After i installed 4.3 vodafone UK i have notification of new software and this in statusbar. Anyone seen this? I dont know what it is.

I have unbranded unlocked XT.
Update is 2.4 mb in size. Downloads normally, reboot to install and then i get this in statusbar.

I saw the same thing after installing 4.3 Vodafone DE FTF today. I am on a Bell LT30a. I downloaded it, and told it to install. It rebooted, and looked like it was installing, but after it rebooted, I have a hard notification in my top bar telling me that the update failed. Oh well. I just want to root this thing and get my apps back

Laziodroid do your imei start with 0044? Mine do, and i think its a prototype phone. Maybe thats the reason for this?

Yes, mine does! I believe mine is a prototype phone also. No one can sim unlock this phone

Hi,
I have a LT30a (from AT&T) that I flashed LT30p firmware exclude baseband. When I tried to use the camera, I constantly experience freeze and if I close the camera app and tried to reopen, it will say "camera not available". Then, I have to reboot the phone for the camera to work again. Has anyone have a similar problem and found a solution?

I had your problem too. I resolved it flashing last fw (7.0.A.3.223).
Hope it is usefull to you too!

It's been a couple weeks now and I have not experience a single crash, so I think the problem has been resolved in .223 FW.

I have a quite similar problem, the "camera not available" message appears on my phone when I try to use a video camera. I'm on ICS too/ Can u pls explain a flash procedure?

ive down mine, im not sure what has changed, the keys stay lit now at least!!not sure what else the update done!?

I just unrooted then reset the phone installed v10h with LG PC Suite then rerooted the same way as before

Installed mine over WiFi (System Settings > About Phone > Software Update > Check for Update) with it rooted and it all worked fine so I don't think you have to unroot.

Mine for some reason wouldn't let me when rooted, just came up with a fault code

I downloaded and installed while rooted, no problems, root still there and also seeder, loving it.

I used the Lg suite to update in the end. No wipe or anything. It did not complain about root. All apps remained and all my settings icons etc. I Lost root though but soon had that sorted. All seems good but lost over 1000 points in antutu score.
Cleaned dev catch and system catch. Seems all good though.

Hi,
I have this phone and was using the stock android browser that came with it. My phone was on the o2 network in the uk.
I recently got my phone unlocked, and wanted to go stock instead of the o2 software.
I flashed my phone to a stock Uk software. Now i have lost the browser i have been using. Chrome is now the only browser i have. I liked the stock browser that originally came on my phone more. I didnt realise that i would lose it as i thought it was standard software.
Could anybody tell where i can download it from again?

Did you get the solution now? If yes, would you like to share. I got the same problem too. Previously I dont have any issue (4.5D). The apps runs smootly but when trying to update to 4.65D, then I got this issue.
Go to settings>security>device administrators>enterprise service ... Uncheck enterprise service nd install WA+

Installed first pop on my phone, from the link provided above. Didn't have to change anything, see screenshot below. Or not hahaha looks like attachments are broken. Just installed straight over top of the latest normal version.

No, just flash.
If you want once a custom ROM/Kernel it would be good that you make a backup of your TA before unlocking bootloader.
Edit: if you want root, there is a stock based custom ROM with root and recovery(for 4.3).

I noticed that also. A normal thread name is really not like that. A thread name says in some short words the problem. Example: bricked phone says much more then only i have a problem. That is the sense of a thread name
