Mine is like that too. I think that's how it's supposed to be. Also checked a few others ones we have and it's the same thing.

No problems mate, the image is one of those stretchy ones that paralax scrolls when you swipe left and right to move between home screens, the image is from the furthest left of that scrolling.

Not possible at the moment. stock android only processes jpeg for screenshots. Perhaps it's possible if a 3rd party app would develop one. But why need a tiff format?

Regarding your query maybe it's just he got a demo unit, he has managed to get a pre-released version.
Anyways he didn't mention he did try or have one. Maybe he's just asking it in advanced.

Thanks for the correction! Just realized her name was julia damn!
I just received my new N4 from an RMA and noticed that there are now what appear to be two small bumps at the bottom of the just beneath the glass back. At first I only saw one and thought it was an imperfection but then I noticed the other in the exact same location on the opposite side. My old N4 doesn't have this. I'm guessing this was done to keep the glass from making contact with debris when it's laid on it's back, thus reducing potential scratches and damage. So is this new or did I miss something? Anyone else have these on their device?
I attached an image to show what I'm talking about. The extra layer you see on the rear of the phone is my dbrand skin.

No. I don't think anyone thinks hardware features will be magically unlocked. There would be no reason to disable bands for each variant. LTE is hard to include with all the different bands. So they have to to cover their bases. I don't see how you could enable the bands that aren't in the hardware.

Yep..KitKat is designed around reducing/eliminating the dreaded 'fragmentation'. Just one of their approaches, and the most palatable, imho.

I've been using Ultimate Dynamic Navbar (UDN) as I also had issues with GMD. I don't think there's a way to auto-hide the default nsv bar (at least not yet).

It reset my wallpaper and removed a bunch of my shortcuts. It was very weird.

Were you using the paid version or the free version of GMD? I agree the free version is crap, the piad version though is amazing.

ROM didn't matter. The app is flawed. There are several people in the thread reporting the same issues.

I've got zero issues with it. It starts when I power on the phone and gives me zero problems. I've got it set to where it is invisible, I tap the very bottom edge of the screen and the soft keys come up.

the Att version has the rounded/smoother looking search bar., but use nova then you can make anyway you want.
This happened to me with the S8 once and it took forever to get it back. I think it was something with a certain theme messing with it. It took a factory reset to actually get it back to normal.
I had once updated the google search bar to round and once I reset my phone I have the same old rectangular Search bar again ! What do I do to get that round shape ? **** , I want that man .Someone hear me out !
For me, i faced the same issue at the first Start Up. DBT/Exy Version. I get rid of it with delete the widget from homescreen and replace it. I mean i put it on the Homescreen again, i dont delete the Google App itself. Since then, my searchbar is rounded. Hope this may work for you.. Good Luck !
