Hey guys, I have an Incipio Dual Pro, which I like, but it has a few negatives, mainly the silicone around the charging port flexes to much, and the back, while nice initially, scratched, and while I don't mind it, it doesn't look so good, since it had a brushed aluminum finish that now has shinier parts on it, etc.
Anyways, found this case on TVC MALL and it is basically an Incipio Dual Pro clone, with a few changes.
1. The inner silicone sleeve is permanently attached to the hard shell via an adhesive.
2. It isn't quite as ridgid as the Incipio.
3. The silicone feels of a bit lower quality.
4. It comes in more colors, and matte finish, and in my opinion looks better.
They are both equally as slippery. So it won't improve your grip. Also, the case is inexpensive, but shipping costs are on the high side, since it ships direct from China. Looking at around $10 or less total though for a single case. IF you add more items shipping cost per item will decrease, even though shipping itself goes up.
My brother and I ordered aroudn 25 cases, mostly iphone cases for my mom to decorate and sell on etsy, and it only cost around $36 I think total for the order.

I just placed an order from TVC-Mall yesterday as well, ordered Defender and Survivor knock off cases Assuming you are in US, how long did it take for your cases to get to you? Yeah, the shipping turned out to be pretty high considering I got spoiled by $2 ebay accessories shipped free from China lol!!! So I ordered 4 cases (two for GN2 and two for my kids ipod touches - all brand name knock offs) and one pair of headphones (monster beat earbud knock offs) - shipping was $19 through China post with 15-20 day delivery. That's kind of high, but there is NO other place where I can order these cases, and honestly I ordered it mostly out of high curiosity to see how close they come to original Of course I will be realistic the quality will not be on the same level.

Go to www.case-parts.com (the same TVC Mall under a different name), and type in "otterbox" They have 1:1 Defender knock off (under Denfender name) in all 3 colors, just scroll down. They also have Commuter cases in various colors, but not for Note 2.

I'm supposed to be getting both Survivor and Defender knock offs either today or on Monday. Since I have original Survivor for iPod touch, and had Defender (prior to returning it back), I will do a more detailed review/comparison with my comments soon. Stay tuned!
But in general, don't expect a great quality of material for something that costs small fraction of the price. I'm not saying that Otterbox and Griffin cases actually cost a lot more for them to manufacture since it made in China anyway. It's just that hose companies have a huge overhead and charge a huge premium whenever new case is released. I just saw original Otterbox Defender on Amazon for $35, down from their MSRP of $60 (still, how much they charge for it at Verizon store).
The reason why I'm personally excited to receive and to review these two cases because original Otterbox Defender had issues with its screen protector and I'm curious if knock off actually fixed it i Furthermore, Griffin never even released Survivor for Note 2.

I did the faster shipping option to get tracking ($26 US), and I placed the order on the official website (www.zenuscase.com). The order was placed very late on Tuesday evening (Nov 2), the order was processed/shipped on Wednesday/Thursday, and I recieved the package on Friday afternoon in central US. The tracking showed every detailed step of the process, even that it was momentarily held at customs in Chicago. Kinda unbelievable that it flew around the world and made it into my hands so quickly!
I don't think the cheaper shipment option includes tracking but I could be mistaken.

Be careful -- photos for this one do not show it has rear-facing camera opening -- I am returning one I purchased only to discover it has not provision for the rear-facing camera.

I just received the cheap silicon skin I ordered for my Galaxy Tab. It's perfect for my usage pattern, but I can see that the tight-fitting won't be tight enough for some users (the rubbery edges are soft enough to slip off the tablet). I like it because it doesn't increase the dimensions of the tablet, it protects the plastic case in the unfortunate event of a (short) fall, and it offers more grip than the white plastic material at the back of the Tab (which is good for when resting the Tab near the edge of a table, or simply when holding the Tab with one hand).

I was waiting for the original case... but after seeing shots and the quality of the case, I think the Zenus cases are of MUCH better quality and looks. D3O technology is interesting though....
Well the Zenus case is not exactly in the same price tag... You can get 2 official cases for the price of one Zenus case!
Still, the original case is made of genuine leather and d30 so I don't know why you doubt the quality? Plus I'm not too fond of the black/orange color of the Zenus... But I have to admit it looks nicely finished, although probably not as secure as the original one (lack of d30)...
I can confirm that there is indeed a hole for the rear camera and LED flash on the zenus color edge.
Why I chose the zenus case over the official samsung notebook/stand case:
-Less intrusive on the tablet's front.
-It was already available for order.
-Slightly better styling in my opinion.
Zenus does offer two other cases for the tab already, more conservative in design, and cheaper to compete with the official case.
If I hadn't found the zenus case, I would have been on board with the offical notebook/stand case as it seems very nice. One wouldn't go wrong choosing to go either way I believe.
Yeah, I guess they do cost more. I do like the different/bright colored accents so I guess I am sold on that. I like how the case is made though and the finishing.
Still waiting to see the official beige slip case. Zinio also has a really nice slip case which will be released Nov 11th...
Okay finally I brought the Zenus one, for a 700€ device I wont protect it with a 10¢ case like the silicons on ebay or some mid quallity like the samsung cases.
First I was waiting of the leather book release by samsung but at least I decided that its stupid because it cost just some bucks less and its only pressed leather (see edges) and it may only got collored plastic back, second thought was to wait at otterbox but according to their pricepolitik »bigger device» higher price this is out of buisiness.(ipad about 90$)
So I will make a review when its arrived.
Ordered the yellow and gray zenus case, it's simply beautiful, and I'm too impulsive to wait for vaja cases, Piel Frama and Piquadro to come out with their annunced galaxy case.
And b.t.w. The zenus one is very similar to the 200$ vaja case for the ipad

My £500 Tab is nicely wrapped inside its soft rubbery £4 silicon skin, with the advantage of the versatile orientation options not being compromised by a thick and heavy flappy cover on one side
Each to his own though, it really depends on the usage pattern (need for pocket-ability, risks of falls, etc.). I really like the looks of the leather covers, but personally they would compromise my experience of the touch tablet.
since this is sold through google play store, will any store such as amazon.com for instance sell cases and such, the galaxy tab 2 7.0 has pretty much no cases and if they do there just kickstand type cases. mabye if this gains popularity it will get actual cases like otterbox and stuff.

Pretty much every major device release sees the accessories out before the device gets into peoples hands.
I always find though that no matter how much I spend on fancy otter boxes and targus leather cases I end up using my $2 TPU case with the cheap screen protector it came with.
Never mind, the case is back up. And, I ordered ASAP this time. My $200 tablet turned into $300 by the time I paid for shipping and taxes, but it's still worth it.

Update: Asus put out its own press release on the Nexus 7, and there's a few details in there worth noting. Covering the front of the Nexus 7 is a layer of Corning FIT glass, while the display itself features Asus "TruVivid" technology. There's no details on what, if anything, that means in reality — but the Nexus 7 does have an IPS display with a 178-degree viewing angle. Asus also claims up to 9.5 hours of battery life; that's more than Google claims, so we'll have to wait until our review to see how it performs in reality. Lastly, there was a little more detail on the new "smart cover" — it's polymer with a matte texture, and will come in six different colors.

Default Google Case
Im in Japan right now and am not able to see the default Google case, or even purchase it. I had one of my co-workers purchase the 16GB Nexus and the case from Google for me so it will be waiting for me when I get back to the States . I've looked at a couple pictures of the case, but haven't found any good ones.
Does anyone know if the case has a stand? I saw that it was a flip case, but I wasn't sure whether or not it was similar to the Apple Smart Cover.

This pouch is great, has space of accessories (e.g. my OTG cable and headphones) and it fits really well.
the flap at the top is a bit tight to undo as you have to turn it inside out but that will loosen up over time. overall i'm pretty impressed, hopefully the images i've attached will be of some use

What makes this worth $20 compared to the dollar neoprene case? I'm not being harsh, there were people on the Cruzerlite thread saying the same thing about $5 TPU cases and the Cruzerlite not being worth $20, but I liked the Android Clone Army on it, okay, so there.... Just want to know why I should go with this before I spend the money, I like the second pouch on the inside, but if you're not planning on bringing cables with you, is it worth it?

As for the reason that this sleeve is different from other cheap ones, as mentioned in the first post: The sleeve has an extra layer on the inside to store accessories.
Cables, headphones, OTG cables, memory cards, etc...
I would definitely buy other cheaper ones if there were any out there. But it is the only one I found with such a feature. Just thought I'd share .

It is definitely NOT that tight.... I have a TPU style case on mine and it isn't nearly tight enough for me to be worried about cracking screens or tearing the neoprene case - no need to worry, you aren't buying from some cheapy manufacturer, if something tore on it, I'm certain Amzer would replace it
Mine definitely WAS that tight - tired pulling it different ways, setting device in front of or back of seams, etc - tried pulling on angle cuts, pushing in depth first, etc - mine was TOO tight after many tries, sent back.

Well so I kept searching and finally found those two cases that share the same properties (and can be bought at one by one):

This is the best case yet and you only need to buy 20 cases. Its too bad I can't get a sample cuz Id definately buy 20 cases and sell them on Ebay if I knew that they were atleast the quality of those Blurex/Moko/IBlason Slim Folio Cases.

While I really like the originally posted case, that second-last one that you posted, NicoGa (canvas-style), is a dream case for me. I was looking for something softer, but most cases are either black/white leather or hot colours, so that very pretty case you found is perfect for me! Thanks a lot. I will order one and see how it works out.
That last case is also very nice, I like the gold colour a lot.
I prefer the official Asus Nexus Travel Cover to this.
Any news on that case? Anyone found it on ebay yet?

Not everyone needs a pure leather casing, I am totally fine with PU in this case. The outside doesn't even look like leather anyways.

I don't disagree with what you posted, I also have a PU case (Blu-Rex slim fit). It's that the OP was sure it wasn't "pleather", Rather than someone rushing out to purchase what they thought was a "real leather" case, it would be better if they purchased it for it's other merits, since it is not "real leather".
I like the design of this case. I can deal with the PeeeYuuuu pleather to have the bezel free design.

Just bought a Z3C Tab and need a super slim case which does not add much bulk.
If anyone has the official SCR28 - would they recommend it?
Not to fuss about high level of protection - slim fit is the most important factor.
I dont like buying a super slim tablet only for the case to bulk it out too much.

Have to say, early impressions that it is a really good case - quality finish. Not to bulky but not quite as sleek as I was perhaps hoping for. e.g. my last A8-50 genuine Lenovo case was very slim and my colleague's Nexus 7 (2013) likewise.
From the photographs I thought it would be moulded rubber/plastic but it appears to be faux leather bonded to rubbery innards.
I have owned several tablets over the past few years and usually I would baulk at the price of the genuine cover & get some cheap 3rd party. Invariably I would find them too bulky and felt they would ruin the portability of the tablet. But, more recently I started buying the genuine case when on offer etc and find them a much better sleeker fit.
Overall I would give this 4/5 - and I would say is worth the £22 I paid for it.

This is my case. It is very well made, has ballistic nylon, and a zipper around the edge. I know the description says it is for 7" devices but it holds my Z3TC just fine. It's easy to remove from the case if necessary and also has a kickstand function. I'd highly recommend it. I got mine at Wal*Mart for around 20 bucks.

Thanks. I was tempted to modify mine too - like I did with my Z1 Compact CaseMate - but decided against it in the end, in case I did not get a clean/neat finish.
I only tend to charge my Z3 tablet once every 10-12 days so can live with leaving the cover open.
has anyone bought a poetic slimline case for their z3tc? i cant find them anywhere (the poetic cases website has a 'pre-order' option which is strange considering how long the z3tc has been out) and don't really want to pay ~$50 for the official Sony case. I've had a poetic slimline case on my N7 and really liked it, especially because it was ~$20.

Quality-wise I find it identical to the Poetic slim case I have for my Nexus 7 2013. In fact I went looking for a poetic logo on it when I thought to post about it then remembered I bought it from aliexpress.
It's cheap, feels like quality, fits device well and isn't falling apart, I like it, I'm no longer looking for a new one.
