I was wondering if I would be able to cut out the NFC on my original back door and tape it onto my extended battery back door.
What would be the process for that?
Is that even possible?

Its just a sticker you can pull off, and put on any back you like

I just ordered mine. Is the NFC not built into the phone or battery?

The NFC antenna is basically a sticker on the battery door for the Note 2. Some of the 3rd party battery doors dont have the sticker. But they do have the mold where it goes.

So its easy to take the NFC antenna sticker off a battery door, or flip case you dont use anymore, and put it on a new one. Or you can just order the sticker off of eBay, but the shipping is insanely expensive.

Got it on Amazon. Its even better than I would have hoped! The little notch/gap in front is to dock the phone. Everything is OEM and has that OEM feel. Pretty dang awesome. Highly recommend.

Is this dock available in the US?
Maybe it's because of the 9023, but I have an I9020 from England and I'm not sure if my l9020 fits the dock for the 9023.

This is just a review of the ebay metal flip back replacement for the Note II.
Impression:
1. Solid build with a very nice brushed metal finish. Definitely gave the phone a higher quality feel over the plastic back.
2. Has built in NFC, but I haven't tested it's functionality.
3. Adds 40g of weight.
4. In my room, with the OEM back my signal averaged -70dBm, with this case my signal averaged -73dBm.
5. Does fit inside generic neoprene case, also from ebay.

Ditto
Please confirm if NFC works. I want to buy one ASAP. Thanks!
I gotta say, this definitely looks to be one of the nicer flip cases I've seen so far. If the NFC works as well as the stock cover, I may have to pick one up, too.
Really weird that it has a built in nfc because nfc on my silver metal back cover does NOT work. Somehow the metal coating must interfere with the signal.

See on ebay seller page :/
Confirmation: I have tested NFC and it does not work.
I just ordered mine, full black. Hope to get it before Christmas !
The illustrations show that there is absolutely no nfc antenna in the interior shell of the case. Detach your oem Battery door and look at the antenna. The sellers are showing you the entire case from front to back. Buy at your own discretion.

Kinda bulky and the bottom slides off exposing the black or blue underclass. It's like a pewter color, pics are uploading gimme a minute lol

I bought it also decent case I wish the edge of the rubber doesn't feel like it was slicing my ear as I prefer the look of it with out the plastic shell. Very slim and mate black sexy phone. My friends have gs3, GN2, gs4, nexus 4 and the HTC one all love this phone. My one buddy with the HTC one just got it the end of last month and is already trying to sell it. Lol

Bought this case last week and just returned it. with normal wear and tear over 1 week i found the bottom piece to slowly slide off throughout the day.
also i didn't like how slick the back was so i returned it.
I'm gonna return mine. I didn't like it at all. Just wanted to post it up. My slim poetic case comes on today: D

Link to other thread with my case which has the hole for ATT G2 where it has a mic top right of camera and T-Mobile doesn't have that mic there so this case works for all except Verizon. I have three posts in the thread with pictures and name of case.

flexed it, the top end of the back cover flexed enough for me to get a finger nail under it. pull, a tab will pop, work your way around sliding your fingernail, when you feel it get tight, pull again and the next tab will pop. it's pretty hard to **** up. just don't pull like a madman and you're good to go. oh, and remove the sim tray first.
Looks just like the G2
