[Q] i want to root my mobile?

hi is there anyone who can help me step by step for rooting my Samsung galaxy note with LB1 firmware.... please tell me how to root my phone? i was looking at the posts on developments section but i m not able to get that how can i root my device since it is a non directly rootable?? i want to root so i want a guideline step by step.. thanks in advance..

I need help rooting my sgs 2.3.6 baseband XXJVT
I am unable to insert picture because I am new here :-(
I have tried SuperOneClick, Gingerbreak.apk, Z4Root, and I am left with no other options.

for rooting your i9000, you need ODIN software and CFRoot Kernel for example.
use search option
and/or read this first:

suggest you upgrade your Firmware First go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1102881 , select Firmware according to your location, than go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1112908 and flash a semaphore kernel. you will get root plus CWM
