to me initially im using tray volume control to increase volume while playing audio songs.
even i had worst experience, was late for office for 2 days because alarm didnt work when i set in new cm10. 3rd day i came to know that alarm was vibrating with no audio output.

New cm7 framework added in for the new halo lock screens and camera. This will probably be my last rom. Getting pretty busy with to many roms, work, and a slow computer.
I used Atrix cm7 rom to port it to our device.
Thanks to all the other developers in the sgs2 and atrix forums. My base file is stock gingerbread modding tricks from several developers. You can use most gingerbread kernels with this rom.
Must have cwm recovery to install. This install does not erase data but always remember to manually delete data if you are not coming from a CM7 based Rom... and backup your data and rom
HOW TO INSTALL
Prerequisite: You must be running an atrix with CWM.
1) Download SuperOSR ROM and place it on your SD card.
2) Power off your phone.
3) With the phone powered off, hold volume button down and the power button until you see fastboot and push volune down until,you,get to recovery. Then push volume up. This should boot you into CWM.
4) Select "wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache, wipe advanced/dalvick".
5) Select "install zip from sdcard" and navigate to and select rom
6) Once done click Reboot System Now

After choosing "Lockscreen style: Ring" go to "Ring-Lock Style" and choose "Holo". I think the OP just made a typo.
This was a pleasnt surprise for those of us who were building a working FP cm7 from source.
Looks great, I can't wait to try it out. Only thing is, neither of the DL links are working for me...using Google Chrome. I'll try firefox I guess...
EDIT: Firefox doesn't want to load the file either. Dang, I really wanted to try this before XDA goes dark tomorrow

This is a port of Android Open Kang Project (AOKP) for the Samsung Galaxy Exhibit (SGH-T679)
I am doing some work on this in my spare time but there is no way for me to fix the camera to work for aokp.I have school as well. Once jocala gets a port of CM10 I will try and port AOKP jelly bean. Just don't expect it. This rom is stable and can be used as a daily driver if you don't mind the camera not working. It is an AOKP specific issue I presume and would require skills beyond what im capapible of to fix.

Hold home and power buttons until the phone reboots and the Samsung logo appears.
The stock recovery should then apear.
make shure cwm recovery is on the internel SD card and from stock recovery flash the zip file (should be easy to figure out)
reboot recovery again
select backup and restore and do a backup.
do a romwipe and then flash AOKP
*flash gapps
*reboot
AOKP is installed now
I would recomend a ROMWIPE if installing over CM9/MIUI but it is not neccicary

Fixed the wifi it was a kernel issue upload when I get home
In the mean time you can just flash one of jocalas cm9 kernels

Very impressive, young Skywalker! It feels like a beta, except for the card problem. 1% battery drain per hour overnight, with GrooveIp and Google Now on. No lag, no issues other than already noted. Excellent first effort! Congratulations! Do your homework first though.
Edit: I forgot I had to change the mic source in groove to 'voip'. Also, artifacts appear in upper left hand corner when fast scrolling thru app drawer, just caught that and it is repeatable.

When I compiled jocalas kernel in virtual box it broke the wifi. All I did was pull the boot.img from cm9 and replace it in my rom.
This fixed the wifi but breaks the SD because of the fact that cyanogenmod changed emmc to SD_card.
I tried with the cm9 kernel from jocalas 0727 build of cm9 and SD card worked but wifi didn't for some reason and I don't have the skills to do serious Modding to the kernel but I hope to fix it.
Also check your lib folder for a modules folder. There's a file in here that controls the Wi-Fi

yes it does. with aokp you can also change it to anything you like
I really like this ROM, it's like CM9 but has a lot of extra goodies. I especially like the status bar tweaks, as you may know I like my icons "small". ROM is fairly stable, with a few lags here and there but that's expected for any ROM in alpha stage.
I think I know what the external sd car issue is and how to fix it but I have no time now, so il see about it Monday.

going to nandroid my pacman rom and give this one a shot! Really am enjoying all the new roms coming out for this phone! So thank you for the time and effort you put into working on this, the more choices the better! It took awhile, but the Galaxy Exhibit is finally getting the attention it deserves, i mean really, a $200 phone that once rooted and rommed up, can hang in with much higher end phones!!! Time to test lol BTW its about time the Exhibit deserves its own spot in the forums in my opinion! With all the new roms and threads its can be difficult to find all the information about our phone!!!
The galaxy w dev that did aokp has partial camera working. So I'll look into it after school. I also need to put in the official boot animation and the swag papers app doesn't have any wallpapers in it.

Well Im getting some lag now in Google now and when I pull my notification drawer down. I wonder If its the gapps I installed. I installed a modded gapps. But I used the same gapps on cm10. Any suggestions?

Did you do a full wipe before install? My home button and browser work fine. Maybe do a clean install of the aokp and gapps and see if that helps.

Ooooook... So I love AOKP.... Its really bare bones.... Fairly fast... Smooth Apex with Touchwiz 5 theme and the animations set to Tablet... Now what I don't like is the inability to set my transparency to 16bit and to turn off surface dithering.... Why? It really helped with the notification drawer jerkyness.... That's my only complaint... The drop down is really jerky and choppy.....
That and I'm having problems with Simple Mobile but that's not the ROM's fault... lol
Otherwise... This is a very very fast ROM and I deff prefer this over Pacman.. x3 Excellent just.. This ROM is near perfect.

Edit: Odd thing is, on CM7 I didn't have any problems.. But in JellyBean I did.. x3 But yeah this fixed it.

Its smooth and good but didnt find any developers setting . Haptic feedback does not work.
Several reboots and faced few incoming calls disconnected after talking for few seconds.
Music and Sounds are better than the previous roms.
Want to stick with this rom now for few days.
Would kindly like to requet Tanuj to update on the few bugs as this too is a super rom for us.

I am really surprised that reboots never happened for me on any of the rom other than once or twice. Still working out for the reason some people even confirmed no reboots
Developers setting is in application tab
Remember to wipe dalvik cache before installing any new rom.
Superfast rom..its very good..am loving it.

Any way of converting all those chinese languages showing up in the notification area to english.
some apps are updating and i dont even know what they are cos of the language.

for playstore fc please use attached apk
use root explorer or ES explorer to paste in system/app folder. Set permission and reboot the device.
for camera FC use MX camera
mention other problem also so I will try to help .....

I feel that all senior people here should help to resolve these small bugs as i am trying to port newer roms so don't have much time to resolve issues
Currently working on MIUI GB and ICS and PARANOID ANDroid 2.0 with latest libs

Tanuj 2 - 3 things just want to mention and need to add in future ROM.
1. keep phonesky.apk in the ROM, it will avoid flashing GAPPS related problem
2. Use automated APN patch
just want to inform you that playstore still FC while selecting app, but I can update it using update button. Will taste more APK
and very bestl uck for MIUI and Paranoid ... desperatly waiting for MIUI as I love MIUI

Everything works like a charm, not softkey bug and cams works fine to me (a bit dark pics maybe, nothing big). I will run facebook for awhile to check whiteout but so far so good ) Excellent work, Gundul! Cheers!

which kernel is used in this rom. it shows unknown in the about kernel version.. confused.
rom looks pretty with black ics theme

I using ck-kernel, but I am also confused why the show unknow. I got the update Adreno drivers, to increase the performance so as not too heavy. But now I can not upload. My Internet is very slow these days

I found it smooth at the beging from installation (clean), then "system not respondig" flags. Installes Aben kernel and it seems ok. Gallery shuts down on running video.
Pretty darn good anyhow!

the wrong orientation of front cam is not a rom problem. it is a problem with kernel ics. all our ics rooms has same problem.
regarding music quality. the default sound is not bad if u want music quality improvement you can use awesome beats.
Hm.. still get random hangs and frezzes...

Clean, no tweaks.. freezes, tried Aben kenel same thins with or without Ardeno drivers..
