Beta #2 is ready.
Now everything in non-sense apps should look stock Android(meaning, I've made the green text and line in alert dialog boxes blue, see screenshots).
Removed the "Ongoing" text in the StatusBar, so it doesn't take space and it looks better that way too.
Added the blue diagonal lines behind a Status bar's notification icon.
________________
Some of you are maybe using a SystemUI.apk I themed to look AOSP months ago, now I decided to make few modifications again and make it more "believable".
Also, some framework-res modifications have been made. Now all buttons, dialog boxes, check boxes and other stuff look like they would on an AOSP rom.
There're some other things to be done and some visual defects to be fixed, so I'll call this Beta #1.
It has QuickSettings included, but I prefer using Notification Toggle.
It's just to make the waiting for CM9 more pleasant.
Please report bugs and visual defects.
Known bugs:
* Clock colour is just not willing to change, I literally tried everything I can think of..
* QuickSettings make a visual bug sometimes when closing the notification panel
How to install:
* Make a backup
* Flash in Recovery
* Wipe dalvik, just in case
To complete the effect:
* Install Nova Launcher or any other launcher based on the stock one
* Use AOSP lockscreen by removing HtcLockScreenLite.apk from /system/app/ (Note: It's buggy)
There're still things I want to change, but it'll happen in time, my head is going to explode atm, all this compiling and testing is exhausting.
(Note: I'm not a "real" themer, I'm as good as you are in Android "stuff", so bugs, etc are something to be expected)
(Note: In the screenshots I'm using Notification Toggle, not to be confused with QuickSettings)

What exactly do you mean by notification behaviour?
stuck in bootloop !! after flashing it on Revolution de sense rom !!!!!
Wipe cache and dalvik.
If it doesn't work, restore system from the backup(see? Backup is important).
I can't find a reason for it not to work on Revolution, though.
Re: [MOD][Theme]AOSP look
I mean when you pull down the notification tray, it shows the settings shortcut, carrier etc. First, then notifications when you pull it down from the top

I'm running de sense so i'll flash it on it to see if it works in a mo
Ok I've installed it , and its worked fine screenshot
Three things , are you using cwm or twrp ? I'm using twrp .
Secondly my last install of de-sense was a clean install (before the small patch) ,
Using twrp you are given the option after install to wipe dalvik and cache which I always do .

What happen to the quick setting icon?
Uhm, what icon?
I've never used this, but it looks fine to me?
oops i didnt know that the top area leads to the quick settings! anyways really love this mod! Keep up the good work! Cant wait for future updates!
Beta #2 is up, getting near to final maybe soon.
could you please make that line in the bottom happen? not to put you under pressure or anything
That line is AOSP for Jelly Bean, and the circle is for ICS. It's a bit different to port from a different version of Android, most of the stock ICS files are already in ours. I'll look into it, but later.

Here U go flashable zips via CWM 2.5.1.3
Before flash do nandroid backup (just in case)
Nice to see my battery icons in other mods Can i ask something? What else is changed in this framework? (just wondering what are the differences between those and mine for LeeDroid - maybe i could help in someway to fit them more into LeeDroid)
Oh come on.. Now I got a bootloop.
yes, I flashed the .zip with CWM 2.xxx.
What should I do now?
Restore nandroid at first (thats why i asked to make it just in case ). Than try to flash zip with Fastboot mode OFF (settings/aplications). If still wont work i have no idea wtf... u can try to push it via adb aswell. i mean only framework-res.apk to system/framework

Not quite the same mate second zip says it all when charging its numbered
Plus its just the framework .apk its a case of replacing the framework in the Rom to make the battery icon become default battery in the Rom losing nothing

maybe because he trying to flash over the the notification power control with new framework which would rewrite the whole thing would it not
Oh, well, I meant to write notification power control but wrote powerwidget.
And as I said, I don't think it has anything to do with the .zip I flashed because it's working before flashing the power control thing.

I'm using Pauls Pre-bake. Worked the first time for me but I did it in the most round about way ever! Probably due to me flashing the ROM and theme before my morning coffee..
I doubt any of the sequence I did played a part in getting it to work..but here goes
1) Titanium backed up my user apps
2) Booted into recovery, did a full wipe and flashed Paul's pre-baked R4 ROM.
3)Booted back into the phone, changed the date/time to the correct one, and pulled titanium backup from the market.
4)Did a titanium restore(only user apps)
5)Noted everything was working fine with the new ROM and rebooted into recovery again (to flash the theme)
6) Now here;s the doozy, intending to flash the theme I flashed Pauls rom again!
7)Had to wait for the ROM flash to finish and flashed the theme immediately after.
8) booted back into the phone and everything worked.
I seriously doubt you have to do it the way I did for it to work, but i figured I should included my flashing steps just in case you wanted to know

Strange !
With Desire HD so many Stuff installed via CWM, never get a Bootloop.
Here with r4 and P990 i got many.
- battery percentage installed, loop.
- theme installed, loop.
Using r4.
Any Ideas ?
Best regards.
Sascha
The simple error
after trying 500 times to get the theme to work, i found the error, there are missing a _ in the zipfile.
Doc_Themev.0.2 change it to Doc_Theme_v.0.2, and it works like a charm.
Reporting to say it still works with r5.. but not sure what I lost from r5 because I flashed it

yeah, the power menu is jacked up but other than that it is a lot better since it will not have anything looking for the radio and stuff. It is very nice for me so far. This weekend I plan on sitting down and fixing the power menu, it is just the wording that is wrong, the stuff works, put a screen shot up of what the options are

All smooth, installation smooth, rom smooth, didnt have to do any mods to it as I had to with the N8000 rom - sweet no bugs or glitches so far, no having to change governer etc, feels great.
One curious thing though... when going to settings/app/manager/all it still lists contacts, phone app, sim settings and other telephony stuff!
Whats that about, is it still going to be looking for radio and stuff ie sucking battery etc???

I'm gonna try this. Hope it works better. I'm not having any luck flashing the NEXT kernel and also have no phone audio using the "other" stock-based 4.2.2 (same problem as @ketut's Sammy-based 4.1.2)....
Ahhhh big job Luigi!!

Not Tablet UI Patch yet.
Also @Android-Andi Screenshots! Yes! I forgot.
Edit: Screenshots added on post 4
Alright. I have a working phone remover. The deny signal is gone. The phone stuff is gone. Only problem is the device reboot when trying to bring up the power menu. So I guess we can't remove mobile data from the settings. Unless I or someone from here can figure something out. Anyways, now I''ll try to add flare effect and fix the mic and stuff.

Please try add ro.carrier=wifi-only to build.prop, NEXT kernel will stop 2 phone related daemon on boot.
Alright, I made my own version of the blackhawk 4 update annnnnnd... mic still doesn't work. @ketut.kumajaya. I think 4.2.2 uses some different files for mic.
Any error with sync app & calendar?
For me everything went well. Realy smooth and fast. But first time i tried to delete some of the things i don't use from system/apps(nothing that i don't usually delete) TW FCs....will try again with only freezing. Ty for your good work
Does swap sd work? thanks
Not working on 3100
on Booting the message "android.phone" has stopped and "android.gapps" has stopped pops every second. Cant even get through the setup process.
Procedure which i followed was from cm 10.1.2
Wipe data-> wipe cache->wipe dalvik->install rom->wipe cache->wipe dalvik and reboot.
going back to cm now.
Thanks.
I have the P3113 and simply go into systemui.apk and remove all signal icons. I also remove all the battery icons simply because I prefer the bat %. I know this does not remove the phone stuff itself but it does get rid of the icons in the Noti bar without any errors.
Not the best way but it works.
fast and smooth but i have an problem after flashing there is no gallery app
