I bought my galaxy s plus a week ago with gingerbread 2.3.5 and i got a problem.
When the wifi is on and the battery drops down to 50% it restart itself like 5 times in a row and it shuts itself down, can anyone please help me?

it can be the battery, try another one if you can, maybe it's faulty.... or you can try a custom rom, but i think it a battery fault

if you have stock rom you can try to flash a custom rom, i read that this problems may happens with stock roms, but i don't think so... i used stock rom, even if for a short time and i didn't have problems. maybe its a phone fault, if a custom rom does not solve your problem you can try to take to samsung assistance and solve the problem
The custom rom didn't work i already tried i will use the warranty or bring it to samsung later

I tried to use flashtool and update my baseband so I can use LTE following the thread and after it said complete flash and I started the phone..NOTHING! I had a vibration then nothing else appear (Logo, loading etc.)
I tried to hold volume down and power but still nothing. Charging won't give me any light...
Can anyone please give me help?
Did you flashed everything or just the baseband?

I only flash the baseband. I am using ZL FTFC6506

After i installed 4.3 vodafone UK i have notification of new software and this in statusbar. Anyone seen this? I dont know what it is.

I have unbranded unlocked XT.
Update is 2.4 mb in size. Downloads normally, reboot to install and then i get this in statusbar.

I saw the same thing after installing 4.3 Vodafone DE FTF today. I am on a Bell LT30a. I downloaded it, and told it to install. It rebooted, and looked like it was installing, but after it rebooted, I have a hard notification in my top bar telling me that the update failed. Oh well. I just want to root this thing and get my apps back

Laziodroid do your imei start with 0044? Mine do, and i think its a prototype phone. Maybe thats the reason for this?

Yes, mine does! I believe mine is a prototype phone also. No one can sim unlock this phone
Hi everyone,
This is my first time posting so sorry if it is in the wrong place
I have got an xperia z and I decided to change over to cyanogen mod. I the got rid of that and flashed across a stock rom which works fine however it is telling me that I have an update ready but the update center won't do the update because it tells me I have a custom rom so does anyone know how to return it to how it was when it came out of the box?

Relock your bootloader if you want to receive updates officially. Flashtool can do it in BLU mode.

Hello all,
I got my Z1 through Amazon, my customization number is 1276-0875 (Customized UK). It took sometime to get the 4.3 update, like 3 weeks later the official release. Till now I didn't get any update notification on my phone or PCC for Kitkat. Is that normal? :|

I got it on mine. Unlocked Z1. But as other people have said. Just use flashtool. Doesn't alter anything its as safe as houses.

Individual carriers will be working on the update, testing/fixing etc. Probably better that you wait seems as there was so many bugs in the last one.
