The only problem is the gouvenour and its power managment. Asphalt 7 needs for graphic power for example .... but the govenour interactive dont rams the clock to max for powersaving so it isnt smooth. With changing to performence EVERY lag is gone So i createt profiles that i have interactive for powersaving and when i start games i have performence
Just a tip

setcpu does not bog down my xoom. I have used antutu but like the smaller setcpu widget. all the ones mentioned are OK.
Well I hadnt tried it anyways, been camping all weekend so didnt get chance..
I litterally want something that'll show my current CPU speed in a widget..

Hello guys! Okay, I have the bootloader locked, so STOCK *laggy* KERNEL. Today I was playing with the CPU freq and It's says "DON'T PUT OVER THAN 749mzh", and I put to 806mzh, I the mobile DIDN'T reboot or anything, It's was TOO fast, not laggy in ANY part, and just wondering, Can I put those freq. to play games? It's risk? Because It's TOO high.
The 806mzh freq. was about one o two minutes...
806mzh are risk and unestable, right?
Thanks a lot guys!
Its safe ...for breakfast you know frying eggs , toast , all that requires hot stuff.
Nop man aint safe.

Anyway, when I was on stock kernel, I overclocked my phone to 806mhz as you, it didn't rebooted, I could play games without reboot. I used with GingerXperia V8, and it was really fast.
Thanks!
Thanks for answering! Okay, I think my phone it's going to explote RIGHT NOW, so, I just tryed
I'm not a lover of the games, I only use my phone to use the social applications, just when I'm in the school I want to play something FUNNY.
Okay guys, thanks for answering.
See you later! :good:

your phone maybe getting hot
if your phone didn't reboot after you set to 806, you can play games with it.
It's risk, shorten your mobile phone life i think
High risk. If u want to keep phone more time, dont oc

Guys with a rooted HTC One, please confirm what CPU governors are supplied by default on the device also what IO schedulers
ie: ondemand, interactive etc...
there should be an MSM-DCVS governor which would bring the most performance out of the device
please confirm
you can find out by apps like SetCPU, trickster mod and system tuner

yes it doesn't mean much
GL benchmark already demands full performance regardless of the governor, unlike 99% of games which require CPU governor change to prevent fps stalls usually caused by ondemand governor
but i was still kinda hoping...
anyway many thanks mate, very helpful :good:
more info here
Seems like the fps is locked down on 34fps on kernel level. If this was the maximum the gpu could provide it should fluctuate to lower or sometimes higher score instead of giving a consistent 34fps score.
Look at the picture, why cant scaling the cpu?
I try setcpu (on the picture is one power battery saving) but no luck, see at cpu spy its scaling it self to 1000-1000mhz even i lowered it to 200-800mhz
The picture i attach is without using the phone, just idle and without using the data or wifi...just unplug it from charger and drive to work for half hour....and that it, draining fast...
Is there any cpu app can scaling S3 mini cpu?
Now i feel like the same like using my MTK6577 phone
Or its Jelly Bean default? Cant scaling the cpu but can use the inbuild power saving mode, still its suck a lot of juice...
I already remove all bloatwares, just install fb, wechat and stuff like that...no gaming.

I've been wondering about what to expect when undervolting. There's only one kernel for this phone that I know of, the Render one; if there are more, feel free to point them out. Additionally, what kind of global offsets can I expect, and what are your settings?
Sent from my victara using Tapatalk
Does anybody tried undervolting yet ? Is it worth to play around with lower values and save some juice or not ?

i've tryed to set lower voltage setting via kernel auditor on custom Krait kernel but, as i think, had random reboots while CPU loading growed up in short time...
Still testing on new kernel build

No undervolting but try interative governor tweaks. There is a guide how to in Nexus 5X general.
A stock Moto gets 5h 35mins
