Not possible at the moment. stock android only processes jpeg for screenshots. Perhaps it's possible if a 3rd party app would develop one. But why need a tiff format?

He did say HTC One so I think he's on the correct forum.
Regarding your query maybe it's just he got a demo unit, he has managed to get a pre-released version.
Anyways he didn't mention he did try or have one. Maybe he's just asking it in advanced.

Yes it's a port from the port I have resized/replaced the images in com.htc.resources.apk so they fit though

it work not on my HTC Hero elelinux 2.0
I tried to install (i've installed plenty customs roms and even one boot screen), but my old boot screen still shows up. I looked through the wipe settings, but none seem viable.

Avatar has to be 80x80 pixels or less and has to be less than 19kb. Also needs to be in jpeg or png format.
Make sure the avatar you're uploading fits all of those characteristics.

I think it can resize your avatar though. My avatar was originally 480x720 or something like that.

I know you are an Über N00b, but I hope you are at least smart enough to comprehend the difference between an avatar and a profile pic! :laugh: Especially when you uploaded your profile pic.
If you are not smart enough to know the difference, the dialog box shortcut for uploading your avatar is Alt + F4. Press the Alt key and hold it. Then press F4.

No problems mate, the image is one of those stretchy ones that paralax scrolls when you swipe left and right to move between home screens, the image is from the furthest left of that scrolling.
